These guys have my business!! Honest, helpful, & knowledgeable bike shop. I won't go anywhere else for work done on my bike. Thought I needed my rear brake replaced. They got me in same day, but after taking a look, they advised my brake was just fine. While looking over the bike, they also noticed my front tire (which had been replaced elsewhere) bead hadn't been set properly. They corrected the issue right away. It's hard to find a shop that can do anything from an oil or tire change up to major repairs and do it well. They have worked on our Harley and also saved us a lot on accessories. We like that they are willing to special order stuff for us too. Eric, the owner, is very knowledgable and makes helpful suggestions. He also does custom stuff and rat rods. My husband is really picky about quality and he says he'll never take his bikes anywhere else again! We plan to check out the next classic car and cycle show they host from time to time. read more

I tried to find a shop for my wrecked motorcycle. Upon calling around I came across this shop and began to tell them about my bike accident and potential damages. Eric the owner, shared interest in my story and in fixing my bike. After hearing the interest he had in helping me I took my bike to his shop the following weekend. When I arrived he began to give me a rough estimate which was actually way more than it should have been after looking up the parts for myself. He also began to tell me he had about 60 bikes in his shop at the time. I now know why he has more bikes than he should. They are slow to get to your bike due to parties they shut their shop down early for. I left my bike there unaware of their work ethic at the time. After a week and a couple days they still did not contact me. So I called once, just to get an estimated time of completing a simple ESTIMATE. The lady on the phone was being smart with me stating "have you received a call? No? Then it's not done" so I got upset and let it go. My insurance, NEEDING AN ESTIMATED TIME OF COMPLETION, kept calling me to ask what's going on. So I called a second time a few days later. The women was so rude and I told her I need an estimated time of completion even if it was weeks from now. As we ended the phone call. Eric, the owner, had given me a call back saying I had to come pick up my bike due to excessive calling... excessive calling? I called twice, in TWO weeks and apparently I was calling too much. Then he began to say he doesn't want to mess with the bike and get caught up in insurance problems, as if I was implying insurance fraud. I felt disrespected and I felt that they couldn't have been anymore unprofessional. Needless to say they let emotion over rule business, and I do not ever recommend going through this shop for any type of repair. They take their sweet time and if you call twice you are going to pick up your bike due to a hissy fit. Definitely do not take a bike to them through insurance, they clearly do not know how to go about it correctly. Thanks but no thanks Swifty's. Focus more on bike work than parties In the back, and refrain from drinking beer at work, during business hours, in-front of customers. read more

This is a long review but please read it. YOU WONT BE SORRY! I own a 1984 Kawasaki ZN1100 that had been in storage for 20 years when it was given to me. Needless to say it had many problems. There are 4 cycle repair shops within 3 miles of my home yet I chose (this time) to go to Swifty's who is 25 miles away. The first shop I took it to is Monkey Wrench Cycle off of E. Lancaster and was quoted a price of $500.00 and a time of 5 days. $1800.00 Dollars and 5 WEEKS later even though he wasn't finished with the repairs I just asked the guy to give me my bike back and was told that he had lost the key (and my bike ran WORSE than when I had left it!) After being burned so bad I just let it sit for another 2 years until a friend suggested that I talk to Eric at Swifty's. Eric was friendly and professional. The amount he (originally) quoted seemed a little high but I decided to take a chance. 7 days later (7 days sooner than I was quoted) I received a call from Eric and was told my bike was ready and that the price was almost HALF of what I was Quoted! I couldn't be happier. Just a few suggestions if you decide to leave you bike with Swifty's.1- don't call everyday and ask "Is my bike ready yet"? They are a growing business and are VERY busy, leave em alone and let em work. 2- If Eric makes a suggestion about parts or repairs take it. He could have "Up Sold' me to the moon but he didn't. 3- If you're not happy with something BE NICE about it. My experience with the guys at Swifty's is that they really want their customers to be happy. Lastly...I'm not writing this review because I expect any kind of favors or discounts, I am writing it because of all of the bad experiences I've had in the past with dealers and repair shops. These days a good motorcycle mechanic is worth his weight in diamonds and Eric and his crew have restored my faith in the "small" businessman! Look out for each other and be safe out there. read more
