If you travel to Asheville, you have to stop at this brewery and check-out the amazing art work on all the warehouse walls. The brewery is large and has 2 floors and 2 table tennis tables, cornhole bags and other options in the back game room. We tried a flight of beer and they were all good styles of beer. I really don't think you can go wrong trying any of their flavors. Dog-friendly is a plus!

The bartending staff is off the hook. They provided great service. They know their community. They are friendly and approachable, and incredibly helpful to visitors. They could actually be categorized as brand ambassadors for Asheville. Andrew, our bartender for the night, was amazing. He wasn't only our drink connoisseur, and provider but also our travel guide and friend. I was visiting with my girlfriend from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and can't wait to be back.

Stopped fora quick point toward the end of our day. Iron Rail IPA, Raspberry Sour, and Golem are all good. The GPS directions can get you messed up as there are 2 locations. We finally found the Foundations locations which is much more wide open than the Wedge Studios but sure either is good. They brew at both. Make it a must stop when you come to Asheville.

Great beer and atmosphere! Everyone was very friendly. Great outside seating especially if you have a dog.

Nice selection of beers and lots of outdoor seating. Hit up the farmer's market on Wednesday afternoon at Pleb Urban Winery then walk over for a few brews.

We went to Wedge at Foundation on a recent trip to Asheville and I thought it was a pretty fantastic place. The outdoor area definitely still gives those vibes of an old industrial space, but the outdoor art and graffiti make it a fun space to explore. Along with that there are nice touches like outdoor seating, lighting, and there was even a DJ on the Saturday afternoon we stopped by. We especially liked that, on the day we went, there was a sort of bike festival with lots of booths set up to encourage and inform the public about bike riding. Pretty cool! We choose to hang inside because it was a little loud with the DJ outside and we simply wanted to talk and have a relaxed time. The inside was really cool and the bartenders were pretty nice. We tried a couple different beers, all of which were delicious. The artwork inside is pretty cool and eye catching as well and there's a ton of seating, actually more than you'd expect. There are also games to play like cornhole (I hear this is a midwestern term and the rest of the world calls it bean bag toss?)and there's even an upstairs seating space. It's definitely a cool place to check out and I'm glad I did!

Iron Rail IPA. $16 for roughly 4-1/2 tasty pints.

Probably our favorite brewery in Asheville after living here for 6 years. We ordered a pitcher of iron rail-IPA and then food from the Thai food truck. Plenty of room to enjoy the day from a distance. Mellow Asheville vibe!

Awesome selection, friendly and informative staff, and a every changing selection of beer and ciders. I got 4 drink flight, differing to bartenders discretion. She picked has favorites after asking what I liked and described every drink briefly. I enjoyed every beer and after returning the glasses she asked about my favorites and thanked me. Wonderful experience. I would happily return.

Great brewery right in the railroad tracks! Off the beaten path which is what we like in a brewery

This is definitely one of my regular drinking spots and on my list of top Asheville breweries. Beers: I have never had one there I do not like. My favorite is the Caroliner Weisse, especially with the Cheerwine add-in. Iron Rail IPA is the go-to for most people. Beertenders: The beertenders are always super-friendly, amusing, and willing to offer selection suggestions. Food: A rotating selection of trucks (one truck per day) are there daily. Deliciousness! Building/parking: They have parking, but it can be tight at busy times. The indoor and outdoor spaces both accommodate groups and are aesthetically-pleasing. There is overflow parking in surrounding lots. The bathrooms are plentiful and always clean. The building sits near the train tracks so if you are sitting outside, it is fun to watch the trains going by. They have free WiFi. Events: The Wedge Foundation (note: the location on Foundy St) hosts group events. My work has had our holiday party there in the past and their Cloud Room is gorgeous, has a separate bar, and affordable. Definitely consider hosting your next group event there. Contact info for them is on their website. :) Tip: Great photo opps exist in surrounding buildings which are covered in grafitti-esque art. Take a moment to explore that before/after.

The outdoor seating area is spacious and fun with old cars turned into self imposed selfie stations (guilty as charged) and a haven for sticker placements. Bartenders were great once served. Burial is so unique in that they brew something special every week. Stop by each Wednesday to find out what's new. What I love here is that for their special brew...they serve and charge per ABV...so if it's higher alcohol...you end up paying more. Other brews are by the pint. It's all good though...everyone gets looked after. On to another matter...the food. The food here is friggin delicious. I recommend the smash burger or the wings. The turkey sandwich is also great. A good lunch will cost $25/pp. Stop by the retail store and pick up a few cans of local recent brew to take home. A 4-Pack will cost no less than $24. It's quite possible if I'd have visited during the day that my review would've been 5 stars. However, we came at night (well... winter night it was like 6pm?). It was dark. First, the parking lot. It looked like a scene from a horror movie where everyone gets killed. There was no actual parking lot, just some grass along the road where people were parked. There was a chainlink fence gate that was barely open, with an overgrown sign, and it looked like you were walking into a haunted factory. We walked in the brewery and it was only light by faint lights and candles. We jokingly started calling it the MURDER BREWERY in a spooky voice. I see the beautiful plants in the pictures in reviews here and we saw none of that. I have less-than-stellar night vision and actually held onto my wife's shoulders for her to lead me around. They also have a lot of tables without chairs. Maybe that's trendy, but really I want to sit and chat while I try your beer. I don't want to have to stand around. It cleared out before we left and we got a seat eventually, but the table/chair ratio was way out of whack. All this time and I haven't spoken about the beer yet. It was pretty good. My BIL loved the Mummy Cat. We all had some pretty decent beers. However, we bolted after not too long due to it just not being a great place to hang out in the dark. Our friends enjoyed the photos we took and the catchphrase ANTIQUITY DAWNS AT MODERNITY'S TWILIGHT likely stolen from a 14 year old emo kid's journal that was on their less than useful website. There are no beer lists on it. Literally just that goofy saying and their hours.
