I've been a loyal client of Omni VisionSource for over 10 years, but after my most recent experience, I can no longer recommend them -- and I will not be returning. I initially went in about four months ago for a new prescription that didn't feel right. I reached out, and to their credit, they offered to bring me back in to reassess. However, what they failed to clearly communicate was that there is no in-person doctor on site -- I was seen virtually, something I was not expecting from a vision care provider. My appointment was at 4:30 PM. I didn't walk out until 6:30 PM. That would have been understandable if the time had been spent providing attentive care, but that was far from the case. The person performing the exam was dismissive and borderline rude. When I told her the new contacts they gave me were blurry, she snapped, "Well, I just checked your eyes," as if that should have settled it. I told her they were worse than when I walked in, and she had no response. To make matters worse, I noticed she placed the contact lens boxes incorrectly -- the right eye lens was placed on the left and vice versa. She didn't communicate this at all, so I likely wore the lenses in the wrong eyes during the first test. The second time, I happened to catch her doing it and asked for clarification -- and she admitted she'd switched them. By then, I was completely distracted and uncomfortable. No one -- not the technician, not the virtual doctor -- noticed that I had never removed my previous contacts before putting in the new ones. I didn't realize it until I got home. That kind of oversight is unacceptable and potentially harmful. This is not the level of care or professionalism I expect, especially after a decade of loyalty. The lack of communication, the dismissive attitude, and the carelessness I experienced are enough for me to take my business elsewhere. Customers beware!!!! Before now I have not had any bad service from this company or location. This did not happen at this location but can only assume this is practice at a company level. I had the warranty for my sons glasses and have paid for his broken glasses. I no longer have the broken glasses so the new glasses wont be issued and Im now also being told I will not be issued a refund for the glasses or warranty for a restocking fee. No where is it stated there would be a restocking fee. So a paid warranty and paid glasses. When I call location for corporate number Im told they can not give it the manager has to put a ticket in to receive this information. Highly unlikely!!! I went to Omni because it was recommended by my daughter. I went to get my eyes checked and a referral for strabismus correction. Four months later, no referrals or any word from the Omni doctor. I had patiently waited four months (I am 73). Now, four months later my lenses are so worn with the current winds/dirt, I cannot see and need them replaced. When I went to get them replaced, I was told the original prescription was outdated and I had to get ANOTHER appointment to get a "new" prescription. (The Omni doctor did not give me a prescription because she said I was getting the referrals). I cannot afford to make another eye appointment. I called Omni, absolutely NO help, NO offer to provide a prescription from February. read more

Omni Vision on Potranco is where I have always gone for my glasses prescription. The doctors are thorough and precise, and I never feel rushed. They do have some frames in the store, but I usually go to check the health of my eyes, and the Doctors here do a great job. read more

I cannot stress how happy I was with my vision exam. I have seen two prior doctors and Dr. Tran has been the first to actually listen to me and my symptoms. The two other eye doctors told me what's best for me based on my vision exam. When I have reported the Rx does not work they say "I have to get use to it". I felt like the Rx given to me made my vision "lazy" because the prescription was more than what I actually needed. Dr. Tran worked with me and gave me a Rx I felt comfortable with and agreed with. Then, when we were coming into our rescheduled appointment, we were 11 minutes late due to traffic and the staff was EXTREMELY rude and said sorry, your past ten minutes, we cannot see you. I really needed to get my eyes checked given I was having some difficulty. I made a few calls to other businesses and Omni Vision just made me feel comfortable. I called, given I was a new patient, and asked many questions and each person answered all of my questions and were very helpful. Due to a busy schedule, I needed the next available appointment. I made my appointment with Dr. Sundip Patel and he was wonderful! I was very honest about my vision, meaning when I knew I couldn't read the letters I said nope, nope, until I was comfortable. He was patient with me and provided a lot of information. Overall, the best experience I've ever had going to an eye doctors appointment. Thank you Omni Vision. Staff was wonderful! I had the worst experience here among all the health related appointments I had in life. Couple of years back I was seen by Dr Violet and she was amazing. This year she was unavailable. So I was seen by another doctor Sundip Patel. I should have read the reviews before I scheduled the appointment. After the visit I felt uneasy because he somewhat felt rude. Then I checked the reviews, found out other people also reviewed him rude and condescending. Even after that I went for second time due to contact lenses exam with him. The process was a trial set will be given to me from the store. I went to the store for the fitting. After wearing the lenses I saw everything blurry and floating. That day available doctor was Dr. Green. He told me to take off the contacts. He gave me another eye exam from the very beginning. He adjusted the powers and told me my results show different than Dr.Patel and similar to Dr. Violet. Now I was given different sets of contacts. I was good till then. Today I went to the store to get the prescriptions for both the glass lenses and contact lenses. They did give me glass prescription from Dr. Patel. When I asked why they didn't give me right one from Dr.Green. They told me they don't have it because the doctor only adjusted the contacts. I told them as per his instructions I took off my contacts and then he examined me from the very beginning. He told me his diagnosis is different than Dr. Patel. Now they can't give me my corrected prescription. As Dr Green is a visiting doctor they don't know when he will be there. So I am without my correct prescription now. My insurance paid for the annual eye exam. Though they told me I can get another exam with $95 out of pocket. Because they don't have my correct prescription I have to pay! What a joke! Never going back there. Few people told me omni vision not friendly to patients. Now I see why. I went there because of Dr Violet. But with this kind of patient service never going there and telling everyone I know to stay away from. read more

Very nice staff! I already had my prescription didn't need an eye exam, so they gathered my insurance info while I was looking for frames. They have a good variety of name brand frames (took me a while to decide). Once I decided on my frames a cheerful staff member sat me down, went over my balance, and took measurements. The whole process was very quick on their part, and not to mention my glasses were ready the next day. Very pleased with my experience! read more

Have come here for the last 3 years. I usually don't have a great nor bad experience with the staff or doctors. I went in last month for my appointment with my family and only mine was booked. I explained that I called and scheduled them all when I called. She explained to me that only I had the appointment. I get if there was a mistake on their end but not at any point they she try to offer a solution or say "hey we are booked today but we can schedule it for ...date" She just repeated that only I had the appointment. I pushed some errands over to get to these appointments just to find out someone didn't do their job. I just walked away and took my business elsewhere. I hate people wasting my time. If I'm buying myself and my family expensive eyewear might as well be somewhere with better customer service. read more

I can not say enough good things about Dr Than and his office staff. I chose this office based on reviews and location originally, I will continue to visit due to the quality of service. My daughter came to get her first glasses from them and everyone was extremely helpful. She has gotten 2 pairs of glasses and both times the staff specifically Shawn and Patricia have taken the time to find a pair of glasses that work for children, fit her face and are part of our insurance. Turn around for receiving frames with new prescription is extremely quick. Also you can purchase a frame from the other location and pick it up at the Potranco location I later sought them out for an emergency eye visit and I was seen with in 2 hours of making the phone call. read more

I called to make an appointment with their central scheduling. I said which lace I wanted to go....they scheduled me at another office which I did not find out about until I arrived at where I had asked to be scheduled. Once I got to where I was actually scheduled it went from bad to worse. I need an exam for contacts and glasses. Glasses were no sweat. They had me try some contacts and scheduled me to come back in a week. I told them these contact were not working & they gave me another pair to try. They said to call if these didn't work. These contacts also didn't work & called to tell them the next day & they said they would get with the doctor and call me back. I didn't hear anything for a week & then it took another week to get another appointment. If you are only looking for glasses, go ahead and go here. However contacts are a whole other story. read more

Even though they have like 20 pages at the entrance of everything, they don't have one for 0 tolerance on pets . As soon I walk in , the desk receptionist told me pets are not allowed. I stay outside with my dog and my wife went in , And after that , she was also acting like is she was doing us a favor . 0 customer service !!! read more

I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a wide array of beautiful glasses and a wonderful optometrist. Initally, I called Omni Vision to ask if I needed an appointment to get a prescription filled. Stephanie was very friendly and professional and said I did not and asked me several questions regarding insurance. When I arrived at the store, I was immediately greeted by very friendly faces. I told them that I was there to get a prescription filled. I showed them my Rx and Stephanie remembered me and said she had all my information. There were so many different styles of frames. She and Patricia were very helpful giving me their opinions as I tried them on. I took my time, and they were very patient with me. I finally settled on a pair. Upgrades and pricing were carefully articulated to me. I love my new pair of glasses! The facility is easy to find. It's right next to the Texaco. The facility is clean and modern and their selection of frames decorate the walls. Picking up my glasses was just as easy as ordering them. read more

I chose Omni Vision off Potranco and 151 based on the rating. I'm glad to report the Yelp review was accurate to the service and professionalism. Dr Rouphial was knowledgeable and made clever suggestions. She was patient,friendly and very easy to speak with, especially that I came in feeing uncertain. She made sure I was comfortable with my decisions. The young man who ordered my frames and lenses was helpful and made my options clear. He made it easy to understand my insurance benefits and my out of pocket responsibility. Omni Vision is the 4th eye exam place I've tried in two years because prior drs couldn't get my fit right and wouldn't satisfy my preferences. They'd claim my rx wouldn't allow for any options or flexibility. Dr Rouphail had creative suggestions which resulted in a comfortable fit for my uneven/mix match eye issues.
