I spotted some Silver Falls for around $2.50, which wasn't a bad deal, though most of the plants tend to be on the higher end. Still, the quality and atmosphere are hard to beat. The pottery and planter selection is gorgeous!, and the little shop inside is full of charm (curated clothing, glassware, and home pieces) that feel effortless but elevated. Right next to Tiny Boxwoods and Tiny's Milk and Cookies, so it's perfect for a relaxing browse before grabbing a treat or lunch. Great stop for a little inspiration (and maybe a splurge!). read more

I was needing some plant therapy so stopped by and their nursery is filled to the brim with gorgeous color and great varieties of herbs, flowers, plants and pots. Big range of prices but range from $2.25 and up. I was admiring their big selection of Berg pottery, which is made in Italy. They share a lot with Tiny Boxwood, but they have designated spots for their nursery. They tally up the plants and then you take the ticket and pay inside. The staff are helpful and will offer to wheel your purchases to your car, place paper under the plants, and put the planties inside your car. Highly recommended for planty people! This has to be the cutest plant/flower shop ever. Everything here is just absolutely adorable and the prices aren't bad! They're closed on Mondays but some websites haven't changed the operating days. It's pretty much a plant shop in the morning and Tiny's for dinner! Beautiful nursery next to a brunch place. They have a large variety of sizes and types of plants. I have gotten mint plants, rosemary, multiple succulent varieties, marigolds, and more from this shop. I like that I can choose from small, medium, or large succulents. They have plants in temporary containers as well as beautifully arranged pots already in planters. They also have a nice variety of planters. They also drilled holes (for drainage) in some planters I bought that didn't have holes, for free! The staff is also knowledgeable about plant care! read more

Yes, this place can be $$$$ but man do I love what they offer. Their buyer has a fantastic eye for the simple and elegant when it comes to their jewelry, clothing, bags and things you didn't know you needed! I have called in the past to check on an item to see if it was in stock, it wasn't but just a few days later received a call that the item was back and that they had been placed on hold for me. While I was in the shop I asked if one of the rugs came in another size, they are calling to follow up. I find that they're busy and yes, they have their regulars that they're super friendly with but I've also found that they leave me alone when I'm quiet but always happy to help if I ask. Today I purchased a lovely spring dress. When I mentioned a slip underneath the sales associate pulled one out of a drawer that was absolutely perfect. My only complaint is that they don't have another location closer to me! read more

Thompson + Hanson is just the most adorable and charming nursery ever. It is definitely the fanciest nursery I have ever been to and I am sure others agree! I was surprised to find that they have such a wide selection of beautiful plants, ones that I have not seen before in other nurseries in Houston. Prices seem a little steep, but I always expect that whenever I am visiting a nursery, especially an elegant one. I am not sure of the quality and longevity of their plants since I have yet to buy one from Thompson + Hanson, but if you are looking for a special plant or looking to add some gorgeous greenery to your home, this is the place to look! read more

What a beautifully tranquil and charming nursery and shop! In need of the perfect plant for a cocktail table on my veranda, Google led me to this gem, tucked away in the River Oaks vicinity. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, and the very personalized customer service was simply top-notch. Everything was very neat and well-organized, and the outdoor nursery really feels like someone 's country garden. Inside the little shop, the scents were spa-like intoxicating. They sell candles, home decor, and clothing. I wish I'd had more time to browse, because it really is lovely and relaxing. If you love the feel of Fixer Upper's Magnolia style, I think you'll love this place too. I'll definitely be back :) read more

First approach to an employee I felt rushed and he wasn't very helpful. Second approach to a different employee and he was really nice and really informative!!! All staff wear masks from what I can see and the place is clean and organized. One of the plants I bought already had brown tips but it was the healthiest looking one of the bunch. They also didn't have a lot of the "beginner-friendly" plants I was looking for. But I was happy with the plant I left with, I just wish it didn't have so many brown tips to begin with. read more

Worlds worst customer service. Called for an appointment and it took two phone calls and three plus weeks for someone to get back with me. Finally got an appointment for another two weeks out. They sent the poorest representative to meet with me. She was to get back to me within a week. 4 weeks later I called and she was supposed to come to measure and never did. Finally she came out and returned by house plans two more weeks later. I phoned and she assured me she would communicate with me on the progress. This was a 50-75k landscaping job. Finally today, two more weeks went by and I left her a text not to bother, I already found someone. She made excuse after excuse and kept saying she was just slammed. I can't imagine they do any business at all with this type of service. I can only imagine how long it would take her to actually complete the job. They came highly recommended but I just don't get it. Her name was I believe Anna Marie and Eva took at least on of my complaint phone call and most likely never let her supervisor know. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars over the years at both there retail store but mainly at there wholesale nursery. NEVER AGAIN! I called the number 1 landscaper. He came personally to meet with me and offered many ideas. I was so confident I wrote him a check for 1500.00 to start work on plans. I should have back within a week. Now I know why they are number 1. I wish I could give no stars but yelp wont allow. read more

I got all kinds of cool plants there. And I get so many complements on some color bowls I did for outside of our building. The plants they have are very well taken care of, not like the half dead and never watered ones at Home Depot! When I've gone 2 days in a row, it was like half the stuff was different! They're always re-stocking! Knowledgeable staff answer questions and make suggestions. I got lots of stuff for less than $50 on one trip. I went to this nursery place few weeks ago to buy plants for my new house. This store really does have a huge variety of plants and flowers and trees but the customer service is still to improve. The employees of this place seem to avoid any contact with customers to answer any questions. When they do they sound reasonable and knowledge but very unpleasant. Everything is overpriced, and the prices they ask you for at the register sometimes do not match the prices they list on the plants. Don't waste your money! I've had the WORST service at this store! I bought an antique mirror which the salesperson said she would hold for a week while I was out of town. When I got back in town, I found it had been sent to storage (without any protective wrap) as nobody knew it was sold! The salesperson was rude and very condescending and the manager wouldn't make it right by having it delivered to my home (although it had to be delivered from storage to the store anyway). Against my better judgement I ordered 2 preserved topiary balls at the same visit and was told they would take several months to arrive. I called today (3 months later) and was told the order was lost and thus never placed. Although the store has nice things, there are many other stores in Houston. Both of my experiences were horrible!! read more

Came in today looking for some container plants - I was greeted and helped by a very nice gentleman named Steve , he instantly knew what combinations worked best . inside the store was amazing , so pretty and they have every dreamy candle you could ask for .
