Five stars isn't enough for RV Medics DFW! The Situation: We were traveling from Amarillo to the Fort Worth area with a broken air conditioner in miserable 98-degree heat. Every other shop we called was either unable or completely unwilling to help us. The Communication: Cliff was a lifesaver. He stayed in constant contact with us during our drive and managed to fit us into their packed schedule. It's completely obvious why they are so busy--they actually care about their customers and go the extra mile. We gave these people a call after they repaired our neighbor's furnace in their camper van. They were quick to reply and came out to assess our problems that afternoon. On their initial visit, the tech told us how to reset our side slide which was experiencing uneven movement and sticking. They also set an appointment for the following week to repair or our furnace. They showed up early for the repair and it wound up being $200 less than the original quote. They removed the furnace and cleaned out the mess left by dirt daubers (thanks previous owner!), then reinstalled and made sure the screen was in place to prevent future problems. I've had multiple great experiences with RV Medics DFW. I first called them out to replace a water pump on my 2021 Keystone Springdale, then had them fix some electrical issues, replace a refrigerator, replace my microwave and vent hood. They were adept at dealing with my warranty company, professional and kind, fast and effective when it came to the replacements and communicative and accurate about timelines and appointment times and trip cost and deductibles. The phone is answered or your phone calls are returned very quickly. They are able to get you on their schedule quickly and have always repaired or fixed any problem that I've had. One of our ACs was out of commission due to damage during travel. It's was 100 degrees and July. Something had to be done. The part we needed was back ordered everywhere online for months so I started calling around to every RV company I could find local to the DFW area and everyone turned us away or never called back. Cliff called me back every time I called and told me he would call his guys and see what they could do. He called back right away and told me they had one! The first time I called RV Medics I felt like I was talking to a friend who knew a heck of a lot more about RV life than I, a new full-timer, did. I got great service that time, and recently they were the only ones whom I trusted to install a washer/dryer in my unit. My options were discussed and I was advised what was the best appliances for me...they delivered them, installed them quickly and cleanly, tested them to make sure everything was okay and I am very happy with them. Call them first with your RV repair needs. It's a long story about how I got to Rv Medics but that's not important. Some other repairman didn't do right by me and I called them to fix it. They showed up when expected. I needed them to rewire my heater find out why it wasn't coming on other than the wiring, which they did what they found is that the previous repairman had installed the wrong air conditioner, which cut out the connection to the thermostat. They could've charged me to rewire the whole camper but what they did is install a separate thermostat a much more economical solution on my old camper they let me know that my air conditioner had not been installed properly and they fixed that by insulating it properly. The previous person had used painters tape instead of ducting tape and put up a freeze guard so that it wouldn't burn out the compressor too early. I am taking a year-long trip in my RV and they set me up for a real success instead of a real frustration I can't, thank Shane And Brian enough. I let them know what my financial limit was, and they worked with me to find solutions within that amount. I'm always willing to pay for good work, but I do have limitations as a retired person. I would highly recommend these guys for anything what they say, and what they do really matches. read more

RV Medics saved the day!!!! We had a blowout in New Mexico which messed up my trailer brakes. We limped into town and called around. We were only staying in Dallas for 5 days before heading to Florida. Every mobile RV repair place said they do not do brakes!?! Our slides wouldn't budge. I called RV medics and truthfully didn't think they would see the urgency the way we did. I was wrong. They answered their phone right away and the owner was so courteous. Although they weren't able to get to us at night, they arrived first thing in the morning just like they said they would. I explained our situation and tried troubleshooting over the phone with them to no avail. We have a new unit and have had issues from the get go. Not only did the they fix our slides, they found some hot wires when locating the fuse box. Our propane hose was hanging underneath and also could have been devastating had it caught on anything. They zip tied it up and went over the issues we've been reporting back to the dealer. The unit has been in the shop quite a bit only to have more issues added. We now have the knowledge that we aren't just being "picky" about our issues. RV medics also complete inspections and teach you about your unit from top to bottom. We wish we would have bought in Texas to have had that service before we purchasing this unit. We will be driving it back to them as soon as we have the opportunity to for an inspection and to learn as much as we can about our unit. We spent more money on motel rooms when we should have been using our camper. (Our generator also died on us six hours into our trip, so no dry camping). Had we had an inspection like they do, we would have saved more money than the inspection would have cost. They are a service disabled veteran owned small business. I hear that a lot but to be honest, I've never been in a position that I've used a veteran owned business or if I did, I didn't put a lot of thought into it. These guys are special and we were fortunate to have met them. Not only did they serve our country, they are still out there making a difference in the world. Today, they were my heroes. read more
