The best thing is he genuinely wants to help you get what you need. I couldn't find a piece for my pallet racking and he did everything he could to help me get it. If he doesn't have it he'll try calling others in the business for you. Business owners rarely act this way anymore.

She took all the info and my credit card, which I authorized to be charged. She told me she was going to apply 50% until her manager could help her with the shipping information. I received paperwork showing the transaction we spoke of. Days of baloney, avoidance, etc. Distressing. Sam then told me I'd have to get my own UPS label and send it. I did this. I paid $509 to UPS for shipping. I then began to email them at their email address with the shipping label and info. I have copies of all my paperwork. ALL of my emails to them were kicked back. the mirror was to be picked up today at noon. Multiple phone calls with both urgency brought distressing stonewalling finally brought me back to Sam although I insisted on speaking to a manager. "They won't sell it to you" was what she said. They won't let the mirror go." No calls, no explanations. And whatever the reason (another customer wants it, etc.) does not negate the fact that I purchased it by providing authorization to charge my card. Extremely poor treatment of a polite and patient customer. It is now 11:53 in Bloomington. I have not yet received a call back from anyone at Gabbert's. Frustrated at being able to get anyone to help me, I left. Today, I had a project, and I needed to find some old wood for shelving, so I went to the new location thinking it might be better. It wasn't. It was possibly worse. I think I was the only customer in the entire store, yet, I still could not get any help. The other people in the store - I thought they were customers at first, until I went upstairs, when one followed me up and turned on a light and then left, so maybe they worked there (or not). I had a piece I wanted to buy in hand, but when I approached them, they ran away to the back of the store. It is so rare and disturbing to want to give someone money, but not to be able to do so. I hate this place: so many great items and no way to buy them. I wish them luck. They will need it. I will take my business elsewhere.

They are now located in Saint Paul on Snelling and I'm thrilled as a STP girly. My friend introduced me to the shop after she scored some cowboy boots for a themed party. We visited together on a Sunday and were able to snag some fun deals including a swimming suit, a dress I plan to wear for Halloween, and some tops. Buffalo Exchange sells both men and women's clothing along with shoes and accessories. Pricing is fair and the interior is clean and well organized. The staff is friendly and helps bring items to the dressing room to try on and write your name on a big board. Upon purchase, you will be handed a token if you don't take a bag or bring your own bag. From there, you get to pick a charity of your choice to donate a percentage of your purchase to with no extra fees included. Amongst favoring second hand wear, I also support Buffalo Exchange's mission and variety of items. I look forward to finding more gems very soon. Welcome to Saint Paul!!!

As soon as you walk in you definitely can smell it. My mom knew I wouldn't last long so we hardly made it pass the accessories & shoes - which is in the front part of the store. It looked like they had a generally decent inventory of clothes & shoes though. I didn't really look at prices of anything so no comment on that. Seen some retro-ish shoes, I guess if you are into or looking to bring 90s-00s styles back, they may have something for you.
