While they now feature full breakfast and lunch menus, we find it hard to walk by without getting a scoop of one of their many homemade ice cream flavors. There are usually a wide selection to satisfy everyone's cravings and the scoops are big enough for when your eyes are bigger than your stomach. Great cafe! Perfect and swift breakfast sandwich (they panini everything) and yummy iced tea. The bacon egg and cheese, and the breakfast burrito were both tasty, fresh, and well put together. The blueberry oat muffin was really good - I could taste the blueberries and oats, and it wasn't coated with sugar, a totally unnecessary way of making muffins to which most places around town succumb. Mmmm delicious ice cream! This little shop has a rustic feel and some beautiful art hanging on the walls! I had a great discussion with lady in the shop about the abstract art that they were currently exhibiting in the store. Great place for a little date or get together with friends! First time at Three Sisters came here for lunch. I Ordered a Panini with a salad on the side, absolutely delicious and fresh ingredients. Everything just tasted fresh. I love the fact that they have free ice water and you can pour it in a plastic cup yourself. What had upset me was when the employee tried handing me the food that was returned. The women admitted that she did open the food. The employee felt it was ok to hand this to me. I didn't accept it and asked to have my order redone. Due to the pandemic I think it's extremely IMPORTANT to practice health SAFETY. We enjoyed a visit to this shop last weekend. I had perfectly-prepared Tanzanian peaberry coffee and a scoop of the amazing coffee-crunch ice cream. Coffee was available at three different roast levels, each with its origins specified. Based on the other happy customers, it seems a likely place to return for a meal sometime as well. I've only been once so far but I can't complain. The food was great, the coffee was good and the atmosphere was average - nothing special, but nothing horrible. The people who work there are pleasant (minus the one girl who gave me a nasty look for asking for my sandwich minus an ingredient I'm allergic to - I'm sorry, anaphylaxis doesn't look good on anyone..) and the ice cream is incredible. I would definitely go here again, and just hope I don't get the one rude girl to taking my order again. Decent place to sit and read a book or work on schoolwork. I'd never been to this cute ice cream and light food spot until today and I'll be back. The ice cream was perfect: rich and flavorful but not too sweet. I had a micro cone (no-sugar diet resumes tomorrow) and enjoyed a rare moment watching the world go by. Most of the staff are nice, with one or two exceptions hence the lack of 5th star. On a warm summer's evening it was packed with families and other folk--people with dogs hung out at the tables outside--super relaxed vibe. I was so disappointed. I ordered an omelet with cheddar and pico de gallo. The eggs were cooked on a griddle and not an omelet pan so the omelet was a flat sheet of eggs with cold pico de gallo inside and the cheddar wasn't even melted. Total bummer. The place has a great vibe although certainly could have been cleaner. There are home baked goods of which we purchased 3. Scone, delicious but quite dense, pumpkin cinnamon roll was good but needed warming because it was sitting out and felt a little stale and the large blueberry muffin was good. But no raves. Food is good, prices are good. The yogurt parfait is awesome. Coffee is middle of the road, but not bad. The only thing that is lacking is the atmosphere of the inside seating. It wouldn't take much to spruce it up. Maybe some new lights for the ceiling and a good sanding and a fresh coat of polyurethane for the floor. I'd pay more for the food if the atmosphere was better. Ahh Three Sisters, a nice little coffee/ice cream/breakfast spot. I have yet to be there or walk by when this place isn't busy. In the summer, it's the place to be for all of their delicious homemade ice cream offerings. I typically go here for the caffeine! Their cafe miel is my favorite. Espresso, milk, honey & cinnamon..what a delicious combination. I've recently tried a smoothie as well, A+! The staff is usually pleasant and the drinks come out as fast as they can, definitely worth the wait for whatever delicious treat you get. read more

This place was fantastic! I really enjoyed my iced chai latte and the chicken sandwich I ordered. The ambiance is very welcoming and they do their best to get the food to you quickly. They have a great variety of food, ice cream and drinks that you can get and the indoor and outdoor seating is wonderful. The only reason I am giving this place four stars is the sandwich wasn't actually put together very well and fell apart quickly, also when we were there a fire alarm went off and everyone was rushed out quickly (great thing to do and following procedure) but was hard for those still eating and were just told to leave without the food paid for. read more

I used to love this place for ice cream until I tried their breakfast. I ordered bagel, but it took so long, so watched how they were preparing food. The guy wearing a jacket did not have gloves on in the kitchen. He was touching other machine and prepping food without washing his hands first. Our food came out late and tried at home. Let me start off by saying I am not one to complain about food service. My friends and I came in on August 1st and regretted my decision almost immediately. There was no clear difference between the people waiting to order and those waiting to receive their order. It was rather busy, however that is understandable considering its popularity. The issue started when I approached a rather disgruntled cashier. She was slamming through drawers and sighing angrily while we waited for her to be ready to take our order. Then, she rudely stated she was ready for the next person in line. I placed my order and mentioned that I have an allergy, to which she laughed and questioned my allergy as though I made it up and informed me that the flavor that I ordered was directly next to the one to which I am allergic. I offered to order something else so as not to cause trouble, however she ignored me and processed my order. I was put off by the interaction but gave her the benefit of the doubt. I have worked in food service and can understand how frustrating customers can be especially on a busy night. However, I never found myself reacting to an allergy but to each their own. Order after order came out, there were a good amount of people in front of us and only three servers so one can expect a delay. In certain establishments that require blenders to be sanitized and cookware to be switched out, I understand the need to complete orders without an allergy concern first. However, this was a bit ridiculous. It wasn't until orders behind me were coming out and my friends were almost finished with theirs when I started to get annoyed. Then, I noticed one server washing her hands and grabbing a fresh scoop. Almost ice cream time. I also noticed that server and the cashier walk up to each other, mouth "Strawberry allergy," and laugh as if to mimic your older sibling complaining of something trivial. My friends noticed, too, and asked if I had witnessed what they just had witnessed. The server scooped my one scoop of ice cream, looked me straight in the eye, and shouted "Small black raspberry. ALLERGY!" The entire place went quiet, everyone stared at me, as the server, eyes still locked on mine, repeated her statement and louder this time, as if I hadn't heard her, because another customer was blocking the counter. I received my order, embarrassed and no longer excited about my ice cream. Look, I get it. Customers can be annoying, handling a large number of orders at once can be difficult, you're almost at closing, and all of that is maximized when there is some sort of modification to an order needed on top of it all. I understand that uncommon allergies can be bizarre. However, embarrassing a customer in front of a packed store and not taking their needs seriously is a huge fault on your part as an employee. If someone with a more common allergy - nuts, for example - had ordered something, would the staff's behavior had been the same? I think not. No matter how uncommon, allergies can be life threatening and if something were to happen secondary to the staff's negligence, who does that fall on? I suggest, if you are so drained from your long day of scooping ice cream that you can't compose yourself enough to provide a positive experience for everyone that walks in the store, don't work in food service. This was an unfortunate experience as I truly enjoyed the ice cream here, however, my friends and I can't bring ourselves to go back. read more

I've been here on many occasions to indulge in their delicious ice cream, and I can assure you I will return many times because they have some tasty unusual flavors. Not to mention scrumptious baked goods. Today in particular though, I was not super impressed. Looking for a cool refreshing drink, wifi and a cool atmosphere to beat the 90 degree heat and humidity, I did not find it here. I got an coffee ice cream shake--made with espresso and coffee ice cream, but when I got it, the ice cream was no longer frozen. It tasted good, but it was like drinking melted room temp ice cream. For a drink that cost almost $7 toss some ice in there! Make your frozen drink frozen! Especially on a hot day! FYI If you are headed there to cool off in ac, you won't find it here either. Hot person, hot inside store, eating a lukewarm frozen beverage, ugh. And one last thing that I have noticed during previous visits, the adjacent room has very, very loud ambient noise. The machines, probably coolers, hum loud, music can be loud, people can be loud...there is nothing to absorb the sound waves. So, if you've got sensitive ears or are prone to headaches, be forewarned. My suggestion would be to get some plants, fake or real, canvases on the wall, something to absorb and muffle the loud din! read more

One of my favorite places to go these days, and it's certainly not easy on the wallet when you choose to have dinner and dessert there four/five nights on any given week. I didn't find out about Three Sisters until this past summer, but it's definitely become one of my favorite spots to enjoy some lunch, dinner, or dessert. I've yet to try any of their breakfast items, but I'm a regular consumer of their wraps, hamburgers, and sweet potato fries... all of which have been delicious. And the ice cream... I think it goes without saying that it's some of the best in the area, and it's nice that they have a revolving menu of "specialty" flavors, as well. I came here with my boyfriend after showing him the park in front of it (which is so nice, the park feels relaxing and clean, great for a stroll!). Initially I wanted to grab brunch here, but we decided to just get their ice cream. Which was amazinggg~ My boyfriend got (small, 1 scoop) vanilla ice cream with a sugar cone and I got (medium, 2 scoops) cake batter and strawberry with a wafer cone(?, I already forgot). Although my boyfriend just got vanilla, he was very impressed and really liked it. My cake batter was rather sweet, but I loved it and with the strawberry underneath, it gave a hint of sourness with the strawberry pieces. I really like the ambiance here, it makes you feel relaxed and peaceful. Kind of makes you feel like you're living your summer vacation already. They give free cold water too! It's a bit overwhelming when you step into the shop because the walls are so busy with the food and coffee menu as well as the ice cream selections. Everything is over priced. The only reason I set foot in the place is to satisfy a group of hungry or thirsty visitors when we have no immediate alternative for light fare. I have been here 3 times and each is worse than the previous- 1. ordered burger/ fries /shake- burger was poor quality but edible, fries and shake okay. 2. ordered tuna melt- worse- at a few bites and disposed of it, it was so fishy and just gross. 3. ordered the special- cornedbeef panini- disgusting, couldn't even bite the meat- not edible. fatty and tough, , not even sure it was corned beef round. Three Sisters has been a weekly staple in my household since they took over Maximillian's a few years ago. It's a great place to stop in for a quick coffee/tea, snack or meal. As many other reviewers have posted, their ice cream is delicious. I always get the Dirty Garden Mint (which has real, actual, honest to goodness mint in it) or Peanut Butter Cup and my fiance gets the Khulfi (which is a mix of pistachio, cardamom, cinnamon and other craziness). We have yet to branch out because these flavors are just so dang good. I also stop in here and there for to-go breakfasts when I've overslept, including an egg, cheese & veggie english muffin, smoothies or oatmeal. All are great. I don't usually get the baked goods, but their biscotti and granola is also very good. I also crave my favorite salad pretty often (chicken fajita salad) which includes a ton of avocado and chips. The service is generally good (the weekday AM girls are excellent!) but can be pretty slow, especially on the weekends. It can get really crowded during busy times (summer evenings, forget it) and the ordering system/line can get a little awkward because you're not sure where to stand/sit/move when there is a herd of people waiting to get their order. It can also be hit or miss with some of the staff members who are making your meals (takes too long, orders are cold, not what you asked for). Parking is not so great but others have mentioned parking on the street and walking works better. Love that this place is so close! read more
