I enjoyed seeing the optometrists I saw. I visited Bella for no other reasons other than my yearly eye exam. I think I went a total of twice in a three year period. Seriously, no issues. BUT. There's always a "but" with these types of reviews, ammaright? I recently chose to switch optometrists to one that was more convenient and where my wife had a great experience. TWO WEEKS before my appointment, I contacted Bella through their website requesting my records - even if it was just copies of my last Rx. Nothing. Heard nothing. Then, about three days before my appointment, I CALLED. I left a detailed message with all my information. Guess what?! Yep. You got it. No return call, no email, no records sent in the mail. Am I too "old school" calling and asking for records!? Maybe. I mean, my new optometrists office scanned my glasses to determine my rx with no issues. But I emailed you, I called. No response. Overall, good experiences, but let down in the end.

I had to go back because there was something wrong with my and I had got a contact stuck in the top of my eye and he got it out. I initially went in about four months ago for a new prescription that didn't feel right. I reached out, and to their credit, they offered to bring me back in to reassess. However, what they failed to clearly communicate was that there is no in-person doctor on site -- I was seen virtually, something I was not expecting from a vision care provider. My appointment was at 4:30 PM. I didn't walk out until 6:30 PM. That would have been understandable if the time had been spent providing attentive care, but that was far from the case. The person performing the exam was dismissive and borderline rude. When I told her the new contacts they gave me were blurry, she snapped, "Well, I just checked your eyes," as if that should have settled it. I told her they were worse than when I walked in, and she had no response. To make matters worse, I noticed she placed the contact lens boxes incorrectly -- the right eye lens was placed on the left and vice versa. She didn't communicate this at all, so I likely wore the lenses in the wrong eyes during the first test. The second time, I happened to catch her doing it and asked for clarification -- and she admitted she'd switched them. By then, I was completely distracted and uncomfortable. No one -- not the technician, not the virtual doctor -- noticed that I had never removed my previous contacts before putting in the new ones. I didn't realize it until I got home. That kind of oversight is unacceptable and potentially harmful. This is not the level of care or professionalism I expect, especially after a decade of loyalty. The lack of communication, the dismissive attitude, and the carelessness I experienced are enough for me to take my business elsewhere. I would strongly caution others before trusting their vision needs to this office.

I no longer have the broken glasses so the new glasses wont be issued and Im now also being told I will not be issued a refund for the glasses or warranty for a restocking fee. No where is it stated there would be a restocking fee. So a paid warranty and paid glasses. When I call location for corporate number Im told they can not give it the manager has to put a ticket in to receive this information. Highly unlikely!!! In this climate every dollar counts.
