The wings truly are the best there is. Thirsty turtle has been the go-to spot for my boyfriend and I. We were so excited for this location to open so close to home. We have been several times and I feel like I'm not as happy with it as I had hoped. First of all, one thing that is really frustrating is that you can't order all flats or all drums for the wings. Which I understand why except that every time we order wings we keep getting mostly drums (which we prefer flats). It has happened 3 times now that we ordered 10 wings and got 1-2 flats. We mentioned it to the bartender the first time and the issue has not been fixed. What's the point of not offering all flats or drums when they just seem to throw random wings on a plate anyway? Customer service is okay, but I have had better. We went a few weeks ago to watch the NY Mets play in their division to go to the playoffs. They have sports all over but didn't pay for premium package and I had to stream the game from my phone instead... I thought this was suppose to be a sports bar? read more

The food and service are good. The prices are high compared to competitors, also watch out for additional charges for using a credit card. I would not have an issue being charge for the convenience fee if it was up front, not a surprise at bill time. I will not be returning due to lack transparency and taking advantage of their customers. Be up front if you want to push business cost onto your customers. read more

After reading the many reviews about this establishment, I feel people are setting the standards to high for what is obviously a neighborhood bar/restaurant to be favored by the locals who are in much need of this place. Until the available dining choices catch up with the enormous amount of resdential growth out west, the Thirsty Turtle offers a great atmosphere for a pub style lunch and/or dinner for families looking to not travel to far from home. Each time I have been there the service has been friendly and attentive. We have eaten at both the bar and in the dining room with no complaints regarding service or food. Being a fairly new restaurant, I only felt it fair to wait until I visited several times to make an educated evaluation. I recommend the Thirsty Turtle for its consistency with its food and service which is exactly what one should expect from a neighborhood "sports bar" type of venue. If you are looking for a more exclusive 5-Star dining experience, might I suggest you travel further east to Palm Beach Gardens. read more

This is not the same owners as the original in Juno. That being said, the food is mediocre, ( except Nachos which honestly a child could make) and service not great . The burgers, even the Juno location taste of gas, and not edible. This area needs great food. It's sorely lacking. And this is a disappointment. read more

Please tell me what the hype is? Clearly this restaurant was ripe for a bar...as that was jammed. We had high hopes as the menu looked great. Service issues aside as they were pretty ballsy to try to open up now when no one can find help....the food was seriously mediocre at best. Bacon and Jalepeno Mac and cheese sounds like something I could live on. Not this time tho. Watery penne with no bacon flavor at all. The clam strips were more like clam threads. You could hardly find the clam (and coming from the northeast I know what clam strips should be!). The wings is what I heard they were known for, but I don't get why...as for the service issue...let's leave it that some servers in that place appear to be awesome. Ours left a lot to be desired. She took forever to get to our table. Took our drinks a while but bar was busy. I guess what made me mad is I saw her spending lots of time standing outside and talking to one particular table. Our food was put out while she was out there. It was missing an item and I figured she'd be checking in momentarily so I started nibbling as I was starve....alas I nibbled over half the burger and was pretty full by the time that she got back. I did ask for another glass of wine. (The first I did get for free as they were out of that one and there was half a glass left). I ordered it and she went back out. We've been here as a family twice. The first time, we waited more than 40 minutes to be seated--but, it was a Friday night. However, the hosts/hostesses were very inattentive. When we approached the hostess stand, the young girls were on their phones and literally ignored us standing there for several minutes until I asked if they were still seating. Once we finally saw our waitress, her service was GREAT--they were swamped. The next time we went, tonight--here is our experience: my husband, son, and myself came to the restaurant around 7:20 pm. We went inside to the hostess stand, and 3 out of the 4 people standing there ignored us, on their phones and engaged in very 'personal' conversations, until my husband said, "Excuse me, can we put our name in for a table?" The girl replied, "We only have tables outside,". I said that was ok as long as we weren't forgotten out there. She said nothing in reply, and sent us outside. There were no menus out there, silverware, or table, top anything and she came back about three or four minutes later and gave us menus. I asked her could we please get some water, as we have been waiting for like 45 minutes without anything to drink, And she looked right at me and said no, I am not your server. And she walked away about 10 or 15 minutes later, still no server, a bus boy with a man bun, came out there and cleared a table and I said to him, "hey, they didn't forget about us did they? " he just looked at me and did not say anything. When I came back from washing my hands in the bathroom, no one had been to the table yet and now we had been out there sitting for 20 minutes on the patio and no one had stopped by. So I went to the bar and ordered drinks for my family. the bartender waited on us and a prompt manner. However, she wasn't very nice and when she poured my glass of wine, she left it literally back by where you had poured drinks on the service station and I couldn't reach it but, she had no problem, placing the check or I could reach it. I went back outside and still no one had even stopped by to bring us anything or see if we needed anything so as we sat there, I saw that a table right behind the hostess station had opened up so I made my family pick up our stuff and we moved in there no one acknowledges for at least 10 to 12 minutes. But when someone finally did, Devon was the bomb!!! He was the most attentive waiter I have had, and forever!! The guy deserves a serious race, because honestly, if everyone had the enthusiasm and kindness that he does, the restaurant would make a fortune but unfortunately the first people that greet new customers don't seem to care and they seem bothered by the guests. They are immature young girls, or boys playing on their phones and they don't seem to realize the importance of their job. First and last time ordering from this over-hyped sh** show. Ordered delivery with a friend. My part of the order was an "Apache Burger" with coleslaw side and an onion soup. First, we're just down the block and the food arrived stone cold. The burger is supposed to be smothered with chili and covered with cheddar. The burger arrived looking too thin to have any chili on it so we peeled back the melted cheese and beheld literally two chili (red) beans with a thin veneer of tomato paste spread around and a miniscule amount of beef crumble. We were astonished. The jalapenos were out of the can, not fresh, compounding the insult. We couldn't find the coleslaw side -- it had been put in the other "to go" box containing my friend's order -- but it was again a miniscule portion in a tiny plastic lidded container; the portion-size was the least of the slaw's problems, ruined by a lack of any seasoning whatsoever, except for a nasty vinegar aftertaste. This wasn't coleslaw at all; basically just shredded cabbage. Finally, the "French Onion Soup" was nasty, having the main ingredients of French onion soup, i.e., onions, cheese and bread, but none of the authentic flavor. There wasn't even onion flavor despite the generous quantity of onion. The color was off too -- this was the first nearly black onion soup I've ever seen -- but maybe Thirsty Turtle is using the rare Okeechobee black onion in its interpretation of the French classic. The origins of this "French" soup recipe may be Paris, but the execution at Thirsty Turtle is more Paris, Texas. My rating is one star, "avoid unless desperate" (desperate = you haven't eaten in a week, your car runs out of gas in Ibis Plaza and the Publix and the gas station convenience store are closed). read more

I am sad to have to post this review. They have amazing tuna salad sandwiches. There problem is service/food is never consistent. One time it's served on bread next it's huge bun! I am writing this as this past time was a mess. Ordered and appetizer and it never came asked about it and said if the food was ready then scrap it as we wanted it before our meal. We waited a really long time for 2 burgers and 2 fish sandwiches. Burger's were to be medium and they were straight up burnt and tasted like charred pucks. Waitress didn't come back for a while so we were so hungry we chocked them down. She finally showed up and asked if we needed new drinks as they had been empty she took our glasses and returned my drink to my husband and his drink to me she mixed up the glasses. We told her about the burgers and she said well you ate them and we looked at her and said you didn't bring the appetizer and didn't check on us we had to. She never offered anything no apology or anything. We spent over $70 and it will be a long time before we go back. When we got there they were more worried about bingo than the customers. If you have been going to thirsty turtle in Juno for years this place is not even close in comparison. The waitresses aren't even familiar with the way Juno Beach does their wing special at certain times of the day. Obviously, it's a different location that's fine if they don't have the same specials but they have the exact same menu and when I asked one of the girls if they do the .49 cent wing special like Juno does she didn't even know they did that or what I was even talking about. I feel like they should have people there that are familiar with the original location. That's like the OG spot how could you not know anything about that place and don't even bother asking for well done they will just burn the food to the point where it's inedible. The purpose of well done is because it seems like they always cook things a little undercooked like the fried mushrooms the batter is still liquid it's not fried all the way through. Unfortunately, this place was a disappointment. The drive to Juno is always a reason my family and I don't go anymore so when this location opened we were excited but there's really no comparison to Juno. Sad to keep up the name. Wings were okay... Juno does a great job at mixing the flavors very well it seemed like the sauce on the wings was more sweet than the flavors mixed together. Was so excited for this location to open. Sat down for lunch, got the Buffalo Chicken wrap, was decent, but not crazy impressed. It wasn't that busy, empty tables, and service was very slow. Then ordered for take out a few weeks later, ordered 30 wings, order of fries, and a Buffalo Chicken Wrap, around $80 after tip. I was waiting for it to be done, so it didn't sit. Took 5 minutes to get home, the wrap was swimming is some sort of liquid, the fries were disgustingly soggy, and the wings tasted weird, not like the Juno location. I tossed the wrap out, and put the fires in the air fryer to try to save them. Kids wouldn't touch the wings. Waste of money. They need to invest in the styrofoam containers to allow the food to not be so mushy, the plastic ones suck. And also, figure something out to help it the wraps so they don't fall apart.
