I normally don't leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others before they go through what I did. I recently visited RideNow to purchase a Polaris Sportsman, and what I saw felt very misleading. The price shown online was around $7,100, which seemed like a fair deal and was the only reason I made the trip. Once I arrived, the price mysteriously jumped by nearly $2,000 more, landing close to $10k+ with add-ons and "fees" that weren't clearly disclosed up front. It felt like every time I questioned the numbers, a new fee or justification appeared. After leaving frustrated, I checked reviews for other RideNow locations -- and that's when I realized this seems to be a common theme across multiple stores. I wish I had looked sooner. There are a lot of customers reporting similar price changes, markups, and unexpected add-on charges when you sit down to sign. Everyone can make their own decision, but in my opinion, this experience felt like a classic bait-and-switch pricing situation. I value honesty and straightforward business practices, and I didn't feel like that's what I got here. If transparent pricing, respect for your time, and fair dealing matter to you, you may want to consider exploring other dealerships before committing here. Here's the sequence of events: 1. I brought the 4 wheeler in for diagnosis. 2. Your service team called and told me the issue was the batteries and that new ones needed to be ordered. 3. I was quoted a little over $400, and I clearly said that was about the maximum I was willing to spend because the 4 wheeler itself wasn't worth much more. 4. Months go by before I get a call saying the original quote was wrong -- you actually needed double the number of batteries. o My two options? A) Pick up a non working 4 wheeler and still owe you $400+ B) Pay an additional $400+ to get it fixed At that point, I was backed into a corner. My kids' 4 wheeler still didn't work, and I was being asked to pay double the original quote after your mistake. I still agreed and told you to order the additional batteries. 5. Then more time passes and I get another call: o All the batteries are in, but the 4 wheeler still doesn't work. o Now it "might be XYZ," and it's another $150 to get it running. o And if you don't pay something today, you're going to start incurring $20 a day storage fee So, after multiple misquotes, delays, and unexpected charges, I'm being told that my frustration's in this situation is just because I "didn't like the outcome." First off, I had my Raptor 90 taken in because it wouldn't start. Only had 20 hours on it. That was 7-8 months ago. So the first problem was the length of time to repair the unit. Had to make multiple calls to get updates. I guess a ton a management turn over. They said I needed new piston rings / clean valves. Hard to believe on a new unit with only 20 hours. Paid to have that done anyway. Unit was delivered 5/7/25 and it started. Rode it up the driveway. Fast forward to today 5/18/25 first time to take a spin with the kids. (unit delivered 5/7/25). It won't start dead battery which means they never left it on the trickle charger. So now it also needs a new battery. I charged it and it starts. However, it "lurches" I tried adjust the throttle screw "limiter" not that. It will go but lurches at every rotation of the piston. Won't exceed 8-10mph. I would not recommend their service dept for two reasons. Length of time and response as well as it's still not fixed. It a brand new unit and with new piston rings it should be running like a top. I wonder if they read these and will do what's right and get a mechanic to actually fix it. I have attached the receipt of work as well for proof. read more

I went back to RideNow and they were very helpful. Immediately offered to set it up for me at no charge and did so in short order. Went to purchase a new unit and they tried sneaking in a bunch of hidden fees and then they tried jacking up my interest rate so they could get a "kickback" from the lender. Thats what Aaron, the sales/finance manager actually admitted to me. All of this was on a machine that the manufacturer had forbid the sale or use of due to a serious safety issue. These guys are bad and this kind of disregard comes down from the top. Ridenow is a wounded dying business and they're desperate for any penny they can get. read more

Several years ago, I purchased a bike here and also ordered additional accessories at the same time. I was told the items would be ordered, but I never received them. Honestly, I eventually forgot about the order until I came across some paperwork recently and decided to call. I didn't expect much given the time that had passed -- at most, I hoped to see if a credit might be possible. Instead, I was met with one of the rudest representatives I've ever dealt with. He immediately told me I had already taken the accessories with the bike, which is simply not true. I never received the items, they have never been in my possession, and to be told otherwise in such a condescending manner was unacceptable. I would have even been fine if they told me it had been too long and nothing could be done -- that's reasonable. But to essentially be called a liar and dismissed with attitude is beyond unprofessional. If you value being treated with honesty and respect, I strongly suggest avoiding this dealership. The worse experience and dealings with the service department. They never answer the phone or return calls. Had an issue with an item under warranty and they say now we owe for replacing the part that was damaged that Suzuki approved to be replaced. So they are trying to get paid twice. Last week my motorcycle was inspected by the service department and given a thumbs up to approve it for purchase. I was then offered $9000 online. Today I returned to RideNow with my bike & the online offer. I was told that all I had to do was to show up with the bike and the title, and could leave with a check. To my surprise, they offered me $1000 less than they originally offered. They claimed that the brake lever and muffler had "a scratch." Since bike has been sitting in my garage, and not ridden, that's impossible. Needless to say, I won't be doing anything with them, ever. Honoring a deal is important. Character in business dealings is important. Apparently it's not at RideNow Burleson. read more

Update 2/18/2025. Chris (General Manager)from Ride Now is the best thing that thing that can happen to this location. He personally called me to make things right!! Understanding the entire situation he agreed that the service provided was sub par and is working diligently to fix the problems that have been identified. It's amazing how a little bit of time and fore thought can go a long way. Chris was suffering through the flu and still took all the time and energy he could to make it right. I bought a 2024 Polaris Sportsman 850. After 5 hours on it, Polaris recalled it and made me park it. Months later they found a solution and months after that finally got a part. I took it to another store to have recall fixed. Another store put the wrong pump on it twice. I took it to the original store where I bought it in Burleson and, Chris, the manager had his team fix it. On top of that, he bought an extended warranty for it since I had not been able to use it for almost a year! Polaris didn't do anything but Chris did! Our family had an unsuccessful, and frankly disrespectful, experience this past week. My wife went in for the heavily-discounted Kawasaki Jet Ski, a close-out 2023 model. The salesman was new (I better understand why at this point) and couldn't ask basic questions, but did get answers from manager. Sales guy kept speaking about the great price, but when my wife asked for the total she was told it would be emailed to her later. Later the $9,495 discounted Jet Ski became $14,259 total. $1,500 transport fee, $1,500 assembly, miscellaneous and tax. The trailer? An additional $3.195!!!! So, the advertised and hyped-on price became $19,000 when all is said and done. After saying they had no used trailers to help save money, they did come up with one for $2,500. Ouch. My issue with this company now is the inability to be upfront and honest. They are free to charge whatever ridiculous fees they would like, and sell a $1,500 trailer for $3,195 if they choose. Just be up front and honest. There is a Latin saying, "Falsus in Uno, Falsus in Omnibus." Meaning, false in one thing, false in everything. They did offer an additional $2,000 off (still not enough), but we said no. Why? How can we trust your word now and in the future? Prior to RideNow taking over this place was reputable and ran well. Today, no. I would advise steering clear, or if you insist to use them, ask for ALL numbers to be disclosed so you know what you are paying before assuming it's a great deal. Please, please, please DO NOT take your Honda Talon to have the Burleson location work on it. I have a 2021 Honda Talon 1000R -4 Fox Live Valve that I purchased at the Fort Worth location with the maintenance program. I have had it serviced at the Forth Worth location seven (7) times without a single incident. I figured I would take it into the Burleson location for the last scheduled maintenance service. It would be easier and closer to take it to this location and figured they would have the same caliber of technicians. When I took it in, all was functioning correctly. When I picked it up and took it home, I decided to put the transmission in low gear. It would not go without grinding. I immediately called the Burleson location and brought it back to them to look at. They called Honda corporate to verify what I already knew, someone at the Burleson location was not competent in driving a DCT transmission and grinded the low gears and ultimately ruined the sub transmission. To add insult to injury, they went ahead and charged me to look at the Honda again at their 160/hr price, it was not put back together when I scheduled a pick up, and the technician proceeded to grind the gears and pop it out of gear again in front of me while driving it into the shop to finish placing the plastic gear selection cover back on. They offered to repair the sub transmission for over $4200 labor plus parts. I asked if any of their technicians had replaced a sub transmission on a Honda, and all I received was a blank stare and a reply of "No". Maybe you can buy a Honda from them, but do not have them repair any Honda product with a DCT transmission. read more

I dropped off my 2016 Honda Pioneer 1000 SXS for recall work and full service. Dropped it off at 9am 7/27/2021. It was determined that a part needed to be ordered and the service department said it would take 2-3 days to get the part. I called on 8/3/2021 and was assured that the part would be there by end of business on Wednesday (8/4/2021), I was very appreciative that Brian put me on hold for 5 minutes to check on the part status. I was told the work may be done by the end of the week. On Saturday, I called to check status of the vehicle and was told that they did not get the part until Friday 8/6/2021 and the vehicle would go back into the line up and it should be ready next week. WAIT A MINUTE.... hasn't my vehicle been in the line up since 8/3/2021?? Oh now I remember, I already paid you $430 for the work, no need to be in a hurry now. I have my fingers crossed that the part has REALLY come in and that my vehicle will really be ready next week, after being in the shop for 2 weeks. I will reevaluate once I receive the vehicle back. I received a call on Saturday, 8/7/2021, that the vehicle was ready for pickup. I picked it up, runs great, I am updating to 3 stars for taking so long to have the work done. read more

Take your bike anywhere else. I took my bike here for a recall and the work was done in a fast timely manner. Dropped the bike off at 930 and got a call that it was ready at 1128 the same day! This sounds awesome until you get your bike and it now runs worse than before. Stopped in to make sure everything was done that was supposed to be done and was informed by the service advisor that it was done, I then asked exactly what was done and was told sarcastically everything that is supposed to be done. I then informed them that my bike runs worse than when it was there before the service and was then told I would need to leave my bike there for them to look at. He also stated they are around a month behind and would need to contact Honda so I would be looking ataround 1 month for them to look at it and in total 2-3 months to get my main mode of transport back. I decide to call DFW Honda and see if they could help, after explaining what was going on I told them that the service took less than 2 hours and they informed me there is no way this recall work could be done correctly in that amount of time. Their tech who performs them has done over 100 and it is a 3 hour minimum job. Now I am stuck with a bike that randomly shuts off under acceleration thanks to Freedom Powersports. Here is to hoping that when it stalls I don't get run over by the car behind me but if it does happen atleast its on record that Freedom touched it last and does not care to make it right. read more
