I purchased a Groupon for this company for a no chip manicure and pedicure and went to schedule an appointment. Nowhere on the Groupon does it suggest that they only do nails/toes Thursday-Saturday. It also doesn't say that on their website. I wouldn't suggest this business to anyone. If you only provide services on certain days the minimum you can do is have it written so people know what they are paying for. read more

I purchased a Groupon from this place for a no chip mani & reg pedi. I was a bit hesitant but I called to confirm and the owner was very nice and police set my appt for 1:30pm. Upon arriving I did have to wait 30mins, and was finally taken cared of at 2:20pm. I wish a heads up via phone would've been nice so I could've used that time productive. Overall, the lady tech was nice and she got all my ingrown nails and cuticles which I really liked. My nails came out looking stunning and real cute. Groupon was well worth it. I'm gonna be completely honest, this is not the threading studio for me. I live in the area but I'll make the thirty minute drive for my old studio. I'd say 75 percent of my eyebrow shape looks ok, but the inner middle portion looks horrible, no straight lines, made sooooo thin when I asked for a cleanup. And $17?!?! I've been going to threading point since 2019. Despite the long commute I have to make to get here, there's few to no other places in chicago to do my brows as I ask (as opposed to the thin brows they want to give me). I go in for cleaning, no arch, straight brow and they nail it each time. I really appreciate that it's a get your service and go establishment, no need for extra costly frills. I do recommend to drop by on a weekday if possible as they're booked and busy on weekends. read more

I come here for my Brazilian Wax and threading. This is a one stop shop for all your beauty needs, and the staff are all very nice! For the Brazilian, it is on the cheaper side of other places around the city. It is super quick, only 10 minutes! The only one downside is that I do have maybe 10 tiny stubbles that were not picked up by the wax, but I end up plucking these at home afterwards. Lately they haven't been there and although eyebrows are decently shaped they hurt , I actually got two cuts today under my left brow and they just aren't as on point as before. On January 2, 2025, I walked into this salon at 10am which was my appointment. A very frustrated woman greeted me and stated the nail technician would not be in. Then they (owner was on phone) wanted me to fix their problem by making another appointment, which was not convenient for me. Left the salon and contacted Groupon who stated the owner denies my request for my refund and wants me to reschedule. The irony is that they knew the nail technician was going to be there and no on attempted to contact me (the customer). The woman that threaded my eyebrows removed a huge chuck of hairs at once on my left eyebrow (which was very painful) and now my left eyebrow has a bald spot. Awkward and unpleasant experience from beginning to end. Judging by the phenomenal reviews this place has, I'm really surprised that my visit was so different. I purchased a Groupon for a no-chip manicure and pedicure. After calling the salon 4 separate times (I kept reaching a generic voicemail that didn't have the salon's name or anything), I finally got in touch with a young woman who helped me schedule an appointment for Saturday. Her English was very broken and I had a hard time making up exactly what she was saying, but we agreed on a time and I was excited to give this place a shot. Upon arrival, I noticed that there was only one manicurist working (pretty surprising for a Saturday in Lincoln Park!). She started the water for my pedicure and asked me to check the water temperature before we began-- a courteous gesture. However, her tone and demeanor completely changed when another pair of clients walked into the salon and said they, too, have appointments for the same time as me. Without offering an apology or trying to clarify the situation, the manicurist (who never introduced herself, so I'm unsure of her name) told me that my appointment was booked for the wrong weekend and that I have to leave. I was stunned at her lack of empathy or understanding about the situation. I apologized for the mixup. The two young women that walked in were also very frazzled by the interaction. They were surprised only one manicurist was working and chose to leave the salon for another across the street. They generously offered to let me take one of their slots and I agreed. The manicurist was visibly upset and it made the entire experience incredibly uncomfortable. The salon is completely silent-- no music, no TV (it apparently broke a few days ago?), and no conversation. My appointment was an hour and 45 minutes of complete silence. Holy crap. The woman was in no rush to complete my nails. She answered several phone calls during our appointment, including personal ones on her cellphone, and failed to evenly coat or trim my nails. This was the first time I've ever had a manicurist cause my cuticles to bleed. I'm now worried about a possible infection. When my nails were put under the black light, I noticed that almost every nail had bubbles or lines where the polish was unevenly coated. I've never, ever noticed that when getting my nails done elsewhere. I made comments about this, but was more or less ignored. This isn't visibly noticeable without a black light, but you can definitely tell when looking at my nails up close. I also noticed spots on my nails where my old nail polish is still present. One of my nails even has a weird jagged dent that was completely left untouched. Overall, I LOVE the color of my nail polish but unfortunately nothing else. I don't see myself coming back and I wish no other customers experience a similar inferacti UPDATE: my gel nail polish chipped within 5 days of getting them done. This is the first time I've EVER experienced a chip from a gel polish. read more

This has been my spot for the last 4 years, but it has changed recently. The last 3 times that I've been, the owner has not been there, so my eyebrows services have been done by others. For the price to be $17 before tip, and it is not the same quality as it used to be, is not worth it. I've never had any complaints about this place until recently. I tried many places, including Nail Junky, (whom I think are awesome asf too) but in personal opinion, I think they are just a tad bit overpriced. Ever since I stepped foot into this place it was like "HALLELUJAH". Great prices. Great deals. Great service. Great work. And most of all AMAZING people, especially the owner Ayesha. That's my girl! Ayesha and her employees are always on point with their shit and tbh even if you have ONE complaint about something, they DEFINITELY go out of their way to make sure you leave COMPLETELY satisfied. For example: I had gotten a no chip mani done to be all festive for Halloween. Went home to shower, scrubbed my head, and the paint from both index fingers got caught onto my hair and tore off a bit. I messaged Ayesha right away to let her know what happened and asked if I could come in the next day to get those two nails fixed. She then contacted me the next morning, apologized, and asked if I could come in to redo my nails completely. So of course, I thanked her for offering that to me and I flew my butt right over. I came in today without any expectations, but left blown away by not only the service (my nails look fab!) but also how kind and friendly Ayesha was! We chatted the whole time!
