Came out quickly and did a thorough assessment of our situation- I wanted a full review as I had seen some termites. He was very thorough climbing under the house, going into the attic and inspected all over. Spent a lot of time and took pictures explaining what he was seeing. Turns out we only had a small problem of subterranean termites. A couple of weeks later we got a full report with the pictures! They went above and beyond what I was expecting, the report covered many other items like wood rot and other issues. They also wrote up an estimate to cover every single issue they found. Jose and his team provided very prompt and excellent service at my home. They took apart an interior column supporting the ceiling, sprayed inside the column, and also sprayed under the house and in the attic in that part of the house. Then they replaced the outer side of the column with new wood, where there had been dry rot termite holes. All this within only a few hours, the day after I called! This review is long overdue. I don't normally use yelp so please forgive how long this took, Jose! Jose was recommended by my realtors (Mike and Nicole Wilhelm who are also amazing!) and did my home inspection and also completed a major bathroom overhaul in my new home back in 2018. The job was done right and was beautiful - it was also done quickly and at a great price. I really didn't think it was possible for all these boxes to be checked in the Bay Area. We worked together on design and finding the right fixtures and materials and most important - the work was quality and it has held up. Update 5.16.18 May 3- sent text msg to Jose saying pipes are still making noises, might not be the strapping that needs to get looked at. No reply.. May 9- sent another text asking any ideas when he'd get someone to come by to fix the issue. No reply... Called Jose on his phone and left a voicemail. No reply...emailed Jose, no reply. Write a review on Yelp (thank God for Yelp!) Got his attention and emails back saying he'd be at our house on Friday, he never got my text msgs and to just email him instead. Note that every since day one of meeting Jose text has been the best way to reach him and suddenly it's not the best way to contact him. Anyways then comments here on Yelp! Hilarious! And to reply to your statement regarding me wanting to get a bid for windows, ugh lol what happened WAS when I handed you the check to completing the job, YOU asked me if I still need the bid for the windows and I looked at you like seriously?! But went along with it and said yeah sure you can send it over so we know what pricing to expect. And so you didn't send the quote anymore. Your guys couldn't handle a bathroom glass door! Why would I trust that your guys can handle 8 windows plus a sliding door o_0 ok let me get back in track... May 15, 2017 contract was signed May 22- work was suppose to begin June 2 - we moved in the house so we can start getting other bids for other stuff and so we can start on the painting etc.. June 6 - could not stand having his crew mess up our paint Everytime they where left in the house and was told that since they had most of what was in the house fix already, the exterior can be done during the weekdays 9-5 but interior has to be on a Saturday or after hours when my husband is home. So we can make sure nothing else goes wrong. I had very high hopes for this company. This is our first house and it's a fixer! So we were spending a lot of money! Knowing they are a small family owned business, which we like and prefer to use thinking we'd get more for our money, this was absolutely a headache. I m not sure if Jose just needs to micro manage his team when it's a big project or even a small one or just the lack of respect they had for our house, or the fact that the attention to details is not a priority to this company. Basically, Everytime they said they where done, I found something that was messed up. Example, they said they finished the full bath, I go in and see the tub chipped, shower fixtures all scratched up, screws they used are all old and rusted and some was even missing screws. When we didn't move in the house yet, my husband would stop by after work to see the progress they've done and he would find a window left open, spare key would be missing from lock box, found their microwave in the kitchen with shoe marks on the kitchen floor. I had set up a room that had my kids toys so that when we were in the house she can have a clean area to stay in and when we got in we saw shoe marks on her mat. SMH... Let his crew in on a sat one time, my husband leaves his keys on the mantel, when we got back, the guys where outside the house and one of the guys handed my husband, my husband's STI keys and said he grabbed it by accident! Just a really really bad experience. And that's not even all! There's so much more but I don't want to waste time with this company anymore. With that said, Jose you can cancel coming by on Friday. We'll look for an actual plumber to fix what your crew couldn't as my husband and I don't trust and would be worried of what else could go wrong. For yelpers out looking to hire this company, I would definitely highly recommend you keep yelping to find one that has more experience in construction. Maybe this company is best at what they do which is pest control. I really don't know yet. Maybe others will get a better luck because Jose can give you better quote etc. But personally I would not use them again and nor recommend them to anyone. I wish there was a review like mines to read before I had signed the contract with this company to give me a heads-up. read more

Three Counties is great -- they did some structural repairs on our property. Jose and his team gave me the best case scenario as well as worst case scenario. They insisted that I get a permit to make sure everything was properly inspected and up to code. Since the repairs were structural, I was very happy to take his advice on this. Even the inspector was impressed with the way the repairs were done and integrated with the look of the house. (There were some issues with the new code not matching up to old code and as a result, they had to do some creative thinking to make it look original to the 1920s house) They also did a fantastic job on the stucco-work, making the second column base look original to the house. We were super happy with their work and would definitely recommend them! read more

We needed to have 2 balconies redone on our house, one of them being a very large one that was roughly 15 feet in length and involved a large wooden beam. I got a quote from our contractor years ago who said that the cost of the wooden beam itself would be 5 k alone. Years, later, I decided to give three termites a call since I heard they also do great work surrounding any wood related projects. Jose was prompt in his response and we scheduled time to meet. He was thorough in his explanation of how long the project was going to take and what was involved. A few days later, he came back with the quote and I was floored. The price of the entire deck was only a little over the cost of the wooden beam that my other contractor had quoted me. Don't get me wrong, I was skeptical with have a termite company do a wooden balcony but I went ahead and took the leap of faith. 2 weeks had passed and Jose finished the project and the results were amazing. Not only was it visually appealing, but Jose and quality of the work was good. They ensured that pressure treated wood was used for the base of the dick and that flashing was installed to prevent water damage. In fact, we had numerous neighbors asked us who did our balcony since they were interested in using them as well. In addition, I was told by the foreman who built the balcony that he had many people pass by to get business cards since they were so impressed with the work, they wanted to hire them as well. In addition to this, I asked Jose to quote me on some siding replacement for our house. As his team started to work on the siding, they determined that many did not need replacement after all, just repair. Jose reduced the cost of his original quote as a result. I was amazed at his honestly since he could have easily just went ahead and done the replacement and charged me full cost. Jose was referred to me by my insurance agent. I had made many calls to termite control companies and could not get them to come out when I needed someone immediately due to construction having to stop due to termites. I called Jose on Monday told him that it was urgent to get someone to come out Jose showed up with an hour explained to us what his findings were and the cost.
