PLEASE BE AWARE. As others have said. I had to give one star cause they don't have a zero. Took my Ultra to find out why it wasn't running properly. Told them I thought it was the ECM. Did my own research. They never called to give updates. After calling them, they said there was a bend valve and had to send the head(s) to a third party shop for repair. To get an update I called and was told they broke a bolt and didn't mention the bent valve, and they were still waiting for the head(s) to be repaired. Took them three weeks and again I had to call to get updates. Once they finally reassembled the bike it still wasn't running properly and wanted me to come pick it. After arriving at the shop I noticed they broke both antennas off and the leather on the seat buttons was scraped off down to raw metal. After holding my bike hostage for three months they couldn't help me find the parts to fix my bike and charged me $1,958.00 for nothing. He went above and beyond to make sure that I got what I needed and that all necessary parts were in the box (I bought the last box - a display box). I'm only giving them one star because I don't know enough about them, given that my experience was brief. I walked into the parts/accessories area looking to upgrade the headlights on my Road King. There was an employee sitting at the counter looking at a computer screen. He didn't acknowledge that I was there, much less ask me if he could help me find something. I looked around the accessories area briefly and didn't see any headlights, etc., so I walked to the counter and asked what they had in the way of headlights. The guy didn't look up from his screen and just said, "We don't carry headlights." He then mumbled something about "too many of them." And then refocused his full attention to his screen. I started to apologize for interrupting his important work, but.... It my be the closest HD dealership to me but it won't be my dealership. read more

If you want to resell anything to this dealership, I saw beware. I was misled by their finance personnel and ended up paying an extra month of insurance on something that I did not have. On top of that, I was told that there would be an 800 to 900 dollar difference being refunded to me. Needless to say, another untruth, it was 113. They come across sincere and helpful, I would not sell nor buy anything from people like this. Their sales personnel were very good, as is usually the case till you run into the finance personnel. As a newbie I went into Stampede Harley with the intention of getting a little bit of an education. When I walked in I found the showroom clean and with a good selection of bikes. However, not once was I acknowledged, or approached or even given a nod for the 10 minutes I wandered around. Staff was talking to each other, laughing and joking however, I did not seem like much of a priority. As a man in my late 50s, about to retire and with good income you would think that I might be a priority however, I left without speaking to a person. Looks like I will be looking elsewhere. I brought my bike in just to have a sissy bar installed because it had to be drilled out. The bike was running awesome and when I went to pick it up. The transmission was stuck in first gear. I drove it there so there was nothing wrong with it. It took over $2500.00 to fix my bike. Would never go there again. I don't recommend the place plus they told me nothing about what they had done. I have the pieces they broke sitting at home. DON'T GO THERE. read more

I live in Cleburne, Tx, there is no motorcycle service company anywhere around for simple tasks like oil changes and normal maintenance. I rode over to Stampede Harley-Davidson, walked in to find 2 service advisors sitting at their desk. I inquired as to the availability for an oil change, I was informed that Stampede does not do any walk-in maintenance. I made an appointment for the following Wednesday at 1PM for an oil change. On that day I arrived at 12:45pm and the service advisor (Russell) informed me (my mechanic) was running way behind. Why is he behind when I made an appointment? I filled out my service request stating I wanted an oil change with a chrome oil filter. This service which by the most inexperienced mechanic can take 20 to 30 minutes, I was stuck at Stampede for over 2 hours (from 12:45PM until 3:15PM) they installed a black oil filter (not what I asked for), then it was time for the bill, for the 2.5 hours I was there, the bill was $122.50. On top of that, they misplaced my keys, I had to return the next day to pick them up. If you want your time wasted, the wrong parts installed, and be overcharged then Stampede is your dealership of choice. I, on the other hand will never set foot in this dealership again. The general rule at Harley-Davidson dealerships is poor service, disinterested sales people and ignoring customers, this dealership does nothing to dispel that description. read more

You know, Ive seen alot of negative reviews about this dealership and the shop. But that was not my experience dear readers. The guy I spoke to handled my issue without making me feel like a complete troglodyte because I thought I could fix an issue with my Roadglide on my own. Plus, they didnt even over charge me when they cleary could have because...well...Im an idiot. But they did not make me feel way. This is by far the worst dealership to go to. They have no sense of customer service. They are racist to anyone who is of a different color. The only time they will help you is when you are buying a bike. I bought my bike from them since I live in Burleson I thought it would be a lovely experience. A couple of days after buying the bike I had an issue with the motorcycle and they didn't even bother to call me or text me to update me about what is going on. I had to call the main Harley Davidson in Milwaukee to get answers from stampede. That alone should tell you how much they aggravated me. Their general manger Merle does not keep his word. This place is not managed at all. I will never be doing business with these folks and will not recommend anyone else to do business here. When I pick up my bike the whole shop was frowning at me and the next day I took it to another dealership to get it check out. Found out they did a poor job on my bike and the service tech mentioned to me that it was dangerous riding the bike due o loose components. read more

Took my bike here to get the neck bearings checked out on a Friday and was told we'll get you by Tuesday. No contact tue, wed, thur, so I pop in on Friday. "Oh we were gonna get to it today." They had the bike for an entire week and not only cant get to it but cant notify me either. Your customer service SUCKS and you put a bad light on the Harley brand. I took the bike from here the, 2nd Harley dealer, down to Thunder Alley in Joshua on Friday. They tell me the will get to it by Tuesday and end up calling my later the same day saying the bike is ready.. Unless you crave excuses and just want someone to hold your bike for extended periods with no contact I would go elsewhere... read more

The staff at Stampede HD are all very friendly. Wendy in Motorclothes is very knowledgeable and helpful to me and my wife. The guys in service have been very responsive and helpful as well. For a small dealership, Stampede does a good job and the employees all seem to care about you, the customer. read more

Went over there on 3/10/18 approximately 12:15PM. Had two objectives. 1. Wanted some info on the new Road King, as I might be up for a trade were the deal right. 2. I collect t shirts, and wanted one from here to round out my Texas collection. Walked in. Was not greeted at all, As is usual in every other dealership I've been to. Wandered over to the clothes area and found the t shirt racks. Could not find my size or the color I wanted. No motorclothes associate to be seen. Then wandered over to the new motorcycles on the showroom floor. I figured surely a sales associate would soon walk up to me, never happened. There were plenty of people there's who looked like they were attending an event, don't know. Waited for a few more minutes then left. My observation is that I shouldn't have to find someone from a dealership to spend my money with. I guess if you are close to this place, OK. If you travel to this place, I'd suggest going somewhere else read more

Stampede continues to be a mess of a dealership. My husband had a nail in his tire so he took it to stampede due to it being under warranty. It was an easy fix, they charged $50 for the deductible and we moved on. 2 months later he gets a very rude phone call stating that they have been trying to contact him since he picked up the bike and he owes them almost $500 for a new tire and the labor. He has had no missed calls or voicemails, and we had a copy of the invoice showing where he paid the $50 and that was all that was due. The service person there told him he was wrong and needed to pay the bill in full because he did not have any warranty at all. My husband had to leave work to go home and get all of the paperwork showing the coverage dates, what was covered and proving that we did in fact have coverage. The service man was still rude and even after showing him all of this still wanted him to pay. My husband declined and left, the service man later called and said don't worry about it everything is taken care of. These employees are not doing their jobs and they are harassing customers over nothing. Stay away from this dealership if at all possible. I am appalled at the way my husband was treated by them. read more
