If you own a motorcycle and are remotely near North Fort Worth, you need to visit Wild Child Cycles. Chris and the entire staff are truly passionate experts in all things motorcycle i.e. service and sales. I chose to complete a "DYI" install of a Rockford Fosgate Stage 3 system on my 2019 Road Glide. after I finished Chris done the head unit flash and took the extra steps to update my H-D software and trouble shoot the entire system. (at no extra charge). This may not seem like a big deal to most, but for me it was because I had previously paid a H-D dealership for the software service for which they actually did not do. Horrible experience at Wild Child! Don't bring your metric cruiser to Chris under any circumstances. My friend bought a bike from Chris 2 years ago and I've begun using him for my service work. This time was different. I went to Chris needing an oil change, air filter clean and a "spring checkup". Chris recommended a drive shaft lube (which I accepted). He then tried to upsell me on a full service including spark plug change. I told him the spark plugs were fine and it wouldn't be needed. Can't fault him for trying... We discuss the various fluids in a motorcycle and I specifically mention that the reservoir fluids are dark and that I wasn't sure if they needed to be replaced or not. At that point I'm happy. Next day, I get a call that my battery is dead and needs to be replaced. That was odd since it started right up only 15 hours ago, but I went ahead and replaced it. Chris really went the extra mile to work with my schedule and I picked it up 2 days later. What irritated me about the pickup was a couple of insults thrown at my bike (VTX1800). "Little" "Silly" and "Stupid" aren't things that should be said about another man's motorcycle, but I've heard worse so I let it slide. First thing I notice riding home is that the disengagement on my clutch is deeper into my pull than before. No biggie. Then I notice that my horn has stopped working. Then I notice that I'm shifting very rough. Finally I notice that my clutch fluid reservoir is bone dry! Did they start replacing my clutch fluid and forget to finish? What kind of spring checkup did my $382 just pay for?!? I decide not to ride back and speak to him about it on Sunday as he had a party going on at the shop and me coming in hot and angry would have been pretty uncool. I call Tuesday. "You should have bought the full service" was Chris' response. "We did exactly what you asked for and not one thing more.". "I'm not going to spend labor on anything I don't have to.". "Want us to look at the windows on master cylinders or radiator reservoirs and make recommendations? Check brake pads? Verify that blinkers, lights and horns work? That's called service!". "I don't even know what a spring checkup on a bike like yours is.". ...Another insult. Good luck Chris, I'm done. read more

Name is fitting, they're extremely childish. All I needed done was to simply have a new tire mounted on my wheel, ALREADY REMOVED from my motorcycle. The guy on the phone, Chris, said they could do that, then asked what kind of bike it was. Told him it was a kawasaki ninja and his attitude completley changed. Said he wouldnt do it because it's a sport bike. Seriously? It being a sport bike does'nt change the job at all, it's simply mounting a new tire on a wheel already taken off the bike. Chris @ Wild Child Cycles has taken care of all my motorcycle needs for many years now. Chris started out working on my Honda VTX 1800. Then I upgraded to a Victory 8 ball, and now on my third Harley Davidson Road Glide. When I purchased a new 2015 Harley Davidson Road Glide CVO last month I didn't waste much time on a few upgrades.
