Absolutely the best place for eyebrow threading. The service is fantastic and the new location is gorgeous. I've tried everywhere in Chicago and genuinely nothing compares to Threading Point! read more

Ever since moving northwest Ive been trying to find a reliable eyebrow threading spot. I started coming here about a month ago and ever since I started coming to Threading Point I haven't been anywhere else and refuse to go anywhere else. I haven't been to a threading salon where they thread the brows so clean. I started getting tinting done here and the service is a must have. Once you get it done you're gonna want to get your brow maintenance done here all the time! read more

I purchased a Groupon from this place for a no chip mani & reg pedi. I was a bit hesitant but I called to confirm and the owner was very nice and police set my appt for 1:30pm. Upon arriving I did have to wait 30mins, and was finally taken cared of at 2:20pm. I wish a heads up via phone would've been nice so I could've used that time productive. Overall, the lady tech was nice and she got all my ingrown nails and cuticles which I really liked. My nails came out looking stunning and real cute. Groupon was well worth it. I'll go back. :-) thank you. read more

I purchased a Groupon for this company for a no chip manicure and pedicure and went to schedule an appointment. Nowhere on the Groupon does it suggest that they only do nails/toes Thursday-Saturday. It also doesn't say that on their website. I wouldn't suggest this business to anyone. If you only provide services on certain days the minimum you can do is have it written so people know what they are paying for. read more

I'm gonna be completely honest, this is not the threading studio for me. I live in the area but I'll make the thirty minute drive for my old studio. I'd say 75 percent of my eyebrow shape looks ok, but the inner middle portion looks horrible, no straight lines, made sooooo thin when I asked for a cleanup. And $17?!?! Not the place for me I'm so so sorry everyone seems lovely and the lady before me left looking great, I just really don't know what happened with mine read more

I've been going to threading point since 2019. Despite the long commute I have to make to get here, there's few to no other places in chicago to do my brows as I ask (as opposed to the thin brows they want to give me). I go in for cleaning, no arch, straight brow and they nail it each time. I really appreciate that it's a get your service and go establishment, no need for extra costly frills. I do recommend to drop by on a weekday if possible as they're booked and busy on weekends. read more

Amazing ! It's my second time here for nails , the owner is a darling so is the nail technician !!lyhe last time my nails lasted 2 months! ( got it done on international women's day 3.8, and there was still a nice chunk of that beautiful tulip colored mani left after 2 months!!!) This time I chose a shade i never got it before - baby blue and it reminds me of the clear blue skies in Galapagos when I visited 2 years ago!i am definitely a happy customer:) read more

Got back and arms waxed, the woman who does it is terrific, very fast, very efficient. There is a Groupon, but you can also call her directly to discuss pricing. Strongly recommend. read more

I had a Groupon for a Fruit Facial. It was a wonderful experience and I was treated with such care. Unexpected benefit was relief from a tension headache I came in with but left relieved after the perfect pressure and constant face, scalp, neck and shoulder massaging. My skin feels supple and revived again after a tough winter. I'm glad to have found this place and will be back. read more

Susanna was professional and courteous. I am extremely happy with the quality of her work and will be returning.

I have been coming to the Threading Point Salon for about 4 years now. I have trust issues when it comes to my eyebrows and they never let me down no matter which person does. Their prices have went up probably due to the pandemic and other factors and I am forever a loyal customer. read more

I come here for my Brazilian Wax and threading. This is a one stop shop for all your beauty needs, and the staff are all very nice! For the Brazilian, it is on the cheaper side of other places around the city. It is super quick, only 10 minutes! The only one downside is that I do have maybe 10 tiny stubbles that were not picked up by the wax, but I end up plucking these at home afterwards. The eyebrow threading was also super quick, and I loved the results! I'll definitely be back. There is street parking near. read more

I miss getting my brows done by Sabina /owner. Lately they haven't been there and although eyebrows are decently shaped they hurt , I actually got two cuts today under my left brow and they just aren't as on point as before. I used to rave they were perfect every time and practically painless. read more

Call to confirm the time before driving to the place. Got an appointment on the same day and mentioned Groupon. Upon arrival, the Frontdesk said they were running late and would need to wait long at least for another 30 minutes. Perhaps they didn't want to take Groupon clients. They could have just said that on the call so the customer didn't have to drive all the way for nothing. read more

Really wanted to like this place. It seems like everyone on yelp loves it, so I gave it a shot. I came in at 7pm on a Friday, and waited for 5 min. The lady who did my brows was super nice! She took her time, comparing brow to brow and asked for my opinion. When I went home, I noticed that she cut me twice. I have two knicks on my left brow, and it's been 2 days now and it's not healing read more

I've been here a couple of times now which was a fine experience but my last time there will be my last. The woman that threaded my eyebrows removed a huge chuck of hairs at once on my left eyebrow (which was very painful) and now my left eyebrow has a bald spot. I just had to buy regrowth serum after visiting here. I would not recommend. read more

On January 2, 2025, I walked into this salon at 10am which was my appointment. A very frustrated woman greeted me and stated the nail technician would not be in. Then they (owner was on phone) wanted me to fix their problem by making another appointment, which was not convenient for me. Left the salon and contacted Groupon who stated the owner denies my request for my refund and wants me to reschedule. The irony is that they knew the nail technician was going to be there and no on attempted to contact me (the customer). This is stated because I have serval emails from the owner previously about my appointment. When does the customer become hostage for poor management? read more

I always get my eyebrows threaded here. So far they do the best job out of any place I have tried.

I've trusted Sabiha with my eyebrow threading for 4+ years now. I'm never disappointed, and I'm very particular about my eyebrow shape and thickness. She's so sweet, detail-oriented, efficient, and rates are super reasonable for the city. Been going during COVID times and sanitizing measures are in place. Highly recommend for your threading needs! read more

The deluxe facial was damn good. Probably the best in Chicago. I used to go to other places because it was cheaper or more convenient but now I come here just for Sabiha. She does my eyebrows, face, and *all*. Lovely lady too :) read more

Awkward and unpleasant experience from beginning to end. Judging by the phenomenal reviews this place has, I'm really surprised that my visit was so different. I purchased a Groupon for a no-chip manicure and pedicure. After calling the salon 4 separate times (I kept reaching a generic voicemail that didn't have the salon's name or anything), I finally got in touch with a young woman who helped me schedule an appointment for Saturday. Her English was very broken and I had a hard time making up exactly what she was saying, but we agreed on a time and I was excited to give this place a shot. Upon arrival, I noticed that there was only one manicurist working (pretty surprising for a Saturday in Lincoln Park!). She started the water for my pedicure and asked me to check the water temperature before we began-- a courteous gesture. However, her tone and demeanor completely changed when another pair of clients walked into the salon and said they, too, have appointments for the same time as me. Without offering an apology or trying to clarify the situation, the manicurist (who never introduced herself, so I'm unsure of her name) told me that my appointment was booked for the wrong weekend and that I have to leave. I was stunned at her lack of empathy or understanding about the situation. I apologized for the mixup. The two young women that walked in were also very frazzled by the interaction. They were surprised only one manicurist was working and chose to leave the salon for another across the street. They generously offered to let me take one of their slots and I agreed. The manicurist was visibly upset and it made the entire experience incredibly uncomfortable. The salon is completely silent-- no music, no TV (it apparently broke a few days ago?), and no conversation. My appointment was an hour and 45 minutes of complete silence. Holy crap. The woman was in no rush to complete my nails. She answered several phone calls during our appointment, including personal ones on her cellphone, and failed to evenly coat or trim my nails. This was the first time I've ever had a manicurist cause my cuticles to bleed. I'm now worried about a possible infection. When my nails were put under the black light, I noticed that almost every nail had bubbles or lines where the polish was unevenly coated. I've never, ever noticed that when getting my nails done elsewhere. I made comments about this, but was more or less ignored. This isn't visibly noticeable without a black light, but you can definitely tell when looking at my nails up close. I also noticed spots on my nails where my old nail polish is still present. One of my nails even has a weird jagged dent that was completely left untouched. Overall, I LOVE the color of my nail polish but unfortunately nothing else. I don't see myself coming back and I wish no other customers experience a similar inferacti UPDATE: my gel nail polish chipped within 5 days of getting them done. This is the first time I've EVER experienced a chip from a gel polish. read more

Threading Point Salon has been my favorite place in the city to get any threading/wax services done. I've been coming to this place for 3 years now and am always met with great service and affordable prices. Can't recommend this place enough! read more

This has been my spot for the last 4 years, but it has changed recently. The last 3 times that I've been, the owner has not been there, so my eyebrows services have been done by others. For the price to be $17 before tip, and it is not the same quality as it used to be, is not worth it. I've never had any complaints about this place until recently. I did not mind paying a little extra for my eyebrows, but the price is no longer matching the service quality. read more

Mid-priced Threading. I'm very happy they were open and available! With a cold face, my first FULL FACE threading didn't hurt. Lots of fuzzies. A hereditary lone long white whisker sticks out. Best manicure and pedicure ever. They also offer threading and facials. Susanna is an amazing manicurist

Firstly I would give this place five stars or more if I had an option for their customer service and treatment to their clients I've been coming to threading point for my nails, waxing and threading for a little over a year and every time I go anywhere else for nochip I remember why I stay here! My nails look so beautiful every single time and they never chip, unless I wait a month or more. I moved and went to a different place that was within walking distance to my new place and I regretted being too lazy to just get on the bus to come here. Not only is the product amazing, but the environment is so lovely. It is a place that is always full of laughter and joy. The prices are affordable too. Ayesha and sabiha does my nails pretty frequently, but no matter who does them I know they're going to look perfect! read more

Very impressed by the service of this threading salon! I came by as a walk-in on a Saturday for eyebrow threading and my turn came about in less than 5 mins. They did a very thorough job with shaping my eyebrows and making sure both sides were even. Eyebrow threading costs $12 but there's a student discount of 15% off if you show your student ID! You also get $10 off of a service after 10 visits. Parking: easy, free residential parking on nearby side streets Overall: I'd definitely come back to this location for future eyebrow threading! read more

Purchased the Gel Mani & Pedicure from Groupon for $45. The staff was absolutely wonderful! Sabina did my pedicure, she was very professional. She took her time with my toes. I am a creature of habit. When my threading salon of over 10 years went out of business recently, I was dreading finding a new salon. Turned to yelp to find that this place is less than 5 minutes from my home. A +++++ experience. Owner painlessly threaded my eyebrow. This is the first time I can honestly say I experienced NO pain with threading. Beautiful job- I'm thrilled not only with the experience but how my brows look. LOVE LOVE LOVE Threading Point Salon!! Okay, so I was searching for my go to nail salon for the lonnnggesssttt. I tried many places, including Nail Junky, (whom I think are awesome asf too) but in personal opinion, I think they are just a tad bit overpriced. Obviously, you get what you pay for but I can honestly say that I truly found my happy medium when I started coming to Threading Point Salon. Ever since I stepped foot into this place it was like "HALLELUJAH". Great prices. Great deals. Great service. Great work. And most of all AMAZING people, especially the owner Ayesha. That's my girl! Ayesha and her employees are always on point with their shit and tbh even if you have ONE complaint about something, they DEFINITELY go out of their way to make sure you leave COMPLETELY satisfied. For example: I had gotten a no chip mani done to be all festive for Halloween. Went home to shower, scrubbed my head, and the paint from both index fingers got caught onto my hair and tore off a bit. I messaged Ayesha right away to let her know what happened and asked if I could come in the next day to get those two nails fixed. She then contacted me the next morning, apologized, and asked if I could come in to redo my nails completely. So of course, I thanked her for offering that to me and I flew my butt right over. I got them redone for FREE (they came out perfect) and they lasted me 3 weeks before the paint even started lifting/peeling. Thank you Threading Point Salon for being the best!! read more
