I love going there and they know exactly what I want when I walked through the door, which is a caramel cookie frappe with sugar, espresso, and no whip, and sausage balls. I love their sausage balls. And they have other things like scones ,muffins ,chicken salad ,pigs in a blanket, little desserts, and soda drinks . Was stopping through talledega for the first time and wanted a place with a light breakfast and coffee. I stopped here, and the staff was easily able to answer any questions I had about the menu. I got a bacon and egg sandwich and it came out super fresh and the perfect size. What really impressed me was the iced vanilla latte. I live in Birmingham, so I've tried a vanilla iced latte from dozens of different places but THIS one was by far the best one I've ever had. Idk what's different about it, but it works. This place is definitely worth a review! If you're a coffee lover and find yourself in Talladega, this is the place to go! They have tons of flavors and the coffee is amazing! I always get a caramel iced coffee. They have a pretty big option when it comes to food as well. Today i got the sausage roll ups, but ive also tried the chicken salad and a ham and cheese croissant and I have liked everything! Just make sure to tell them you want it heated up if thats what you prefer. They usually have a new item on the menu every month or so to keep things fresh. Right now it's shrimp and grits! Tons of AMAZING desserts, the cinnamon rolls are the BOMB, and everything is home made! Definitely stop by if you are in the area! Conveniently located next to Dominos Pizza. read more

Husband and I went out of our way to stop here on our way home from camping in the Talladega National Forest. It shares a building with Dominos, so we missed it the first time we drove by. I don't remember exactly, but other than "Daily Grind" painted in the window, there didn't appear to be any other signage. I can't really speak much of the ambiance as I ordered my drink to go, but it seemed comfortable and I forgot that it was connected to Dominos, until I saw a Dominos employee come out of the apparently shared bathroom, which is on the coffee shop side. Anyway, I ordered a large latte with an extra shot and asked the barista for half the amount of bourbon caramel flavoring that she would normally put in a large. This is about the time that I noticed all the Torani syrup bottles on the shelves behind her. Ugh. I should have just told her never mind right then and there, but I decided to go with it and hope for the best. Unfortunately, that is not what I received. I'm not really sure what "half" meant to her, but it was clear that she and I had two very different definitions. There was so much syrup in my drink, that I could barely taste the espresso, EVEN with an extra shot in it...all I could taste was that overly artificial sweetness. It kind of makes me cringe to think of what a drink with a full dose of syrup would have tasted like. If you're one of those people who likes an excessive amount of sugar, you might enjoy the way drinks are made here. If you actually like the taste of coffee/espresso, it may be best to stick to the plain drinks. Or just keep driving. I'd give it another chance but wouldn't go out of my way. read more

The Daily Grind has great coffee. I really like the Bacon Egg Crossant is excellent with fluffy scrambled eggs. They also have a blueberry French toast that was also very good. We enjoyed the outdoor seating but it is good for a quick stop in. read more
