Buying the bike was easy, that part was great. But I purchased the warranty, not even a year the air shock was out. Not even riding a yr, was told they did an inspection before sold it. So I took it in for warranty work, was in the shop for over a month. No call for updates, I had to call several times and at times no answer or no call back. Finally I was told warranty will not cover the shock, and they was waiting for parts to fix the other stuff. Which was 5 dollar grommets and rough idling, so even after that was fixed I still had to keep calling to get updates and nothing. So I just went up there and it was just sitting in the showroom. Experience wasn't great. Team was attentive guy named Gabe and finance guy named Darrel so I will say that but obviously when you are trying to get a sale that happens. Oh and they threw in the gap and warrants without even asking me first. I addressed it luckily. ordered a bike from out of state (not ideal) bike got here and is in very rough shape (i was assured before hand it wasn't in bad shape) every thing is nicked and dinged or is rusted paint chips missing lots screws are stripped. I also asked if the bike had been dropped and i was told no. Well the crash bar and giant chunk on the primary would say other wise. Pic below. Battery has already died and I can't get the screw out to connect to a tinder. Oh and there was sharpie on a chip from the caliper... I asked them questions about the shape of the bike and I was assured that it was top notch. I feel like i was duped. What i paid for the bike is no where near what i would have paid had i known it was in such bad shape. Yeah. this place is terrible but would recommend disclosing some of these things to the person buying even if that means not potentially getting the sale. also not making excuses like low turns and other lame justifications for what you all did. I'm now locked into a bike that's isn't worth much. When I texted them they didn't try to make it right at all. I don't recommend purchasing from out of state or at all for that matter read more

Recently bought a bike at Lucky Penny and was quite happy with the experience. They have a good selection of used Harleys . Found a low mileage cream puff at a fair price . The employees are very friendly and not pushy. We worked with Gabriel whom I'd highly recommend dealing with. One nice thing is their "dealer prep" cost is about a third of what their parent store across the street charges. In addition , the fact that they clean the bike up, fill up the tank and have it out front with a congratulatory sign is a nice touch as well ! If your in the market for a used Harley , I'd give them a serious look . One note though , as previous reviews have stated , they like to slip in extra charges like the extended warranty ( 1800 .00 ) but if your sharp you'll catch it so buyer be ware. I still recommend them , just be savvy and know they're out to make money, that's their job, yours is to protect yourself , it's all part of the game. read more

Recently purchased a Suzuki GSX. They have a good selection of bikes, cruisers, sports, touring, etc. Our salesperson was Max and he was VERY helpful and not at all overbearing like some salesman. The process was smooth. We went in late on a Wednesday evening, they stayed past closing hours to finalize everything and we went first thing Thursday morning to pick up the bike. Mary in the finance department was also very helpful. In regards to the reviews I have read, the extended warranty was added to the purchase, but she clearly explained the additional cost and what the warranty covered beforehand, so no surprises here. As a buyer it is up to you to ask questions, but they were upfront and continually asked if I had any questions. We had to put gas because it was low, but I am confident if I would have addressed this they would have handled it. Great team, go see them! read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY and DO NOT trust Donnie, salesperson, on anything he says. I submitted an application on used Harley on a Saturday (they are closed on Monday and Tuesday) found on Tuesday (when they opened) that I was approved for my loan with more money down ( no problem). I noticed they had added an extended warranty for service and tire and wheels along with GAP insurance. I was only going to finance $ 6,000 so there was no need are all these added cost. I instructed them to remove them and I was given my payment amount and terms from Donnie was waiting for the final paperwork for TWO DAYS and my salesperson, Donnie, kept telling me we are waiting on the lender with constant text communication ( that I kept). Today, on Wednesday, I send him a text, around 4pm and inform him I have been waiting all day for him to contact me so we can get this deal done and pick up my bike. and have my down payment ready to go. I get a reply back from him that says, "can you talk now?" I told him yes and he called me. To my surprise he told me "I am still waiting on the lender to remove those fees I did not want.................................but wait..............he also told me, but.....that bike I bought was SOLD today by another salesman and not available. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT? The bike I had an approval from the lender on Tuesday was suddenly sold. His excuse as we cant take a deposit on the bike until they have an approval from the lender. I was approved on Tuesday and was never asked to put down a deposit and to just wait for the lender. We were communicating on Wednesday and still waiting for the lender paperwork. Again, I have every communication from DONNIE. I wasted 5 days with Lucky Penny and Donnie to complete paperwork on a bike that was not even available today. UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES from Donnie and the GM that allowed this to happen. I have since asked for the GM of Lucky Penny and the owners to call me. What a horrible experience. Avoid this motorcycle store at all cost!!? Found a 2016 Triumph Rocket and loved it! They wanted $10,499. I showed they they were $1200-$1500 over Kelly Blue Book and NADA retail pricing. Salesperson said it was one of a kind and would loose a deal over a couple hundred bucks. I tell him I will pay $10,000, put $3000 down and finance the rest. He agreed and we went to fill out paperwork. Financing gets approved and I need to go home and get the cash. I Uber back and they are waiting on me since they are closed. I hand they $3500 and they start printing documents. It turns out they are not going to take off the $499 from the price and the Add a $399 Dealer Prep Fee. I tell them this BS and not acceptable. Salesmanager says he see's where they made a mistake and will take off $200. I tell him this is ridiculous. You are already over retail, drop these crazy charged on me, not acceptable. They ask if I was will to walk of just a couple of hundred dollars? I tell them Yes, you are $900 off!!!! Then the smart ass manager says, we will sell it to someone else. What a young jerk I get my deposit and walk. They are friendly but conn artists. Too many other good dealerships out there. Do not allow them to screw you over. PS, Your dealer prep fee is the cost of doing business. If you charge this on all bikes then you should have a huge sign posted and it should be apart of the retail price. Bought a used motorcycle from them. Purchase went fine, but there were two things that really marred my opinion of the place: 1. Salesman told me in person that there was a new battery freshly installed. 6 months later the battery is dead. Upon inspection I found that it's the original stock factory battery, the terminals are rusted and the battery is coated in dirt/grime (it didn't get that way from my garage-kept city riding) 2. When they sold it to me they said they had a box of original spare stock parts that was included and on the way from their other dealer. I gave up trying to get the parts after reaching out to the salesman for 3 months and getting no result. It would have been a five star review, but a dealer really needs to back up what they say, even for the small things. read more

I purchased an 09 Harley from lucky penny over the internet after seeing the bike posted on cycletrader. The sales person seemed nice however they transferred me to the finance lady to finalize the deal. I offered their asking price out the door after reviewing nada values and she would have nothing of it; I have a done a few deals for cars and bikes in the past and never ran into any business not willing to work a deal. She said that the bike came with a 2 year factory warranty and a vehicle inspection however the reality was she was going to charge me $2700 for the warranty!... Again she said it CAME with the bike so I said no thanks. Also shipping from TX to CA was going to cost me $850 thru her and again said no thank you. I went on uship and got bids to ship for around 400$. The person I setup shipping with is ironically a normal shipper luckypenny uses...so why the F#$* did that finance BITC$ try to charge me 850$ for shipping? The paper work was sent and when I saw the final cost I notice she charged me over 350$ for vehicle inspection! I was so pissed!!! But I wanted the deal done so I signed the damn paperwork. The FTC used-vehicle-rule does not apply to motorcycles; that being said why the fu#$ did she just charge me for it...and AGAIN she said it CAME with the purchase!!!! I would have never paid for the inspection, as I used to work at a local vtwin shop and know my way around shovels, evos, and twin cams. I waited until I received the bike to post this review but I will never do business with Sneekypenny cycles, ever. I figure I have gotten good deals in the past and this is my penance, cant win 'em all If I were you, look elsewhere for your next used Harley. This place sold me a motorcycle that was supposed to have gone through there 78 point check well when it finally arrived to me a month later it had to have a new battery, voltage regulator, and brakes. Called the place many many times was told that they would call me back never called was supposed to replace the parts that did not work never did. I am a very very dissatisfied customer would never recommend this shop to any one! So if this 78 point check was done the mechanic needs to be fired for sending a motorcycle to a customer that has a faulty starting system and to have not put at the very least a new set of brake pads on it is completely shoddy workmanship!!!! Not to mention that they shipped this bike to New York from Texas so I guess they figured that there is nothing that I can do about there shoddy (shady) business! read more

Saved up to get a new bike (new to me at least) and came across Lucky Penny about a year ago. I was helped out by Matt, and he was really responsive to what I was looking for. I went in with a few bikes in mind in my price range, mainly metric cruisers, and when we could finalize numbers, he was really helpful in making a final decision. It came down to 2 Harleys, and the one I decided to go with is turning out (so far) to be reliable, mechanically solid, and very head-turning. Their finance department was really on top of things for me as well (and I'm so sorry I'm forgetting names at the moment). They took their time to work the finance companies to get me approved, and even did it over a 2 day period instead of most places just giving up after work hours. They have a great assortment of bikes from American (H-D, Victory, and Indian) and Metric cruisers (Honda, Kawasaki, and Suzuki), to sport bikes (Hayabusas and CBR models), and a few complete custom jobs like American Iron Horse and Big Dog Choppers.
