Service was quick but the girl taking our order got both of our drinks wrong. I asked for the seasonal caramel brulee creme - tall. She didn't know what that was and asked if I wanted coffee in it. Per the website, it should come with 2% milk - steamed hot, pumps of the caramel brulee sauce, whipped cream and caramel brulee topping. She rang it up as a caramel brulee frappucino. I got a frozen drink when I should have gotten a hot one. And it didn't even have any caramel brulee syrup in it. My daughter asked for a grande hot peppermint mocha. The girl gave her a tall and then said we ordered a tall one. It said grande on the screen when we ordered it. She went to "fix" it and then proceeded to give my daughter a grande hot mocha coffee, no peppermint whatsoever. I'm not sure who this place is hiring, like if it's teenagers or what. But they don't listen to customers. On Google this location has an abysmally low rating. So it isn't just our experience. Bad service seems to be the norm there. I'd say fix it but i doubt that will happen. I won't be going to this local location again though, which is disappointing.

We were greeted by the manager as we were escorted to our table. Alex H., our waiter, wasn't far behind. It may have been one of his first days by himself as he seemed a little hesitant... but then again, the manager was stoking the fire right near him... so maybe he was just nervous. Alex did a great job. Our orders were brought fairly quickly, including the ever elusive Broccoli cheese casserole. The portions were perfect for us that day (they seemed smaller than normal but we weren't starving anyway.) He very politely handed them to us plate by plate and came back twice to check that everything was well. I HAVE to mention that Alex even used proper English which isn't common in daily conversation. More often than not, people choose to use slang. This is likely one of the best visits to Cracker Barrel that we've had in a long time. Alex should be promoted to a peer trainer! Accidentally stumbled upon this gem while lost in Pell City area. I decided to stop in as cupcakes…read moretypically make days brighter. The owner Shenikia was present and very friendly. She discussed the assortment of cookies, brownies and cupcakes available for purchase (on display). Everything is baked fresh daily. There is also a small selection of Blue Bell Ice Cream products. The space is clean. There is an extended seating area. Space is available to rent for a child's birthday party. The is an assortment of games. The owner has even included a backdrop for selfies. I decided to purchase a brownie and some sherbert. I enjoyed both. I hope this business continues to thrive.
