    10 medium sauce "wings"

Going downhill fast. My wife and I have been going to thirsty turtle for years. The wings have been excellent until recently. I think they have switched suppliers. I hope this restaurant is not buying from Sysco. Today's wings look like zombie mutations. Disproportionate size and broken bones throughout. When you order wings, you are lucky if you receive one or two actual wings as the order is typically 90% drums. We often order the clams appetizer, but today's clams seem to be filled with more sand than actual clam and are tiny about the size of a fingernail compared to what this restaurant offered a year or so ago. I am very disappointed in what was hopefully a refreshing restaurant for this area is turning out to become another cost-cutting chain serving Sysco style mutated chicken. Pictures of the zombie chicken are included.

Thirsty Turtle is located in Juno Beach, but we tried this Loxahatchee location. Restaurant was clean, girl and guy servers were so polite and helpful. We felt welcomed. Ordered and got our food pretty quickly. Wings were outstanding and appetizers delicious. Thanks for a perfect night out. Cup of Chili - best thing we had!!!! this chili was from heaven above!!! Cup of Conch soup - this was ok Fried Mushrooms appetizer - so delicious, crispy and flavorful Hot wings - crispy and perfect, award winning Po'Boy Sandwich - tasted fishy but good French Fries - nice and crispy Beer special - domestic

Great experience tonight we came for happy hour and decided to order some food. I ordered the wings, hot with blue cheese. My wife ordered the chicken Philly with mushrooms, peppers and onions. We both had drinks from the happy hour list The food came out quickly and looked perfect. My wings were worm but not really hot, let's say they were a little spicy but very good. The sauce is not like any I've ever tasted. Very good. My wife loved the chicken Philly sandwich. We shared her French fríes and the meal was delicious. Our servers name is Kristen and she was delightful, she is definitely an assist to the restaurant staff.

Glad to finally have a new place out here. Been a few times and mostly very good! Hard to get a seat at the bar, though.

I had a great time at Voodoo Bayou for happy hour. The bar…read morearea is a nice size with both indoor and outdoor seating, creating a fun and comfortable atmosphere. The drinks were very well made, and I especially enjoyed the Snake Oil Salesman cocktail, it tasted like a delicious spicy margarita. The happy hour food specials were excellent. The baked garlic butter oysters and Rockefeller oysters were both very good and such a great deal. The deviled eggs and Gumbo Ya Ya were also full of flavor and definitely worth trying. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive, which made the experience even better. Overall, a fantastic happy hour spot with great drinks, tasty food, and a lively vibe. I'll definitely be back!

Smoked wings were cooked perfectly!! Hint of Smoke and juicy!!! Deviled eggs w Caviar and Black Truffle are not what they are cracked up to be. Just a basic deviled egg taste. Couldnt taste and truffle or caviar. Good but Not worth the price point. Grilled Cheese Oysters were delicious!!! Came out piping hot and when eaten, the are between raw and cooked. So tender and sweet w a parm cheese crust!!! Definitely would buy again! Gumbo- was waaaaay over peppered. The flavor was good w perfectly cooked shrimp but the black pepper was overwhelming the dish. Past experiences, the Gumbo has been one of the best, but not tonight. Now the main reason to visit Voodoo. The beignets- 5 per serving, comes out piping hot covered in powder sugar!!! So light and puffy and each bite melts in your mouth. If I didnt know, I would think there was some type of creme inside! These are NOT like the donut style most places serve. These are pillows of goodness that melts in your mouth. Tip: You must eat them hot!!! If you want very good Cajun food, try Voodoo Bayou!

The oysters and claims were really fresh. Seared Dicer sea scallops was on point with presentation and taste. The others two dish was just not my type of taste but it was still good quality.

The ambiance is nice, its very much a sports bar with indoor and outdoor seating. The dining area indoors is comfortable and upscale. Tonight was not great, as they were fullly booked inside and it was incredibly loud from all the guests. Unfortunately it was cold and dreary outside so the outdoor seating was not ideal either. Now for the reasons for the 1 star review. Service was terrible. To start, we asked if they could move 1 of the rolling heaters closer to our table since they had half a dozen that were not being utilized at all. They told us they can't move them, which is reasonable. So we asked if they could turn of the ceiling fan above our table and they said they would. The entire time we were there they never turned off the fan. Our waiter was often nowhere to be found. We had to ask another server for water and condiments after waiting for 20mins for ours to return. When the food arrived, my soup was someone mistakenly ceviche, which they did rectify fairly quickly. The mayo another member at our table requested was missing, and was never brought out. After waiting for some time to see our waiter again to ask for a box and the check, I finally walked inside the restaurant to look for him and he was still nowhere to be found. 5mins later he returned to our table. We asked for a box and the check.l and he took are leftovers to box them up. At this point, everyone was cold and ready to go so I told them to wait in the car while I paid the check and grabbed our leftovers. 10mins later, our waiter returned with the boxxed up food but no check. I asked again for the check. He disappeared for another 8minsz and while I was just sitting at an empty table alone with a togo bag another server asked if everything was ok, and I said I was just waiting for the check. When our waiter finally returned with the check I attempted to hand him my card to pay since I was beyond ready to go at this point and he refused to take it saying he had to colleft the tab from another table that has been waiting before me. I waited another 4mins for him to return to finally let me pay and leave. Never have I had so much trouble simply attempting to pay and leave a restaurant. I'll mention that while it was busy when we arrived, by the time I was trying to leave almost all the tables were unoccupied. The entire experience just left me feeling disrespected and I have no intention of returning to Spotos again. TLDR; food is good, but the service was some of the worst I have ever experienced in my life. I will not be eating here again or recommending it.

We used to really enjoy Hooked, but unfortunately this visit was a letdown…read more From the start, the bartender (Olivia) came across very cold--no smile, no welcoming energy, just going through the motions. Service felt flat the entire time. I specifically asked for very light ice in my drink and even said I didn't care if the glass wasn't full. The drink still came out packed with ice, and I had to ask for a separate cup and spoon to fix it myself--which shouldn't happen. What really stood out was the lack of attention. We were there for about 35 minutes, and not once did she come back to check on us--no "How is everything?" and no offer for another drink. Meanwhile, she spent more time in the back talking with a coworker than actually servicing her customers. There was also confusion when we asked for the check, which just added to the overall disorganization. What's disappointing is that this place used to have a much better vibe--staff like Denise made it feel welcoming and enjoyable. That's clearly changed. The new staff just doesn't bring the same level of service or personality. The food and location still have potential, but service makes or breaks a place--and right now, it's missing. "Service isn't just part of the experience--it is the experience."
