It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I write this recommendation for Quality RV Solutions; but it starts with a sad story. Motor Home Specialist (MHSRV), also of Alvarado, put a whole new roof on this 2003 Winnebago Journey 34H for $19,100. Fast forward 10 months and about 200 miles later, my RV was parked at a gliderport in Midlothian, when a thunderstorm with 25 knot wind gusts blew 2/3rd of the roof completely off. On contacting MHSRV, their Service Manager told me that they only warranty their work for 90 days! I contacted several other shops, including the Winnebago dealer, all of whom wanted the motorhome at their shop to inspect the damage, but unfortunately I was parked in the dirt which was now too soggy to drive upon. Lazlo Sears, Owner of Quality RV Solutions, took the time to drive 13 miles over to the airport and survey the damage and gave me an estimate to fix it. I was uncomfortable with the thought of driving the motorhome with the remainder of the roof peeling off, so 'Laz' and a coworker came out about a week later, after the ground had dried sufficiently to drive this 16,000 lb motorhome over it, taped and screwed the remnants of the roof down and took it to their shop for repair. Upon disassembly of the damaged roof, it was discovered that MHSRV had simply put the roof they installed over the top of the old roof, without any bonding between the two roofs, nor between the 'Luan' (thin plywood sublayer) and the fiberglass cap. Winnebago specifies the use of 'Red Glue' (Dorus S 563 Adhesive) to bond the fiberglass to the Luan. What MHSRV apparently did instead was pour ordinary Contact Cement on top the Luan and put the fiberglass down on top of it; instead of applying it onto both sides, allowing it to dry, then pressing them together - as contact cement directions call for. All that was holding the 'new' roof on was screws and a bead of RTV around the periphery; this is why it blew off in a mere 25 knot breeze. I'm glad this didn't happen out on the highway at 75 mph with cars following me. Laz and Preston took pictures and a video as they took the old, incompetently-installed roof off and took it all the way down to the original Luan, to which they glued new luan over it and once that bond was cured, sprayed on a new, lifetime-guaranteed polyurethane roof. They also replaced the TV antenna a few vents damaged when the old roof blew off, replaced an electric vent which failed due to water intrusion and extraction-cleaned the interior headliner stained by water intrusion from the thunderstorm. Since I live alone in North Richland Hills, they delivered it to me when it was done for a nominal fee, as with the pick up in Midlothian. So, a shout out to Laz, Preston who did most of the repair work and Haley who coordinated the work and kept me abreast of the progress and billing. Quality RV Solutions did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it, and when they found additional damage due to the shoddy workmanship done 10months earlier by Motor Home Specialist, amended their estimate - fairly I think - and completed the job in both a workmanlike fashion and for the agreed-upon price. Laz even gave me a written synopsis when they were done of what they found, why it was wrong and how they corrected it The staff at Quality RV Solutions is friendly, helpful and seems genuinely happy at what they do. My RV's check engine light started blinking near Dallas as I was trying to get to Northern California from South Carolina. I got it scanned somewhere close by and the scan said ignition coil and misfire in cylinder 8. I parked the RV at an RV park for the night and called every "mobile repair" company in the brochure. Nobody even answered, let alone came. Next morning I called Quality RV Solutions who assured me they could turn this around same day. A few hours after getting there, they were able to fix what was wrong and even took the time to stress test the vehicle to ensure everything was OK. The final price was more than reasonable considering what they needed to do. I was really impressed by their outstanding customer service and by the quality of the work done. Went to pick up our RV today. BRING your checkbook. We thought the repairs were done and they weren't. They will charge you 3% fee for using your debit or credit card, which can be a lot depending on the repairs and costs. We had to find a bank to get a cashier check. Got back to pay for everything and had to wait about an hour for them to bring our RV to us. Almost home, we got a call they forgot our power cord, caveat, we live almost an hour each way, more if driving on I-35 traffic. We had to drive all the way back to the repair shop. read more

Super friendly - did our annual trailer inspection quickly and efficiently. They have some cute camping swag inside the store.

They say they stand behind their work, but don't believe it. They did a sub-par job on my RV door. The repair unraveled after the warranty period and they threw their hands up. "Not our problem!". I had to take my coach to another repair shop and spent $3,500 to repair the door. When I called Julie, to let her know of their terrible workmanship, she hung up on me. I finally found a great repair shop for my 2000 Monaco Windsor motorhome. I went to the Cleaburn shop and Preston really surpassed all my expectations. I had to get a light switch replaced first of all. It was quite a chore to find a replacement part because of the age of the motorhome, but when they sent him one it would work but it wasn't right when he noticed it was not right he refused to put it in. If he's going to do his job it's going to be done right and that's the kind of attitude Preston and the whole Quality solutions have for RVs, I will never take my RV anywhere else. While taking our fifth wheel to set up For a temporary job we had not one but 2 tire blowouts. We turned around and came back home and found this place after an internet search. We had just gotten out trailer back from a place on 121 that we have used for years but decided after this last check up and maintenance trip- we will not return to them. I called and made an appointment after filing a claim on my insurance and being told to take it to the repair center of my choice. We got there and were met by the wonderful service advisor Ashley who actually got down on the ground and crawled up under the coach to assess the damage. She was very nice and knowledgeable. She even noticed that one of the four new tires we had just gotten was too big. Not sure how long I will have to wait for repairs since it's the busy time of the year but I have faith they will do a great job. read more

I have used Quality RV Solutions 3-4 times now for various repairs on two of my RVs and have been 100% pleased every time. I had my toy hauler in their shop to have some body damage repaired, some generator work done and have a washer/dryer installed. As always, they did outstanding work and communicated to me the status on a regular basis. Most recently, moved into my RV full time and had some issues with my power inlet, which resulted in my coach having no power for about a day. QRV was on-site at the RV park in less than a day to fix my issue at minimal cost. The entire staff has always been very friendly, responsive and do outstanding work. For as long as I am living in the DFW area, I will always use QRV for my RV repairs! read more

We took our camper there for a busted out window. They quoted us $100-$200 and said it would be finished within a week or two weeks at the most. They didn't have it ready until 8 weeks later and charged us $490. Would not recommend this facility to anyone. read more

Based on good reviews and necessity I took my 2005 Holiday Rambler to this shop for generator and electrical issues when traveling from New Mexico back to Austin area. From minute one on the phone with Lisa to Laslo figuring out a not so simple electrical issue, as well as performing much needed maintenance on my genset and main engine, to getting us on our way a week later, these guys rocked it! Even though Lisa isn't a tech, she was extremely knowledgeable about everything the mechanics were figuring out and repairing. And she was extremely professional, kind and kept me up to date during the entire process. Laslo went out of his way to take the extra time to teach me some things about my rv that I've owned for 8 years - superb mechanic and awesome dude. The best service ever. These guys helped me out of a bind while traveling through Texas. Understanding my issue of my trailer being my home, they assessed the problem the next day and had it back to me that afternoon. They were fair, reasonable and very professional. As a woman traveling alone people tend to talk down to me, that did not happen here, and they explained everything in detail and even offered additional advice on other items. Thanks to Quality Mobile RV Repair. They really helped us out of a jam and did excellent work! Our RV Aquahot started to leak fluid out of one of our air exchangers while on our way back to Ga from California, while we were in the middle of nowhere and could not stop the antifreeze from leaking. They were able to fit us into their busy schedule with their trained aguahot tech. He was able to bypass the air exchanger like we needed, top off our fluid so we could use the aquahot so we could have heat (as we were traveling in December) and even cleaned the floors were it had leaked and put back the drawers that were out so we could stuff paper towels to try to stem the leak. Great work, reasonable price and friendly people. Definitely recommend if you are in the area. read more

I spent thousands of dollars for repairs on my 5th wheel. I would take the rv into a 'local rv repair' in or near our town Mansfield, Tx. Pay thousands for the repair. Pull the rv to my covered parking. Then spend hours and hours chasing the 'so called' repairs to ensure the job was done. Then I'd finish the job. Many times I'd have to take the rv back begging the place to finish a repair. Multiple times I found tools the 'tech' left in my rv. Like an idiot I would return the tools. I accidentally found Quality RV Solutions. The agony of being ripped off stopped. They did what they said they would do. If I had a question or if I felt the job was not correct, they'd listen, tell me to bring the unit in. Carefully go over my concerns. Not one time did they have to redo/finish an incomplete repair. Being a single female traveler, when the van breaks down I have to heavily rely on Yelp reviews to find a trustworthy repair shop. I was skeptical finding this one because there was only one review on Yelp - even though it was a great review! So I found more on google and on their personal site and decided to give them a try. SOOO happy that I did!! These guys blew me away with their friendliness, prices and the work they did on my van. They asked me if there was anything else I wanted them to look at instead of coming at me with a list of things wrong like a lot of repair places. I can't say enough great things about Quality Mobile RV Repair. Lazslo and his team went way above and beyond to take care of the warranty work on our 2015 Redwood 39MB. It will be 2 years in August, that we became full time RV'ers. With new things, ie.. cars, houses, etc..., we knew we would have some minor problems. We have taken our coach to ExploreUSA where we bought it 5 or 6 times, at our expense, to get these items fixed to no avail. When we finally got with the right people at Redwood, they said we could have a mobile company come to us to perform the work. Redwood recommended Quailty Mobile RV Repair. Laszlo drove 1.5 hrs to get to us, took pictures and videos of the problems with the awnings, closet doors, kitchen sink, and a few other minor problems, ordered the parts. He kept us informed of the progress of the parts and when everything arrived, he scheduled a time to complete the work. It took him about 2 to 2 5 hours to fix, what we have been fighting to get fixed in almost 2 years! His team is professional, clean and trustworthy. I took my RV there for service on a recommendation. My service writer was Lisa. I had damaged my slide-out and needed it fixed. I explained to Lisa that I didn't want to use my insurance and was going to pay cash. I left it and was told she would get back to me with an estimate. Several days went by and she contacted me and gave me the estimate and sent me one by email. When I was told about the cost, I was totally shocked! There were items on there that I didn't want fixed and she knew that so why they were there I don't know . I told them to go ahead and fix just the items I originally specified. Covid-19 was going on and I understood this. So I expected it to be a little slow. My point here is that I would call and leave messages and not get call backs for some time. When I did, the response was always that the parts were ordered. Finally, I got tired of this communication issue with Lisa and contacted the owner. Explained the issue to him and he told me he would look into it. After that day, it seemed like I got weekly reports which was great and all I wanted. Finally my RV was ready for pick up. Went over there not expecting anything such as a discount or anything, but was HOPING to at least get an apology from them (LISA) on the communications issue. I GOT NOTHING FROM THEM! As for the repair, it looks ok. I'm sorry but I would not recommend this business to anyone! read more

Laszlo and Derek's work ethic and expertise was very evident the first day they showed up to evaluate our list of RV issues. When they returned on Wednesday to complete the list, it was efficient and greatly appreciated. Upon showing Laszlo the glass pane coming loose on a cabinet door not only did he fix this one, he ensured the remaining cabinet door glass panes would remain securely anchored when travelling down the road. Both he and Derek went above and beyond by thinking ahead to respond to a current issue and perform additional effort as well. Both were pleasant and conversational but didn't let our talking distract them from completing the tasks to finish the job. Based on reviews I brought my trailer to here to have repairs done. I had a black tank leak, window was coming off and refrigerator not working. Extended warranty covered the black tank and that was it. Cool no problem. Paid for them to clean the under shield and replace a pad. That was done but 3 bolts are missing that hold the waste water pipe. When I picked up the trailer there was mud in the trailer and when I opened up my side storage everything fell out because it was too hard to put everything back the correct way like I had it they just shoved it all back in there and shut the door. batteries were dead would not charge when I hooked up the 7 pin to my truck and on shore power. They did take care of that for me. He was kind enough to eat a battery and replace it for me. Thanks for that. After keeping my RV in storage for about two weeks I pick it up and turn the fridge on, works. Get it home doesn't work. I went through over ten fuses through the course of the weekend and finally can get it stable where it's at. Called quality RV to express my issues and was not able to come to a solution. "Claimed" they spent over 2 hours to diagnose my refrigerator when I brought it there for the first time but only decided to charge me 1 hour ($130) and replace the fuse. Now states "oh well you didn't tell me it was while it was moving". Doesn't matter I PAID them to fix my fridge and not just put a fuse in. Obviously there was no real diagnosis done because I duplicated it all weekend. They just kept butting heads with me telling me oh well I had something like this and it was just a fuse or they are made in China so there are cheap. What does that have to do with MY trailer. I don't care where it's made or if you had this issue with someone else. So now I have to take it somewhere else to get it fixed and pay another $100 deductible for extended warranty if it's even covered. Definitely will not be bringing my trailer there ever again. read more
