4 corners sandwich is so good!!!

Loved visiting this little local restaurant! Very nicely decorated and I love the scripture painted on the wall. The staff was so friendly and our take out service was fast. I had heard from others about how good the food was. It did not disappoint! They have a nice selection of yummy desserts too! It is important to support local businesses and this one is a must!! We will definitely be back and will tell others to make a visit!

Great Local Hidden Gem with a Nice atmosphere with touch of Nostalgia throughout the restaurant. Tried the pick two - Soup was Boiling hot and tasted delicious with just right size chunks of potatoes and pieces of bacon and just right amount of cheese on top. It was definitely homemade - as good as what my mother would make. The sandwich was also tasty - with fresh Boar's Head meats - Smoked turkey, smoked Black Forest ham, Swiss, cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato, tangy mustard, and Mayo on three slices whole wheat which was toasted to right level. While I was eating I noticed they had Broccoli Salad on menu so I decided to order a side and wasn't disappointed - broccoli, bacon, red onions, raisins, cranberries with vinegar and sugar and pecans mixed in - excellent tasting - best I have had anywhere in Alabama. Another positive is they carry Coke products that doesn't come out one of those terrible tasting (Cornucopia Flavor) touch screen machines.

The Three Earred Rabbit in Leeds, Alabama is a restaurant on the corner of Parkway and 8th Avenue in Leeds, Alabama. It is a relatively new restaurant; open since the beginning of '19. This restaurant is located 5 minutes, 2.4 miles from I-20. Walk in, find a table, user friendly menus are on each table in professionally done pamphlet form. Soon there's a very pleasant staff member at your table taking your drink order. The restaurant is on a corner with plenty of windows providing a nice view of this sleepy little town. Parking is easy and plentiful. I'm from Dothan, Alabama but I've been in the Leeds/Moody area for several weeks doing some work. From April 5 to April 28, 2019 I have gone to this restaurant for lunch 14 times! It is my favorite restaurant for lunch from Oahu to Seattle to St. John's, Newfoundland to New Orleans. I have ordered many things off the menu and tasted all their soup choices. The soup of the day is displayed on a sign as you walk through the front door. My favorite soup is the soup placed in front of me. They are all very tasty. I really enjoy their Chicken Salad and generally have a scoop on my bed of greens. If you want additional fruit or a different type than on the menu, the staff is happily ready to accommodate if the choice is available. The fruit has been fresh each and every time I have had it. I asked a waitress once before I ordered the strawberry salad if the strawberries were fresh. She said, "Oh yes, or we wouldn't serve them". I believe her. Instead of chicken salad, chicken strips are available. The deserts: Pastries are mouth wateringly displayed beautifully in their desert display. I really enjoy a great cupcake. Their cupcakes are wonderful, deliciously comparing well to a nationally famous cupcake store in Birmingham, Alabama. My favorite desert, however, are their Cannoli's. I grew up in Mondello, Sicily. I have tried Cannoli's wherever they are offered...that includes restaurants in Little Italy in New York. The ones at The Three Earred are, to me, the best I have ever had. My partner's favorite desert is the Marshmallow Brownie. Susan loves it. Metal utensils and napkins are bought to you. Drinks are brought to you and refilled in a timely manner. When you are done with your meal, leave the table as is, no need to bus the plates etc., in fact there are no purpose trash cans suggesting that you do. This I not a fast food restaurant although food is brought to you quickly. It is a very nice casual eatery serving nicely prepared and very tasty food with a smile. Bottled Water: Is not available WiFi: Is available, ask the staff for the password Samsung Pay is readily accepted along with most credit cards.

Special of the day: strawberry pimento cheese sandwich with broccoli salad

Everything we got here was amazing! We tried the California club and chicken Alfredo melt along with their special of the day, the strawberry pimento cheese sandwich! They were all so filling and delicious!

It's a very nice diner-like restaurant. They have all that you would expect, and I still recommend it, but it's a little overpriced.

Today's review is Rusty's BBQ located at 7484 Parkway Drive in Leeds, Alabama. They are a family…read morerun business and have won several awards over the years since opening in 2009. Rusty's is hands down the best BBQ in Alabama, I drive over 50 miles at least three times a month or more to eat here. They offer up pork sandwiches, plates, ribs, brisket, cheeseburgers, a vegetarian BBQ, chicken, sausage, world famous collards, homemade pies and more along with a variety of sides. I don't eat vegetables so I double down on the fries, I cover them with their sweet BBQ sauce, which I also love on the meat. The serving size at first glance looks a little small but don't be fooled, it will fill you up along with the generous helping of whatever side you order. The last time Julie was with me she ordered the ribs with okra and mac & cheese, both were enough to feed a family of four. The ribs were fall off of the bone and cooked to perfection, not burned like some rib places around the area. As for me, like I said, I always order the pulled pork plate with double fries, sweet BBQ sauce all over both. I have tried the spicy BBQ sauce and at first taste it was a little hot for my taste buds, but over time I kept dipping my fries in it and once I got used to it, it was pretty good, I would not put it directly on the meat or fries. I also tried the house sauce, it was just a sauce, kinda like if you didn't want your BBQ plain, best I can describe it is like drinking water instead of anything with taste, it's something to wet your throat. They offer a white sauce but I did not try it. The sweet tea is also very good. The service is good as well, someone came out and checked on me as I was eating, they play the blues on the radio but not too loud, the decor is local with lots of hometown football and area sports decor. The only thing I did not see that makes a great BBQ joint a legendary BBQ joint is a picture of Alabama football coach Paul "Bear" Bryant, all of the legendary BBQ joints in Alabama have a picture of the Bear. Rusty's offers ample indoor and outdoor dining and plenty of parking with handicap parking available. Now to the only negative, when I order I always emphasize that I want NO pickles on my plate, I can't stand pickles or pickle juice. Several times they have put pickles on my plate, it's just a couple of small pickles and I remove them but it's the fact that I point it out plainly when ordering and they still get it wrong. I don't let little things like that slide when reviewing restaurants. If you are a local and eat here alot be sure to put your phone number in when paying to earn points for your reward, it's only 5% off, but every little bit counts. Overall Rusty's hits a home run when it comes to BBQ in the state of Alabama, it's worth the drive. /5

As I walked in the bartender yells at me, "What part of banned for life don't you understand....?" Fortunately, the PTSD keeping me on perpetual edge kicked in immediately and I responded, "Hey you're wearing my t-shirt you... give it back. And, how can I be banned from a place I've never been before?" The bartender and I then got down to the long history of Marty's PM (formally in Five Points), the legal and jurisdictional control of lifetime bans, and general 'long time no see, how you been?' chit chat. The place is situated in a nearly empty strip mall, which gives it a slightly post-apocalyptic vibe. It was nevertheless pretty crowded. They seem to be serving the same healthcare professionals/biker crowd that used to populate the 5-points version back in the day. I didn't try the food, but it looked pretty good. The prior version had one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches to be found. My only knock on the place would be the lack of draft beers. I toughed it out drinking Jack and Cokes. It's a little out of the way for me, but I suspect I'll be back sooner rather than later.
