This was my first This Bowl experience. My coworker told me about it and I was skeptical that it was all hype. I was wrong. Think poké bowl but I guess Australian? You better believe the Midtown lunch crowd is long but these guys are bowl making machines. You're never waiting too long for your food. My first bowl was the OG with salmon sashimi, chili jam, and wasabi. I had my base of sushi rice. The bowl was HEAVY. It was enough food for two meals for me. I highly recommend these guys.

Long line during weekday lunchtime, but moves very fast. My salad was ready pretty quickly too. Nice and clean inside. Not a fan of spending $20 everyday on a slop bowl, but this place might just change my mind.

Newish location of This Bowl opened up in Midtown East! It can get pretty busy around dinner time but the team is efficient. There a ton of other slop bowls in the area, but this one feels higher quality and is definitely a great addition to the area.

As a corporate girl, I am always looking for my next staple slop bowl. I had extremely high hopes for this bowl, as many of my friends have recommended it to me. However, due to long lines at this location I don't believe the wait and price is worth what you get. Don't get me wrong this bowl is good. The o.g. is basically an expensive Poke bowl. Nothing wrong with that, but I don't think I will be coming back soon. There also is not room to sit there, so I had to bring it back to my office. A nice touch though is that the owner of This Bowl took my order, which I did feel like said a lot about how much they care!

Fresh and satisfying bowls. The line can get long, but the staff is busy putting the custom bowls together. I tried the OG and the miso salmon, both were great and healthy. There's are a few seats of you want to eat in. Will return.

Classic viral restaurant but good place for grab and go or quick lunch. Nice different option than salad as healthy takeaway with good flavor and quality ingredients. Small seating but good to take away. Overall good quality as I enjoyed a salmon bowl- would defs recommend for a lunch

i LOVE a slop bowl and this was a good one. got the O.G. bowl with chicken and all the toppings were very yummy. chicken was a bit dry unfortunately but otherwise the bowl was super flavorful (not too salty tho) and good! red poke is still my preferred nyc slop bowl choice but this is a close second!

We perused the menu and decided to go with the Naan, Beet and Rhubarb Salad, Yellowfin Sashimi, and then entrees grit cakes, low country broil, and dumplings. The food was exceptional. Nice combinations of flavors with fresh ingredients. Ambiance is nice. It's a cute spot, not too loud. Definitely a nice spot to relax. Service was fantastic. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. My mom also has an allergy to chili and the staff was nice enough to go through the menu and help her pick options that worked. Overall, highly recommend Lola's! Lovely staff, flavorful food and a cute atmosphere will make for a fun evening.

The ambiance was great and I loved watching the food being cooked. Service was 10/10 and our waitress was really attentive. Apologies that her name is slipping me at the moment. I wish they had more items to choose from but overall would recommend. I had the low country boil and my friend had the pork dumplings and grit cakes, all very delicious. I will come back for the fried chicken thighs

When my son told me he'd found an apartment in New York, I was thrilled for him, then he mentioned it was above an Irish bar that stayed open until 4 a.m. I honestly didn't know what to expect. I made plans to help him move in, and not only was I pleasantly surprised, I quickly realized this was one of the nicest neighborhood spots in the city. Great drinks, good food, and consistently friendly service. It has everything you want in a local bar. Everyone is welcoming, friendly, and the vibe is just right. A quick FYI...don't let those $5 happy-hour espresso martinis fool you. They're delicious, but they definitely pack a punch. There are great drink specials during the week, and of course, perfectly poured, ice-cold Guinness on tap. Whenever I'm in town and waiting for my son, I stop in and they always remember me. You can't ask for better service than that. If you're anywhere near 29th between Park and Madison, this place is an absolute must-stop.
