This was an average dining experience. We went for lunch decided to eat outside as it was a sunny day but not too hot. I don't think that was a good idea. Any time we needed something I had to either go into the restaurant or wave my hands to get their attention. The dish stated that there was cabbage I did not see any. I asked and she said it was small and not a lot. Well, it should not be listed as an ingredient. There were so many bamboo shoots in my Pad Thai that could have been another meal. The seasoning was bland I did add hot sauce and that made it taste better for me. This was a no return location. Lunch was $8.95 which is a reasonable price but there was nothing that stood out or would give me the desire to ever return. Oh, and we never received a refill on the water. Was very disappointed from my visit this week. Ordered the drunken noodle and it tasted very different. It had too much brown sauce making it taste similar to a pad see ew. There was no spice kick at all even with the peppers that were added. Oil was excessive. I hope it is not like this next time around. read more

Best Thai food in Gardena. We ordered the BBQ Chicken, Panang red curry, and vegetable spring rolls. The food is tasty and the portions are good. We order food here a lot at work. Food is always fresh and delicious. Really affordable lunch specials. My favorite dish to order is the chicken pad see ew. It is really tasty and the broccoli is always crispy. The lunch special comes with green salad and fried wontons filled with cream cheese. I also like their teriyaki salmon. This restaurant gets really busy around lunch time. Service is ok. They've messed up my order a couple of times. They gave me fried rice instead of pad see ew. Really enjoy taking out from these folks. Good food, fair prices, & generous portions. The roast pork is excellent, the pineapple rice is a winner, & the beef satay w/peanut sauce is kickin'. The main reason I never eat there is the dinky parking area. I don't know if the overflow from Furusato Korean BBQ is using the lot but it's easier to bring someone with me to go inside and pick up the order or drive me there so I can pop in & out. As far as the service goes, I haven't had any problems with the people there. Someone here said they aren't very friendly but they've always been cool whenever I've been there. I say check it out for yourself. If the food is what you care about, you should be happy with what they serve. My favorite Thai restaurant in the South Bay! Service is good, food is good, prices are good. Super tiny restaurant that gets really busy during lunch. They also have outdoor seating! She says three spice's tom yum is a little less "sour" than other places, which we both enjoy. I recently tried the pad kee maow and it was delicious as well. Lots of flavor; a little spicy. It was a little too oily though. Still, good! I also tried the papaya salad for the first time. It was wow so fresh and so flavorful!! I recommend their Thai iced tea. The best I've tried so far! *This would have been 4 stars up until today, when I was warming up leftovers and found 3 eggshell pieces (larger cized, the one I took a picture of was about 1 cm long.* I was craving Thai food last night and decided to check this place out, since it's like less than half a mile away from where we live. They have a small parking lot, and there is easy to find street parking as well. We arrived at about 8 pm, and the place was empty. Not bad for a Sunday night, especially since I was feeling sick and not really wanting to wait for my food. The atmosphere is pretty chill, they play jazz and easy listening music. The amount of food they bring for their prices is terrific! My $4.50 Tom Yum soup was the same portion that I'm used to seeing in other Thai places in Torrance for $7-$9, so I was happy. Also, they don't skimp on the chicken in the soup, which is nice. I also ordered pad thai and their garlic fried rice, although I mainly finished off my Tom Yum soup. Delicious, and not too spicy. Today, I heated up the pad thai ($7?) and garlic fried rice ($1.95). After the first few bites of the garlic fried rice, it started tasting like I had eaten grit. To my horror, I realized I had bitten into a piece of eggshell. A large piece which was then being ground into smaller bits. I spit it out, and then examined the rest of the fried rice. I found another large piece of eggshell, and decided to measure it. It is about 1 cm. Would I go back there? Yes, although I probably won't order ANYTHING with egg anymore. One of my favorite Thai places to go to in the area. They have really great lunch specials with big portions. I usually get the thai basil chicken with brown rice. It is all white meat and they give you a good portion of it too. My other go to dish is the pad thai. You can tell if a Thai restaurant is good if they can make pad thai right. And this place does make it just right. Not too dry and with a good portion for eggs, noodles, and chicken. I've tried the grilled pork and it was surprisingly very flavorful and not dry at all. The downside, it was a little fatty. The eggplant was not bad, but could be cooked a little longer. I have not yet tried any of the curries but see a lot of people order the curry. Didn't care for the tom yum noodles at all. It did not have the right balance of flavor between the tangy and spice. The servers are nice and attentive. The place is clean. It gets very packed at lunch because of their great lunch prices. The parking is probably the worst part of the place. It has a tiny little area and not that many spots. I used to love this place so much that I had their phone number saved in my cell phone. Now I think I'm done with them. The last several times we've tried take out from there the food had no flavor. The curries had no spice at all and the cashew chicken literally had no sauce. Fast forward to tonight and I'm home with a miserable cold and wanted some Tom Kah soup to sooth my throat and help clear the sinuses. Their Tom Kah was the one thing that was consistently good so I called in an order of Tom Kah with vegetables, crispy tofu, and a Thai iced tea. I picked up the order and since the bag was all tied shut I trusted the order was correct. No such luck. I got home and discovered they gave me vegetable Pad Thai rather than my Tom Kah. Noooooo! Even worse, they were closed for the night at this point. I've never been a fan of their Pad Thai to begin with but this was the worst ever. The noodles were overcooked and soggy and the vegetables were all overcooked and old looking. The broccoli was yellow, gross. The crispy tofu was terrible too. Completely burnt to shoe leather consistency on the outside and ice cold on the inside. Not sure how that is even possible. The only redeeming quality of the meal was the Thai iced tea that at least felt good on my throat. I ended up only taking a few bites of the food and threw the rest out. Solid Thai Food. The Green Curry was really good. It was also a little more spicy than other Thai restaurants; for me that is a good thing. The servers are nice. The restaurant is set up well, impeccably decorated, and in a nice location. The big windows inside let you see into the kitchen and give the place a chill modern ambiance. Indoor and outdoor seating - The patio has a mellow giant vase type fountain object, some well kept greenery, and some umbrellas. Good place for a date or just to get together with friends for some good eats. The Pad Thai was pretty good. The little lady liked the Won Ton Soup. I've been here 4 times, and have ordered 4-5 items each time. One serving is too much for me so I usually have leftovers for another meal! Some of their portions are really big, and this has happened with my family members as well - we almost always have leftovers, even if we only order 1 dish each. So for price, I would say this restaurant is a good deal. I ordered online all 4 times. The first time, which was in 2019, the online order didn't actually go through for some reason. The problem was likely with their ordering system. The restaurant immediately worked on getting the food we ordered. It takes about 15-20 minutes, so I'd say they are very timely with food preparation. I had no problems ordering online after that, and it took 15 minutes. I am not Thai but I've been to several Thai restaurants and like this place's food. I think their preparation is consistent. I've had their basil fried rice, original fried rice, House pork, House salmon, pad see ew, chicken meal, and pad thai. They've all been good. The pad Thai is not as saucy as some other restaurants, so if you like really saucy Pad Thai, maybe this place isn't for you. Their fried rice is good and the chicken dish we ordered was basically half a chicken, and it was very tender. The House Pork tasted like Korean kalbi, and was yummy. Their Thai Tea was extremely sweet and I had to cut it down by half with milk. It maybe didn't taste enough like tea (even before I put in extra milk). Overall, this restaurant is solid. I haven't had problems with their service. They prepare food in a timely manner, and I haven't had any dishes I've disliked. 4/5 rating! Parking stinks though (only about 5 parking spots), so I recommend being prepared to get takeout (even when there isn't a pandemic). read more

One star is lost because one of the chicken satay skewers was tough, and the pad Thai had changed color from light brown to orange and the flavor was not the same as before. Their pad Thai is one of the reasons we go here, so I hope in the future the chef changes it back. My 12-year-old son loves the Bird of Paradise Wing, which is a very excellent breaded chicken dish. Think way better than chicken fingers but still the same idea and elevated. The Thai Basil Fried Rice was excellent. We also loved the Prik King (spicy garlicky green beans) and Pad See Eow (sp?) This is a go-to for us at lunchtime, and it's about time I gave it a shout-out on Yelp. Everything I've tried is full of flavor, the restaurant itself is clean and modern, and the service is fast. The only item I didn't love was the pad woon sen, because it was too peppery for me, but there are several other noodles to tickle one's fancy at Three Spice The pad thai, pad see ew, and curries are consistently fragrant and fresh. The fried sole is delicious and huge- once we got one to share while we each ordered other entrees. Everything is reasonably priced, too. Taste was super sweet, no basil scent because there were literally two basil leaves and no sign of chili for spice. I can't say that this place was all that good. For starters, it's a tad over priced for what they give you. We were a group of 5. We started off with a soup but it felt like it was warmed coconut milk and not much else. I think it was missing some spices and for sure lemon grass for that sour kick that we were all hoping for. Their panning curry was kinda in the same boat, missing those bold thai spices and real hearty taste. The pad see ewe was good, luckily and thank goodness, because that's what we'd ordered for my lil one. She loved it. I thought it was good too, but nothing great or stellar about it at all. The servers were nice but towards the end of our meal I felt like they were trying to rush us out of there. The other dish that we ordered, that I can recall, was a pineapple fried rice. Again, it was good but was missing something. I felt like it was really missing curry powder and something that would give this dish some flair or "POW!" I know we'd ordered at least one other dish but I can't really remember what else we'd ordered ... but that tells me one thing, it wasn't all that good or tasty and sure wan't memorable. Parking was an interesting situation. We had a handicapped placard for someone in our car and when we got to the restaurant we noticed that their delivery person, or at least we think he's the delivery person, had parked there with their hazard lights on. I'm sorry. That was a jerk move. I hate when people do that and I can't stand it even more when it's someone who works for the restaurant. I don't think it would kill you to walk a few more feet or to double park behind someone who you know is still dining in the restaurant. Ugh! We asked about the specials and his response was, "What about it?". We prod him to tell us what the specials are, he responded, "Which one?!". I really enjoyed this spot. It's a small-ish space, but it never seems to be crowded so getting seated and served right away has never been an issue. The food is just as good as any other good Thai restaurant, nothing really stood out but it was all delicious. Nice sized portions they are definitely shareable. If you go with friends or family, order several things and you'll have a great meal for every one to share. read more
