They picked my 22 Pan America in for a multiple codes and limp mode issues. I live an hour away. Had it in the shop for a few days tracing down the issue. Turns out I had a faulty rear cam phase wire. Unfortunately, I am out of warranty with only 3100 miles on my bike. Maverick service team stepped up, got it fixed and sorted it out with Harley Corporate. On this #thankyouthursday I am selecting the wonderful staff at Mavericks. I needed to buy a last minute gift and arrived at their location 15 minutes before closing. The staff outside busy moving all the bikes to the front greeted us and welcomed us into the store. The ladies inside gave us suggestions and helped me pick out the best gifts. This type of friendly helpful customer service is worth mentioning, and very rare so minutes before closing. And for the cherry on top they wrapped my purchases so nicely and ready to deliver. This review is for the service department For reference I am going to mention below how much it costs me to do an oil change for my 4,750 lb SUV along with other top ups and multipoint inspections, calibrations etc. 6.6 quarts of premium synthetic oil plus other fluid top ups and adjustments - at my local mechanic it costs me $60 including labor and parts/oil etc. keep in mind it is for a 4,750 lb 4 wheel drive SUV. Even if I did this at the dealership it wouldn't cost me more than $125 all included Now similar work was done on my 2022 fat boy for the 1,000 miles service. Apparently it needs 7 quarts of oil for an 1,870cc V twin engine while my 4,000 cc V6 engine only needs 6.6 quarts at $55 while it is a whopping $125 for my motorcycle just for oil. I was at the dealership for barely 2 hours. Even if the "super experienced, highly qualified" technician worked on my bike for 2 hours (which I seriously doubt) I do-not understand why I was charged 3 hours of labor ($131/hour) - $393 - a mind boggling charge for labor to do an oil change and inspections - the billing person gave me a bullshit answer about how they charge based on the experience level of the tech - i was in a tearing hurry to get to my family else I would have sat down to understand in more detail or at least ask to speak to the service department manager but given how I have been treated the last few times I visited the dealership I knew it would be a waste of time I know owning and maintaining a Harley is not cheap, but $600 for a frigging oil change? That's daylight robbery and highway robbery (I-35 to be precise) That said, I now know never to do any maintenance or modifications at this dealership (plenty of customizations in the offing). My next hogs, a Panamerica, & a Street Glide will have to be purchased from another Harley dealership - if they turn out to be no different I will just have to shift to another brand - that will be sad but unavoidable if this is how Harley dealerships blatantly lie and steal from customers. read more

The techs there are pretty good. Tripp is EXCELLENT! The rest of the dealership is sorely lacking. Most of the time when you call service they won't answer. Leave a message and they do not return the call. I've had several thousands of dollars in warranty service done there. The last time there they didn't finish the job even though they were paid in advance. I still have NOT heard a word from them since. I've taken my bike to Texoma now and they are much more attentive. They keep me informed very well. read more

For the past year and a 1/2 I've had a problem with acceleration over 2000 RPM and my motorcycle would lag and backfire. Brought my 20 road glide to Maverick HD to have the 20000 mile service done on it.. Talked to the tech about the problem with acceleration and he checked it.. and found a spark plug wire was burnt all the way through. I've had my motorcycle looked at several times over the last 1.5 years and this is the 1st time anybody's found anything wrong with it.. so I'm giving Maverick Harley Davidson and Technician Tom kudos for finding the elusive problem.. Since I rode my entire childhood I was excited we might try motorcycles together... instead, they kicked him out of class for not doing an activity fast enough. A BEGINNER course needs to let riders learn at their own pace - not send you home early if you struggle on an exercise. Unreal. Now this friend has to reconsider or look elsewhere. A solid (rich) future customer lost for good. Grow the sport - not crush beginners by kicking them out! Only 2 advanced to the afternoon in the entire class. This is now my favorite dealership in the world. Came in Saturday after my primary plug came out, losing all the fluid. Dane pulled my 2018 Street Glide straight in for inspection. Derrick pulled it apart, discovering a totaled tension shoe and a ruined primary chain. Cleaned all debris, installed new parts and had bike ready for the road in less than 90 minutes. CJ, the very helpful salesman, assured me that if they couldn't fix it he could put me a new ride. I explained it had to be blue and he didn't have one on the floor. I wanted to leave a review a few weeks ago but just did not get to it. Everyone at Maverick has been very nice to deal with. I have bought merchandise, parts and services. So I can say that all interactions have been top notch. I recently picked up a 2024 SG about 4 months ago. Unfortunately, from another dealer in the DFW area. There was a specific reason why that I won't bore you with. Had I known about the great folks at Maverick, I would have bought it here. Next bike for sure!! I have done a lot of customization to the bike, including a Stage 2 SE Cam kit(being done as I write this), all of which has been done at Maverick. Big shout out to Dane, who is the Assistant Service Manager and just a good dude!! He knows customer service for sure. He has always been consistent in what he tells you and what actually gets done by the techs. All the techs that have touched my bike have done a good job. I am sure the Stage 2/1000 mile service will be the same result! I use to do a lot of my own wrenching on other bikes that I have had but just don't have time for the bigger stuff these days. That being said, I am picky and anal about how things get done and so far no complaints. If I call Dane with a question, he always takes the time to answer all of them. Filled out an online appraisal for trade in value and was told $10,200 low to $12,800 high and possibly more. Set an appointment to have appraisal done in person. When I got there the service person commented "they don't see many bikes that model in that good condition " after wasting an hour of my time some little sawed off Chewbaka looking guy came and offered me $9,400. Completely false advertising do not trust any online price they send you. I provided a correct vin number and mileage, the condition speaks for itself as they don't see bikes that model in such good condition. A complete scam and waste of time . Bait and switch at its finest!!! Update I did sell the bike to another dealership without trade in for $11,200 which was in line with the online offer from Maverick that wasn't honored. Confirming that the price was a low ball offer and the online offer was a ploy to lure you into the dealership. read more

Came out to Dallas to visit some family for Thanksgiving week. My dad and brother in law both had some business at the shop. So I tagged along, naturally something caught my eye. Before I knew it I purchased a 2021 Sport Glide from the team. Glenn and Britt both assisted with the sale. I honestly can't say enough good things about these guys. Both were incredibly knowledgeable and helped put any purchase anxiety I had at ease. "Hollywood" the finance guy was also stellar and gave me a killer deal. This shop was incredibly upfront and honest with everything and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I cannot recommend choosing this location over other local dealers enough. I purchased my first motorcycle from this dealer Oct 2023 a brand new nightster the service at the time of sale with Julio was very good.However the bike started to have issues throttle left me stranded,bike would start,warning light keeps turning on,service department has the bike for 1 week they don't give you follow up call when the bike is ready(if you expect follow thru with the sale go somewhere else service here is null none existent.I raised my concerns about the multiple issues the new motorcycle was giving me.Sales manager Pedro stated I'll let the General manager Kevin know.To my surprise general manager stated they can't do anything reach out to Harley Davidson customer service.Lip service is free you'll get a lot of that in this place the ball being passed from person to person.To add insult to injury on the third time bringing the bike in they did the 1000 mile service without my approval(I must of been sleep walking )there concern is to sale you the bike and move on .Needless to say I'll probably get a banal response from someone below stating to reach out STAY AWAY. read more

Zero stars. This place has the worst customer service. Three people were behind the counter doing absolutely nothing (actually one was on the phone just listening to someone) with only one young man helping a couple who appeared to be adding more and more to their purchase probably to use their Harley points. I don't blame them or the young man at the register. I do blame Naomi, Tom Orlando, and Fabio, each of whom blew off the unwillingness to get customers checked out and on their way and actually found it funny (After I complained, Naomi joined in at the register and eventually another girl who was on the phone for 10 minutes got off the phone and rang someone up). Tom even boasted that "Naomi is the best," but he obviously was not talking about her job as manager. At least 10 people waiting in line with three extra people behind the counter is ridiculous. When I asked for the owner's name, Tom Orlando said it was Chris Calhoun. WRONG. If you look it up online, the owners are Alfred Keeling and Maritia Keeling. Calhoun is a partner. So... this is to the Keelings and to Chris Calhoun: I have been in customer service management for over 30 years. This was unacceptable. Also, people should be given the owner's name when they ask for it, including the phone number where this person can be contacted. I've never met an owner who did not want to be aware of situations like this that make their companies look bad. If they are stellar employees, you have much bigger issues than today's occurrence at 3 PM. Fabio and Tom made sure they parted with the words, "It's been nice talking to you" each in a saccharin tone. It made them look ridiculous. read more

I brought my bike in to replace the radio in my road glide. 1.5 hr. job according to the service department. 5 hours later they brought my bike out the faring was not correctly reinstalled and then had the nerve to tell me that they had to take the windshield off and reinstalled it incorrectly as well. They did not realize that I know that was not true. But they just say bullshit thinking we don't know how our bikes are put together. The bottom line is they said it was as good as it gets. Really these losers that run the place and the incompetent mechanics just to fuck people over. I actually talked to the sales manager Big Lou well he is a loser too. My warning to all is to go somewhere else. You do not see BMW or Japanese shops put up with incompetence why should Harley riders read more

I've been friends with many employees and customers that continue shopping here for the last 6 years. I can for sure tell you Jeannine H. is unrealistic in her expectations. "30 years experience in customer service" and she doesn't understand that a customer on the phone is still a customer. Holiday season is the busiest time for these dealers so a short wait to buy your loved ones gifts really isn't a big deal lol. Chris Calhoon is an owner so her "fact check" is incorrect also, the Calhoons are very much involved and very much owners. So moving on, I've purchased 3 bikes from these guys. They have all types of fashion of course, gift sets, sun glasses, door mats, backpacks and more! Feel free to have some popcorn while you look around the store in addition on the weekends grab a drink! They had a little bar set up "tips only" with beer & liquor! I sure did have some popcorn and a little something to sip on! The manager was super nice as she wrapped my gift and I got a lot of help from the sales lady on the floor as she helped me pick out my dad's gift! Writing our review again since our last one was deleted. We bought a bike mid March '21 and we still don't have our registration and title. All the excuses they have given us since end of March: it's taking longer because Covid, my girl (Scott in Finance calls her) that does the registration and title is only here once a week, waiting on DMV, the title has the wrong mileage and they have to get the previous owner to correct it, have to send back to DMV. I drove from California to Dallas in a Uhaul truck with my Harley motorcycle strapped in back. Upon arriving to Dallas I realized my bikes Vance and Hines exhaust had come loose and was completely disconnected from the frame and missing bolts. Knowing no one in Dallas I choose to try and take my bike to this Harley dealership and see if they could help me with the bike. Upon arriving I was greeted by Jason at the service desk, I told him my situation. He unloaded the bike with me in 100 degree Dallas heat, took it into the shop, found replacement bolts and screws and attached my pipes to the frame. I couldn't believe it, this guy went so far out of his way to help me and expected nothing in return but a handshake. I recently purchased a street glide from an individual. I took it in to the shop on Saturday. Freebird took the time to look the bike over, recommended a few things and rear brakes. He offered a full check over and check all things are tight and ok at no charge. He didn't try to push anything I didn't need, in fact he suggested I hold off until I had more miles to Change the oil.
