We went there looking for a car. We already had a car in mind knowing what it's was worth (online research) and knowing that they had one on the lot. So we got there and noticed that the sticker price was almost $6k over blue book value (hahahaha!) but we had them run our credit check anyway. After sitting there for what felt like weeks, they give us a price that we qualified for and try to talk us into getting some old Mercedes European garbage. How do you go from an 2005 Acura RSX, to a old 90's Mercedes diesel sedan? Anyway, we run our own credit check with the credit bureau and pretty much came up with the conclusion that these guys were full of crap even with the credit check! We could of qualified for the drug money bought Lamborghini they have inside if we wanted to. These guys are shady as hell. After hearing stories from other people, these guys prey upon young people who don't know any better and illegal immigrants who don't have papers (yes, really). The repossession rate is extremely high for cars purchased here. This place was probably started up as a cover-up for the drug dealing family that runs it, and grew to where it's at by taking advantage of people. Don't ever buy anything here, and don't ever give them any of your information. They'll probably steal your identity too. read more

Worst customer service ever. I felt like I was being kicked out of the place after I told them I had found better deals down the street, and if they could match it. It was my first car, so I wanted to get a good deal... The guy kept interrupting me when I tried to talk and was giving me a bad attitude. I will never consider 3 amigos again. read more

Hey, so I a wish I could have seen the reviews before I bought my truck there. They are very sneaky and they know how to get you. Overall my truck looked really good no problems but the usual minor details when you buy something used the problems began later on when I needed a new battery, my light got messed up and my door locks aren't working. So don't buy here not worth the drive . read more

This is our 3 time here and finally we get to walk out the door with a new car. Thank you to Gustavo De La Torre for helping us to get the car we wanted it. His a great seller definitely recommend him to anyone that is looking to walk out the door with a new car. Thanks so much read more

If you are thinking of buying a car....Do not purchase from these people!! Three Amigos Auto Center does not deserve your business, even if your credit is bad or if they just in a bind dont make a deal with these people. The will make you feel like they are doing a huge favor, but it is like making a deal with the Devil. The very sad truth to this place is that they Prey on the Latino Community. Their cars are crap and they know it. They do not deserve any stars for rating, but I have to put 1 star. Very bad customer service. Overall horrible experience for a first time car buyer. Karma will get these people for all the sleeze and cheating deals they do. read more

NO AYUDAN A LA RAZA ESTAN PARA FREGARLOS!!!! I had bought a 09 Yukon Denali from them when not even 3 months after I purchased it the engine gave out. We had taken it in with them before the engine stopped working due to the engine having a hard time starting correctly then they said It was an old wire and that they had replaced it but if anything else happens to just bring it in to get fix at no charge. During all this they had me and my wife come in two times. The first time they told us that something had happened to the first contract where we had put a down payment of $1500 and didn't know what it was but we needed to go again to sign a new one( keep in mind we live in the San Francisco area 58 miles away from them) to our surprise they gave us a contract with a down payment of $3800 so they made us believe they were going to help us out by making the rest of the payment in installments for another 2 months had lower our monthly payments by $100 which sounded awesome to first time buyers...so while we were there we told them about the engine issues and had us make an appointment for a different day so we did then brought it to get "fix" after 2 weeks the engine gave out while my wife was out doing errands getting stranded in a target parking lot at night we asked this "reputable dealer" if they were going to take care of it as they had promised my wife when she took it in for engine issues.. so we called the service manager he denied that he had ever said that they were going to fix it for free. The GM said it was our problem now they couldn't help because the warranty they sold us had expired which by the way turned out to be a joke!!! So I had certified technician from a BIG local dealership he said the engine needs to be swap $5,000 estimate out of my own pocket for a car I thought was in perfect working condition coming from a "reputable dealer" so now I'm forced to voluntarily surrender this truck because I don't have the money to fix it and I'm not going to be paying for a Yukon shell. Messing up all my good credit. For all the bad reviews I seen I'm surprised they are still in business and if you check their FACEBOOK page you can also see that they have their sale staff do good reviews on them. THANKS THREE AMIGOS FOR MESSING UP MY CREDIT!!!!! Bad car buying experience!!!! read more

WARNING,WARNING,WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please don't go to them, they are terrible with their vehicles and its not worth what they say. All the people at that location are not caring at all. They just want the money and not really help us out. Their vehicles are not for long term use, they don't last. All their vehicles have problems and you will have to deal with them as soon as you drive it out of their lot. Don't make the same mistake I did, save yourself some money. And don't let them take advantage of you and the limited opportunities that we have. PRECAUCION, PRECAUCION, PRECAUCION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Three Amigos are the worst!! This place is really not what they advertise, I am very dissatisfied and would NEVER recommend them to ANYONE!! Financing is up the a** and the down payment they asked for was RIDICULOUS!!! Please do not waste your time with this place..... read more

I went to Three Amigo's lot after visiting their website. The site looked pretty good for a used car lot. The cars looked great in the site photos. I was a bit bothered they do not list the vehicle prices on the site. When I got to the lot I also learned they do not post the prices on the vehicles. No information at all is on the vehicle. When asking questions about particular vehicles the sales person was just guessing on milage, options ext. I quickly found every car I asked about was thounds more than what they are worth. Not a few thousand, many thousands! I couldn't believe the prices I was being quoted. Nearly every car has dents, scratches, interior damage. I looked at cars priced thounds of dollars over KBB estimates for cars in excellent condition that were fair condition at best with extremely high milage. One example. A particular vehicle I have researched very well using KBB, Edmunds and NADA. This vehicle in excellent condition with all options and 4X4 is worth $6500 with under 95k miles. I looked at this vehicle at Three Amigos. Horrible condition! 2X4, 150k miles. Nearly no options. They are asking $13,500!! Just unbelievable! Who in the hell is purchasing cars from these people? And how do they stay in bussiness? read more

came into situation knowing my credit was not that good and was probably going to get beat up price and interest terms. they explained to me the process and explained to me how I could get the best deal. showed me what I could do to make the banks accept terms I wanted and I was pleasantly surprised when they worked with me on the down and got the deal pushed through. The terms were acceptable to me and I am completely satisfied with the transaction. it gets better..... they had a plate of 5 tacos waiting for me before I left the lot. thanks 3 AMIGOS read more

These people are very rude and do not have any customer service skills. They say one thing on T.V. and tell you something completely different in person. My brother in law went in to see a truck that he had seen on their commercial. Never expected to get the service he did. They asked him to sign all the paper work with out him even seeing the truck. Before signing anything my brother in law told him that he wanted to see the car.... The man got upset and told him he did not have to buy the car if he didn't want to..... WTF is wrong with these people ? read more

I completely agree with Sonya A. Everything she stated is correct and even more! We purchased a dented work truck which broke down 3 months after the purchase date and the mechanic who serviced it told us the engine heads needed replacement. If these crooked dealers hadn't replaced them they could've at least let us know or lowered the price!!! But of course these people aren't going to give you the cons of the vehicle! During the deal they told us we had 3 months free service: IN THEIR OWN SHOP IN MODESTO! We don't live anywhere near Modesto. We drove 2+ hours for what we thougt would be a good deal. All we got was a headache. Also when we got there and wanted to test drive options and see around how much we would pay on two trucks the dealer told us We had to choose ONE!! The infomercials feature an indian selling cars, so people with similarities go give them business with the idea that they are getting a good deal. The only thing you are getting is a MAJOR RIP-OFF. NO VAYAN A THREE AMIGOS AUTO CENTER! read more

We came into a very bad situation with a car that was falling apart. We had some issues with our credit at that time & very little to put down on a car because we had just found out hat we were going to have a third baby. We came into 3 amigos & they bent over backwards to help us out. All in all they ended up letting us trade in our other SUV that was seriously falling apart & gave us so much back for it. They put us into a Chevy that fit all of our needs including their row seating, back up cameras, the whole 9 yards. They got us approved and into the car that night! The new Chevy had less than 30k miles & was even still under warranty. We bought it one year ago today & it's still going strong without any issues! We love our new car. The staff was so very helpful in every way! For our next purchase we will be back at 3 amigos for sure!!!! Thank you for getting us into the car that fits our families needs & was within rice range for us as well. read more

on their website they had a specific car listed for sale. Since we were coming from San Jose, we called first to make sure it was still available. They said that is was. When we arrived, and asked to see the car they said it wasn't there, and that the owner of the dealership was using it. At that point they ran my husbands credit score, and decided that it was good enough to call the owner and ask him to bring it in for us to take a look at. While we waited for 2 hours for the owner to get there they kept trying to make a deal with us on a car we hadn't even seen yet. We liked the car, and decided to purchase it. After being there for 5 hours we left with our new car. 2 weeks later my husband received a phone call saying he didn't qualify for a loan, and that they needed more money down, in addition to a co-signer. Instead of playing games with them, the following Saturday we returned with $25,000 cash, and bought the car. At that point we thought our dealings with this place were over, but they were only just beginning. Fast forward 2 months later, and we still hadn't received the pink slip or current registration and tags. I phoned the DMV, and was informed that they registered the car in their name, and have the current tags, registration, and pink slip. I phoned Three Amigos, and they said they made a mistake, and would take care of it. Here it is 2 weeks later, I just phoned the DMV, nothing has been fixed, we still don't have the pink slip, registration, or current tags. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!! Take your business to a reputable car dealer, who knows how to treat their customers. read more

for the last 6 months or so every saturday and sunday this commerical for 3 amigos comes on with this bigg sales and reasonable prices. well my husband and i finally decide to take a trip to modesto to see this 3 amigos. well we're coming from the bay area so its like 2 hr drive. anyways, we finally get there and its like out in the middle of nowhere. we start looking around when this sales man comes out asking the typical sales person's questions. we tell him that we had just seen the commerical in the morning and we would like to see the vechiles that we shown. he resonsed that all we sold. we seen some we liked from what wasnt shown on tv and he was like uggg thats this much and uggg thats that much, it seemed as thought he was pulling numbers from the top of his head. we finally seen the truck we've been looking for and price sounds just right. he goes to find the keys.... comes back with no keys.. some employee had gone home with the keys.... strange not practical for a dealer's employee's to go home with the keys.... bad sign. bazsically, i would not come out and buy a car from 3 amigos, there proces are sky high, not worth driving out there, and customer service sucks, read more
