I've been to a half dozen cycle gear stores around the country and they've all been about the same. I met some real moto heads and a few folks just working a job but the team at my new Cycle Gear in Ft Worth are tops. I was in to buy a helmet which they had in stock and my size. While in there I lamented that several other shops and dealerships could not get me a part listed in the EBC catalog but Mr Nathan said he'd figure it out and make it happen and he did. He arranged for one of his parts distributors to special order it and got parts I was told I couldn't get. I had to pay in advance which is understandable and they took a couple months from Europe but they made it in and a bike I had sitting now is back road worthy. Good job cycle gear ft worth. Horrible experience, these people are swindlers!!! I got conned for $400. They lie to you about their helmets and then refuse to return it even though it is still brand new in the box that was bough 3 days ago. They said it's been "used" because I tried it on even though all the tags were still attached and never actually worn outside. read more

Rude, customer service is lacking. I used to go to a cycle gear store in Austin and always received good service. Not here.

Outstanding customer service is what you'll find here...plus some great deals! During customer appreciation deals in September I bought 3 helmets. I took 2 home but was supposed to return to the store to pick one up the next day. The story got crazy and complicated the minute I left the store, but it had a happy ending. Today, 2 months later, I remembered the helmet, stopped by the store and voila! went home with my third helmet, no hassle. Super nice, professional staff behind the counter! read more

Enjoy doing business with these guys - they are pleasant and know their stuff. Special ordered a leather jacket and was notified immediately when it came in. Didn't make the purchase but Wes spent about 30 minutes pulling other styles, explaining fit, performance, and durability. Good stuff and I appreciated it. I went here with the boyfriend looking for pants for his Halloween costume- random I know. The store itself is well organized and there's a good selection. Since neither of us are motorcycle enthusiasts, it was a bit difficult to find what we needed. No one offered us any help or asked us if we needed anything. The dressing room was pretty gross. It needs a good clorox wipe down and really shouldn't be used to store clothing racks. It made it pretty difficult to change while maneuvering around the huge metal racks. That being said- we did find the items we needed and they were on sale. I only see myself coming back if I have costume requirements. read more

I'm a big fan of moto liberity as many of you may be so i really wasn't expecting much when i first came in here, but i was really surpised! The selection is not quite as good, but it's not bad by any means. The staff knew their stuff and instead of making me spend more on a 2-pc suit than i needed to they sold me one on clearance that was the same one that i was looking at!!! The only thing was i had to wait for the jacket to come in because they didn't have my size. I wasn't riding that day so with the suit on they let me sit on one of their bikes(honda repsol). This really sealed the deal and made me a long time customer. read more

If you are in need of motor cycle gear this is a place you will want to check out. They have everything from outer wear (leather and moto-cross) to helmets and boots. They also have parts for your bike, add-ons and they do repair. This is mainly what we have used them for - repairs. They sell tires and mount them too. You would EXPECT a bike shop to know how to mount a tire but you have to CHECK their work. We dropped a tire off on Saturday and told them we would be back on Sunday to pick it up...ample time. Well, when we got there on Sunday, them mounted the tire backwards - PROBLEM! Then they wanted us to WAIT for THEM to have time to fix their mistake. 2 HOURS LATER we left with the bike fixed because the sales-guy wanted to "sell" to new customers as we waited for him to go and change our tire. Not sure how much you have to spend to get TOP service as by the time everything was said and done we had dropped about $400 dollars! Because they are a specialty shop they have customers where they want them...I would suggest doing your shopping on ebay or some on-line bike shop. I am not impressed but when I need tires, I have little options. read more

Buyer beware! I decided to write a review due to my very bad experience at this store I recently bought a helmet for about $129.00 they allowed me to try it on at the store it felt okay but when I got home and left it on for few mins it started to hurt my neck so I decided to take the helmet back and get my money back. When I got there the manager told me I could not return the helmet back but only do an exchange! REALLY!??? REALLY!? There was no information on the receipt or even anywhere near the register about this company policy about having 7 days to return and exchange the helmet.... I was not even told during purchase these conditions! SO after arguing with the manager who would not print me the policy threatened to call the cops on me! So he finally gave me his district managers phone# and I left. I gave the district manager a call and left an message and hope to hear from him soon! VERY upset! read more
