I've had Mr Motorcycle work on all my bikes for the past 10 years +. They have been nothing short of professional with me. Mike, the owner is very sharp, knows his way around just about any bike out there. They have always been quick to diagnose my issues, and with a full shop, have tried their very best to get my bike back to me quickly. The shop has that old school vibe, you won't find a fancy waiting area here, or tvs set up to sit around. The front show room staff have that good ole boy vibe, and will make sure that if they don't have the part I'm looking for, they will find it for me. The building is a little older, easy access from 2 streets, and a quick turn around on oil changes and tire jobs. Don't listen to the bad reviews on here, people have bad days, and nobody is perfect. If you want a shop that has the parts in stock, especially for older models, can do the service work at an honest price, then this is the shop for you. If you want the fancy waiting room, with couches and coffee machines, then go to the stealership and expect to pay more than twice the price. ​ read more

Dropped ATV off after Thanksgiving expecting a phone call for an estimate for repairs. Never heard anything a week later, so I used their "text" system. Finally got a message saying "give us a week." Called multiple times to check the status, never got a call back. Finally went to pick it up and discovered that my ATV was buried behind 10 other vehicles, motorcycles, etc. Then not only that, they left the key on, so the battery was shot. The guy goes "we didn't even think it ran so we've been pushing it everywhere." After pushing it across the street to load it on the trailer, I decided to put jumper cables to it from my car to see if it was just the battery at this point. A 1986 Honda does NOT have a CDI, so this won't fry it. At that point, one of the denizens of this establishment comes out yelling "hey you're gonna fry your CDI doing it that way!" My response: "nah man, I'm good. Trust me... yall have already done enough." read more

This place is a joke the guys are rude and entitled they don't know crap about bikes they try to scam and do sketchy stuff to your bike so it can run while it's there so they can take your money DO NOT GO TO THAT SHOP AT ALL read more

Ordered online through them and before the part was shipped out they called to make sure it was the correct item I was wanting to purchase. Package arrived 2 days later. The part that arrived did not fit the motorcycle and with no questions asked they sent us another one with the right measurements. They had great communication. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for motorcycle parts!! read more

This company totally wrecked my like new BMW motorcycle rim in a feeble attempt to change a tire. The worker admitted he used carb cleaner to remove the wheel weights on the rim and deeply scored the finish. He blamed it on the powder coating job. The rim was a $1500.00 factory part. The stench of old fuel was thick in the air of the shop and unfortunately evidence that all the employees and Mr. Motorcycle himself have more than likely suffered serious brain damage from continued exposure to toxic chemicals. They have no idea that they are incapable of reason and more than likely will prematurely contract cancer and die a miserable early death. The blank stare another customer observed was a result of the breathing in toxic levels of chemicals for an extended period of time. The workers or Mr. Motorcycle did not offer to pay for the damaged part nor did they admit any responsibility. It cost me personally over $1,700.00 to fix the damage. Very nice guy showed up got my motorcycle to the shop in a very timely matter. Prices are pretty reasonable to.

The Pros My bike was up and running back to functional capability in charging and starting with converged diagnostics and a mechanic that knows the technical knowledge. Mike has been very well in touch and towed my bike to his shop since I was not able to bring my bike myself. He and I converged on what the bike really needed in the work done. The Bad The shop discipline. After the bike was done and running with verified working aspects, I had to pick up the metal pieces on the floor in the way while he was moving my bike back outside with new tires that Mr Motorcycle Recycler had put in. My almost unmarred pipes now sat with divets and indents that seem to be exacerbated by the use of a power drill and a wire brush wheel that may have caused such marring to try and rectify usages by a tool that was used to loosen the rear axle for removal that left hairline scratches. The person who may have thought the "shining method" may work, may have made it worse and did not want to bring this up at all. The secondary mechanic was quick to blame my saddlebag implementation of which I came in thereafter and shown to Mike himself that this was not possible at all. I even had photos of my previous bike state which he wanted to quickly dismiss because it wasn't his phone camera. There was also a chromed nut that was chipped as well as part of the power tool removal process, due to the quick unseated use of the socket at hand and overpowered settings in the socket not being seated well before usages of the tool. Even if the damage was not done intentionally, it was done while the bike was not in my care while in this shop. It is a shame because my bike is no longer in make and seldom there are replacement parts anymore. I worry about the now divoted and scratched exhaust pipe now being more prime for corrosion over the still useful life of the bike, all because of this discipline in using unclean rags to protect the pipes while the mechanics used the wrench. This would not take that much time at all if the proper breather in mentality was taken. I tried to reason with Mike, the owner and talked with Joe about this. Both were either unable to give who did so amongst their tool discipline. There was another mechanic that simply stood back and saw while I picked up the metal fragments off the ground while the bike was wheeled out. The Concern The shop seemed resource strained in many disrespected parts and bikes. It seems that this is a shop for people to toss away their toys once abused and this shop has to put up with the glut. It shows to me the culture behind this shop and the mechanics involved AS WELL AS the riders who come into the shop. Good understanding but even such work still needs considerate care in the actions of maintenance and repair. This is not a culture one would want to paint of people riding on the roads if bikes come out of a shop that isn't well cared for, as nuts and bolts and parts are cluttered. The bolts for my seat were mismatched as well when the mechanic forgot to put them back into place, then reminded, then used a completely different set of bolts. I know my bike did not come into the shop very dirty, but when I came up to my bike when the shop said it was ready, it wasn't even readily cleaned and cared for. If this is the considerate trades that have been taught out of school, I worry about the Metroplex's small shop owners. They may exacerbate a culture that would have people always at the side of the roads in neglect, much like the bike's shop front of once well bikes but still in disrepair because someone before did not care either. And because my bike had a few scratches here and there already makes no excuse to add more. It is not a contest of who can add more tattoos on a bike... It shows me all I need to know how this small shop respects and relates to the customer. --- Take this concern in kind. read more

I went to see how much the cost would be to install a new front tire on my Sportster, since mine had a nail in it. I walked in and there was one customer standing at the counter and a man behind the counter. The other customer seemed to be waiting for something and the man behind the counter was literally just standing behind the counter. I walked around the showroom for a few minutes then walked up to the counter and stood. I've been a store manager so I think it's telling how a business treats and interacts with customers. The man behind the counter didn't say anything to me, just stood there with a blank look on his face. I didn't say anything because I wanted to see how long it would take to be acknowledged. After about 3 minutes of weird but comical silence, I said loud enough for them to hear me, "Holy fuckin shit," and walked out. If this business cannot even do the little things like greet or interact with customers, I can't trust them to work on my bike. Maybe it was an isolated incident, but I'll never give this place my business. read more

I had a great experience at Mr Motorcycle Recycler. They've performed quality work on my moto for the lowest prices after calling up a dozen place. It definitely isn't the fanciest shop I've been to but the most candid and valuable service place for motorcycles. It's also cool they got a QT walking distance where you can grab food and drinks while you wait. read more

I came in late, they were closed. Lights on so I knocked the owner came to the door I explained my situation he gladly let me in and proceed to help me kindly answering all my questions. He was very nice even though I was making him late for something. Overall very nice man I will use them again as my first choice in future for any of my bike needs. Thank for your help read more

If you are looking for the MOST HONEST and hardworking motorcycle shop in DFW, these guys are your answer. I brought in my 1982 Suzuki GS650L knowing that it would be a bit of a hassle to get back on the road. It had been sitting for about a year since it's last ride due to carburetor issues, electrical issues, and just an overall lack of knowledge on my end of being able to fix it. These guys went above and beyond to help get me back on the road. They were honest and more than fair with their prices and were willing to help me along the way when things popped up. There was no BS, no run around, no attitude (except a good one), and no one told me it wasn't worth my time or to buy a new bike like I had heard from so many other shops. Please support this business as the level of honesty and fairness that the men who run this shop have is so very hard to find these days. I will be bringing my bike back every time I need ANYTHING until I either leave DFW or they close their doors. PS: they have over 1 MILLION parts IN HOUSE so you won't have to wait for parts to be shipped, a lot of the time, nor will you have to deal with huge markups on brand new parts. read more
