Belgians are my favorite brews when it comes to beer, and I always have to visit Thirsty Monk when I'm in Asheville. I don't know of any other Belgian breweries in NC, and Thirsty Monk is easily one of my favorites. Definitely try the Delirium's on tap!

I went into this place because I loved the logo and wanted a t shirt. While there we shared a flight. We got 2 hard seltzers and 2 beers. We chose the apple cinnamon hard seltzer and the grapefruit paloma. The paloma was my favorite. It was tart with a nice spicy finish from the serrano peppers. Loved it! The beers we chose were the czezh dark and the mocha milk stout. The milk stout was very smooth and had a nice chocolate finish. And of course we got t shirts!

I came to Asheville to visit and scope out the area to possibly move to the Carolinas and we ran into this bar and Sean the bartender was exceptional. He gave us so much information of the area and the bar itself and knowledge of the beers. He was so welcoming and conversed with us the entire time. He made us feel so welcomed and super great vibes. We had beers he recommended and beer flights. So much fun. Super chill place and would definitely come back :) P.S. ASK FOR SEAN. HE IS THE BEST!

Ehhhh.....I just could not get excited about this place. They have an downstairs and upstairs but you have to close out your tab before going upstairs. No downstairs drinks upstairs. If you like craft beer and craft cocktails then you might like this place. I ordered a glass of wine for $12 and it was overpriced and underpoured. I even asked the bartender if it was a 6 ounce pour and she said yes. Not to sure if it was. I definitely did feel like I overpaid for a pretentious pour. Our group enjoyed the patio upstairs....there is a very nice view of the mountains and sunset. I would probably not return if ever in the Asheville area.

I love Belgian beer and what an absolute find this place was. It appears smaller on the top floor but the bottom floor was a very large space. With bars on both floors (but bathrooms only on bottom level). Of course I had to get a flight!! Other than the Belgian IPA that was delicious, I really liked their lavender drink. I think it was a seltzer, but it definitely wasn't a cider.

Another downtown brewery with the Monk brew upstairs and Delirium brews downstairs. A really great place downtown Asheville. You like the Delirium Tremens... they have it on tap!

I really enjoy this place for a quick drink. I haven't made it to the basement level yet but have enjoyed both street level and rooftop areas. The rooftop area has a locker to get snacks from with purchase of a drink. The music is great, the staff is quick and knowledgable. Definitely a favorite in Asheville.

Nice craft brewery in Downtown Asheville. They have three floors of amazing collection of beers. The one in the first floor has interesting collection of taps. The lower level is their collection of Belgium beers with nice ambiance. I really like the couch and seating space where you can spend time reading books, the music is very relaxing and soothing. The top floor has nice collection of signature cocktails. In addition to all these, they also have small outdoor patio. I love their Belgium Witt and since it was a nice sunny day we grabbed a seat on their outdoor patio overlooking all the other restaurants, and shops. It's a busy street so you will also come across other friendly tourist asking for recommendations. They also have food service. But since we already had our lunch at another restaurant we weren't hungry. Our bartender was so good. He had so much patience in explaining all their signature once and also recommending other places to visit in Asheville. Ambiance is good. Old rustic style. I like their music. Music is different in different floors. Parking is available on the street. There's a parking garage in the neighborhood as well. But I am glad we didn't have to drive around looking for parking as we were at a hotel just half a mile from this pub.

This is a great bar if you want a beautiful view! There is a small patio upstairs in the back that has a great view of the mountains. It's small, but when we went around 8pm there weren't too many people there, making it easy to snag a good spot to watch the sunset. The drinks are also really good! I got their house margarita and it was great. The drinks are a little pricey, but for the scenery and being downtown it's not too

Middle bar. Roof top above and basement below.

This is my favorite Asheville brewery. They brew predominately Belgian style beers and some other excellent styles. My favorite's are the Normtrooper imperial stout and the Tricky Monk. Most all of their beers are good and they even have an IPA for the uneducated palate. They have bar food. I got the meat pie with home made crisps. It was good and went well with the Brother Noah, a Belgian stout. This spot was always on our goto list on every pub crawl we went on.

    Belgian beer Heaven is downstairs!

The outdoor seating area is spacious and fun with old cars turned into self imposed selfie stations (guilty as charged) and a haven for sticker placements. Bartenders were great once served. However, on NYE you would think that both bars would be open?!? Having a huge line deterred me from getting another beer.

Burial is so unique in that they brew something special every week. Stop by each Wednesday to find out what's new. What I love here is that for their special brew...they serve and charge per ABV...so if it's higher alcohol...you end up paying more. Other brews are by the pint. It's all good though...everyone gets looked after. On to another matter...the food. The food here is friggin delicious. I recommend the smash burger or the wings. The turkey sandwich is also great. A good lunch will cost $25/pp. Stop by the retail store and pick up a few cans of local recent brew to take home. A 4-Pack will cost no less than $24. Remember...every Wednesday they have something new and unique to sell...and it will sell out within 4 days.
