Tucked right in the heart of Five Points, Adam and Eve Café is an absolute gem that checks all the boxes -- friendly staff, modern and comfortable seating, and an impressively clean, inviting space. The first thing you notice walking in is the fresh display of fruits and vegetables used for their smoothies -- everything looked vibrant and thoroughly cleaned, which gave me instant confidence in their quality and freshness. I ordered the Five Point Sandwich, made with roast beef, Swiss cheese, mayonnaise, lettuce, onions, roasted peppers, and jalapeño tomatoes (yes, jalapeño tomatoes -- and they were delicious). Everything came perfectly balanced and fresh on warm pita bread. We also tried the Dubai Croissant (available with pistachio, Nutella, or creamy pistachio filling), and it was so good I completely forgot to take a photo. It's easily one of their bestsellers for a reason -- flaky, rich, and absolutely decadent. For the quality, freshness, and generous portions, the prices were completely fair. Between the service, the atmosphere, and the food, this place deserves every bit of its 5-star rating. Whether you're grabbing a smoothie, coffee, or a full meal, Adam and Eve Café is a must-visit when you're in downtown Birmingham.

This was my first time trying Adam and Eve, and I was impressed with their large pastry selection. I went with some friends and was able to snag bites of a variety of items. While I didn't order any pastries myself, I tried bites of the Cinnamon Roll, Biscoff Cannoli, and the Tuscan Panini. The Cinnamon Roll was alright, nothing out of this world. The flavor of the cannoli was delicious, but the outside wasn't crunchy like cannoli should be. The Tuscan Panini was very good and was served warm. I ordered the Antioxidant smoothie and added protein powder. I got the smallest size and it was $12. It had apple juice, bananas, strawberries, and blueberries. I could've easily made this at home, so next time I would choose something different. The interior here isn't anything special. You order at the counter and seat yourself. Lots of single-use materials are used here. I'd love to see the business opt for reusable materials and perhaps spruce up the dining area and bathroom. Overall, I love that they have plenty of vegan/vegtrain food options and a large selection of pastries (however, I do question the freshness of the baked goods). I think this establishment has a lot of potential.

Great vegan menu! Had the Seitan pita. Yummy! Very nice service. Comfy seating! Parking is tough but found a spot in back.

Very accommodating owner & staff helped us create bowls that would work for our dietary needs. The place is spacious with a cozy coffee shop vibe, near (on?) the UAB campus. It's all metered street parking so it was tough finding a spot (especially on a Saturday night), but we finally lucked out. We both had the BBQ Tofu Sandwich but made into a salad. The tofu had a great umami flavor and the onions were grilled till soft, just the way I like them. I had my usual matcha latte with no sugar or flavored syrup and the owner was concerned I wouldn't like it because it wasn't sweet. Haha I told him no I like it that way. He was skeptical but I assured him it would be fine, and it was! Hubs had a coffee latte and it was equally good. Recommend!

Had book club with the girls here and it was a nice quaint shop. There were so many options that I was becoming a bit overwhelmed. Decided on the strawberry matcha and it was delectable. The inside is decorated nicely and warm. The service was quick and helpful. Next time I go back I will definitely be trying something different.

Great place to sit and study while you embark on an amazing side quest of culinary delight!

It is always a great time at Adam and Eve cafe. Lots of vegan sandwiches, wraps and salad options. They have a variety of smoothies and coffee as well that can be made vegan. Do not forget to check out the dessert cabinet! Where else can you find vegan slices of cake, and these come from a local baker in Birmingham. They often have, Vanilla, Strawberry, German Chocolate, Coconut and Regular Chocolate Cake. Always fast and friendly service!

I met up with a friend there on a lovely Sunday afternoon, and I really enjoyed the vibe! The space is super spacious, clean, and just really nice overall. It's great for vegetarians, too--they have a fantastic selection of fresh fruits, desserts, smoothies, and milkshakes. I went for a cookies and cream milkshake, and I loved that the staff brought our orders right to our table, so we could relax instead of waiting at the counter. The only little hiccup was that I felt the prices were a bit on the high side, but Overall I enjoyed it.

Tried this out for the first time for lunch. You order at the register and there are plenty of seating options with tables and comfy chairs. Starting off with the lattes they were delicious. The best pistachio latte I've had since they use pistachio cream instead of syrup. My sister got a smoothie and it wasn't super flavorful kinda just tasted like apples. We got two sandwiches and both were delicious and warm. To finish up we got the Dubai strawberry cup which was good but they were too light with the chocolate and pistachio cream. Once we hit the middle there was plenty. Tons of items to try on the menu, definitely worth a checkout!

Cute new cafe in 5 points! We got the fruity crepe and it was a perfect balance sweetness and tartness from the fruits. The workers were very friendly and kept us updated on our orders. There's a large selection of pastries and dessert. Can't wait to go back and try everything else!

Service at Adam & Eve is impeccable! I feel like every time I come in there they remember me! They are so helpful and want to make sure you're happy while you're there! I've tried a few of the deserts, a smoothie, and the Dubai chocolate. Everything is pretty good but it's truly the people who make it worth while. It's also nice to be able to support the community!

The vibe here is different from the one out in Cahaba Heights, much more industrial chic. I'm on a quest to try every single local coffee shop in Birmingham, and I am never disappointed. I ordered from their special winter menu the iced minty matcha, which was fantastic. The mint was not too overpowering, super tasty. This is such a great spot! Definitely a more social coffee shop, from what I gathered on this Saturday morning. I always dread parking down here and then never have trouble. I was specifically super excited to try their seasonal matcha special, which was made with horchata (also from Salud!) and strawberries, if I recall correctly. Unfortunately, we walked in only to find they were out of the supplies needed to make the drink. :( I was caught off guard and didn't know what to order, but the barista recommended a latte with maple flavor so I went with that. The interior was clean and spacious and had a relaxed and calm but energetic feeling to it. Good place to hang out or work quietly. There's a self-service area to spruce up or fix your drink or grab lids or stir sticks. Service was nice and my drink came out quickly. It was pretty good but not really the "right" drink for me. I like my stuff on the sweet side and this was much more balanced and coffee-forward. That said, it held its own against my sugar-craving taste buds and I drank most of it, which is usually the hallmark of good brew, lol. I don't really blame them because I blanked on what to order and just went with what was suggested. It's probably a great suggestion for lots of other folks! Would be happy to come back and try a different beverage. Seems like a nice place overall. :)

When I went to the counter, I took a moment to look at the menu, and told him it was the first time in. He took the time to explain the signature flavors, the various ways to order a drink, and even explained the different notes of the coffee beans they offered. I ended up ordering a vanilla cardamom cappuccino to go. The barista brought the coffee to my table, which I found extremely personable and kind, even though they had multiple orders to make. The coffee had great notes of cardamom and vanilla without being overly sweet, which I really appreciated. Even though I got it to go, the drink stayed warm for quite some time, and was in a compostable container. In addition to this, all UAB students actually get 10% off, just make sure to show your Blazer ID. One thing I noticed for future visits is that the tables are quite small, so it may not be the best place to do work or study, especially not in group settings. While it was a pretty quiet space that could be good for studying, the seating is not the most conducive to studying. In addition to this, Filter Coffee is located at 5 points, which makes parking difficult, but that is not the company's fault, just something to note if someone decides to visit.
