Greta spot for breakfast! The avocado toast was the best I've ever had and it was seasoned sooo well! The waitress was super friendly as well. Despite how busy it was on a Sunday morning, the food came out fast. Would come back here again! read more

We sat outside and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The patio seating was comfortable, and the service was attentive without feeling rushed. It's a nice setup overall for a casual weekend brunch. I ordered the "Redneck Benny" -- an open-faced biscuit topped with sliced ham, ham powder, and two perfectly cooked eggs. It was hearty, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you're craving a classic Southern breakfast with a chef's touch. Everything we ordered was good and came out hot. The only hiccup was when the young woman helping bring out the food reached directly over my plate to serve my friends theirs. It wasn't the end of the world, but definitely not the best service etiquette. Outside of that, the experience was solid all around -- great food, friendly staff, and a menu that shows some creativity without trying too hard. I'd absolutely come back to try more of their biscuit dishes and maybe one of their breakfast cocktails next time. read more

Our waitress, Valerie, was excellent! Despite being very busy, she was calm and did her best to serve her customers well while maintaining her duties at the bar. Food was fresh, hot, and came out quickly. It was delicious! All employees were trying their best & helping each other stay up to speed even with a busy atmosphere. We enjoyed our experience and will be back! read more

I've wanted to try BBB for a while and finally got an opportunity this past Saturday. I've heard the wait can sometimes be pretty long, but fortunately we were able to get a table pretty quickly. I had the Veggie Omelet with Chicken Sausage added, hash browns and coffee. The food was delicious; coffee was just okay. Overall I enjoyed the meal, service and atmosphere. Hoping they build one in my neighborhood soon. There have been rumors, so my fingers are crossed. read more

I love BBB! The service is always top-notch, and we enjoy sitting at the bar while ordering fabulous vanilla cappuccinos along with the best BLT in town. My next favorite dish is the eggs benedict. The staff is consistently great, just like the food and service. The ambiance is friendly and welcoming. It's a fantastic local spot for breakfast and lunch. read more

I decided to take my new friend to big bad breakfast since he's never been there before. It was a Friday around noon, so there wasn't many people in there. We both started off with an apple mimosa it was very tasty. I ended up getting the big bad biscuit. It was good, but the biscuit was a little crummy and dry. I don't think I would get that again. My friend really enjoyed his biscuits and gravy and his low country meal Our server with a blonde girl, but I don't remember what her name was, but she was very attentive The bathrooms were very clean as was the restaurant I will definitely be back read more

always good prompt service. im obsessed with the grits & chorizo egg bowl. omg its soooo dangerously good! coffee is ok...

I recently moved to the area and the long lines made me want to try this place. I went in and was greeted immediately and taken to a seat as I beat the crowd. This was a solo outing for myself and I can also say that the people were so nice and attentive. The employees as well as the other customers. I ordered a few things off the menu and I can absolutely give a 9/10 to each item. I order pancakes, bacon and I even tried the ham biscuit. Loved every single item. Cooked to perfection and beyond tasty. I could easily tell why the place is always packed. It gives the true southern breaks fast spot and I am super excited because I know I will become a regular often now. Next I want to try a different item but I know those pancakes will see me again for sure. Very clean establishment as well. read more

Neighborhood staple! Have dined here from the day they opened and the quality, service, and appeal has not diminished. In fact, larger crowds have formed and they definitely have a fan club on Sunday for brunch. I love the gluten free options and their latte's are amazing! Outdoor seating is one of the best in town, nicely situated among trees for a cool and comfortable setting. The chairs are comfortable, some places have 10 minute chairs these were 60+. Amy on her 3rd day was amazing. Old School Wrap very good, sauce not so much. Fries were worth fighting for, which happened! Screamin Demon sandwich got rave reviews. Fries shared beguilingly. Chicken and Waffles, they killed 3 chickens and cooked them crispy good, seasoned right, waffle a great vehicle for the chicken. Shared all around. Steak & Eggs, King Size hash browns. Eggs and Browns perfect, Rare steak was tasty but tuff. We will return, no one left hungry, smiles all around. read more

Decided to finally stop by and try BBB. Of course they don't take reservations and it was packed. We got there a little before 10 am and there was about an hour wait. Once we were seated, we were greeted as normal and ordered our food and drinks. Keep in mind, the mimosas even though it was your typical beverage, it was slightly overpriced in my opinion at $10 a glass and the glasses were small lol. For some reason, BBB doesn't have carafes. I also ordered the shrimp and grits. It was your typical breakfast dish. It was pretty good and the food was served pretty quickly. To me, the BBQ sauce that came with the dish slightly overpowered the dish and it made it seem like I was eating a BBQ soup than shrimp and grits by the time I was done. Other than that, BBB is your typical breakfast spot. read more

Sister date time came back around and BBB was our weekend pick. We could honestly eat a plain bagel while sitting on the car in a parking lot and be happy. lol We are known to order a ton of food and just share everything. Give the two of us a four seater most times because the table will be full. This weekend was on the lighter end so our order only consisted of several bruleed grapefruit, avocado toast and french toast with apple juice and water. French toast was our newest addition to our spread this time around and I had no idea how good it was here. All items were tasty with the plates having a generous portion size. Our wait time wasn't long, food came out shortly after ordering, and our server was distracted by us but did a great job overall. They already know we will be back. read more

Big Bad Breakfast on Highway 280 is one of those places I keep going back to when I want a really solid and satisfying breakfast. The food feels thoughtful. You can tell they care about the ingredients they use, the bacon is thick and perfectly cooked, the eggs are always cooked exactly how you order them, and the biscuits are soft with just the right amount of crumble. This time, I tried one of their skillets and it was hearty without being greasy, and the coffee was strong. Service has always been friendly and efficient, even when it's packed on weekends. The staff checks in just enough without hovering, and they move quickly. The place is casual and lively. It can get a little loud during brunch rush, but it feels energetic in a good way. Overall, it's a dependable spot for a comforting and very filling breakfast with great service to match. read more

Quite possibly the best breakfast in the South. It's super busy at this location, but we got a table pretty quickly. The food is absolutely incredible. The best bacon I've ever put in my mouth!!! I ordered the breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, spicy bacon, a biscuit, and hash browns. It was absolutely incredible and so much food! My kids ordered the cat head biscuit and the French toast. The French toast is incredible- three large, decadent slices with fruit, whipped cream, and berries. The WOW factor came in the cathead biscuit. Holy cow that's a lot of food! A ginormous biscuit, split in half, topped with two fried chicken breasts, and all smothered in sausage gravy and gooey cheddar cheese. It was an absolute showstopper and so delicious. We can't wait to go back! read more

I ordered the French toast. One of the pieces was the heel of the bread. Impossible to cut and very hard. Inedible. When pointed out to the server she stated order it less well done next time! Hmmm. I ordered it normally, nothing special. Why does a restaurant charging a high French toast cost ever serve heels of hard bread.? read more

Super crowded on a late morning Sunday due to the church crowded, regulars and folks like me who find this " big " gem . I came alone, so I was seated immediately; however, I recommend reserving ahead if you are able otherwise the wait during this timeframe is 15-40 minutes. Onto the food...served rapidly and hot! It was very good. Ham is a little salty, but that's often the case in the States. Cheese eggs (cheddar yea!) were so good as it had more cheese than at other places, but I appreciated it. The meal serving is normal to huge, so come hungry or order individually. The service was friendly and fast. You can hear from the conversations that locals come regularly and thus know the servers, so the ambiance is a mix between large, rapid breakfast diner (busy) and hometown place-to-chat (warm). I felt like a fly on the ceiling (versus the wall ) at the counter soaking up the comfor ting commotion (yes, who would think commotion could be soothing.) So, if you're looking for this type of ambiance on a Sunday, and likely any other high-traffic days, you'll enjoy the BBB! read more

Inside is cool, lots of tables they are close together so when folks walk by they bump into folks seating. Checked in on Yelp app for wait list, when I arrived I went it to tell my party have arrived. These helped lessen the wait time. Food was good. I had pancakes with spicy bacon . Pancakes were nice fluffy but taste was basic. Wife got cathead chicken , I tried her it was great. Kid got grill cheese and fries. Looked good. Also got cappuccino, kid sweet tea, and two waters. Waitress was nice just didn't refill water. With all we got came to about $47 (not counting tip) read more

Blew it today BBB. Yes it is Sunday brunch. But waiting 40 minutes when there are tables empty in the dining room and one table seated on the patio is ridiculous. You have been open for years and know how to manage Sundays, or you should. BBB so nice! The food came out so quickly! Coffee was hot and fresh. Server made sure we had refills on our coffee. The tab waa not brought while we were still eating our meal, helping us not feeling rushed out. We stayed a little longer at table ans the server kept checking on us and making sure we were getting waited on even though we were done eating, once again not making is feel like rushed to turn over table and refilling coffee. We were with people to catch up as we have not seen each other in a while. Taking care of-- not rushing-- and most importantly-- not asking us to pay out in the middle of us still eating. All just important things. Being kind and understanding on letting us enjoy with no rush. * and not asking us to pay out in the middle of us eating ;) Thanks BBB! read more

The food is great but our waitress was awful. She came to our table 3 times total, stood around her other 2 tables holding babies for 10+ minutes before immediately touching out food and never saw her again to get our check. Had to go as the bar tender for it. read more

Great food! Fast service! Our favorite breakfast place! The raspberry compote is delicious!

Last week I decided to eat at Big Bad Breakfast on 280. I received exceptional service, and the waitress was very attentive. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and it was served with gravy and an egg. I also ordered a mimosa, and I was not too satisfied with it. The mimosa tasted kind of tart, and it did not contain enough juice, in my opinion. The menu had a wide variety of delightful breakfast dishes, and I would love to go back and try them. I would recommend the entree I chose to people who like a lot of flavor in their breakfast food. The only downside was the mimosa, other than that Big Bad Breakfast is worth the visit. read more
