In my experience, that's not accidental--sales staff actively prompt customers to leave reviews while they're still at the dealership, often before the deal is even fully complete. Because of that, many of those glowing reviews deserve a closer look. I bought a lightly used vehicle that was marketed as "Certified," expecting that designation to mean something. Within a few weeks--and after only about 200 miles--the check engine light came on. When I brought it back, the service department suggested the damage must have been caused by hitting something like debris or an animal. While that's always possible, we had no recollection of any such incident. More importantly, the damage itself didn't support that explanation--affected areas were covered in grime consistent with older exposure, not fresh impact, and there hadn't even been rain during the time we owned the car. After pushing the issue, the dealership ultimately agreed to reverse the sale, which I do give them credit for. That said, I've continued tracking the vehicle by VIN, and it has since moved through multiple owners and dealerships. For a car sold as "Certified"--and priced accordingly--that situation should never have happened. An accident history alone should have disqualified it. While I can't prove the dealership knew about the prior damage, a proper certification inspection should have caught it. I also had a separate issue when ordering a part through their online system. The process seemed straightforward, but after placing the order, I received no updates at all. A full week passed with no status change. Attempts to reach out via email went unanswered, and even submitting a cancellation request produced no response. In the end, I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company and purchase the part elsewhere. Bottom line: approach Family VW of Burleson carefully. The surface impression may be polished, but when problems arise, they can be significant.

    Poor experience and Customer service…read more Unfortunately had a poor experience with I-35 Truck & Auto involving Eli. I can't recommend this business due to being sold incorrect parts and being told they will work for my vehicle, then not standing behind their parts guarantee or word when they don't work. I was needing a core support for my 1994 Toyota pickup, I was told they intact had one and would be $200. I promptly drove 40 min to their location and found out that they did not have one from a pickup but it was actually from a 4runner. I was disappointed to drive all that way to find out I was misinformed but was reassured the part is the same and will work. Eli said they show to be same with no difference between the two and our system shoes same parts and part numbers. Trusting Eli and I-35 truck & auto I said okay and agreed to purchase the part for $200 as I was informed it's the same part that I needed for my pickup. I got back to the garage and started fitting everything to the truck to find out the opposite! Unfortunately in fact the part is not the same and will not work with my pickup despite being told it would by Eli. I brought the part back and explained to Eli that I came in looking for a core support for a pickup but was sold one out of a 4runner being told they are the same and will work but didn't. I was hoping he would stand behind good faith and do the right thing and offer me my $200 back since they did not have the correct part and the part they said would work actually didn't work. unfortunately they said they can not offer me my money back and it was responsibility to very the part works even though they assured me it would. I was very disappointed to find out I just lost $200 dollars and still have to spend another $200 trying to locate the correct part I still need since they did not have the part. He offered me store credit but that doesn't help when you don't have the parts I need! This was my first experience and business transaction with I-35 truck & auto and will probably be the last unless they are willing to make things right. It's not right to sell a customer a different part than what they asked for saying it will work to just make a quick sale then not stand behind it when it doesn't work. Maybe someone will do the right thing and reach out to make things right. Maybe the owner will read this and can help me I don't have a lot of money so taking a $200 loss hurts especially when you were told by the staff of the company the part will work for your application.
