This is the coolest brewery in Asheville. So many of the breweries in Asheville are so masculine. Cold, bad lighting and uncomfortable chairs. Not this place. Wonderful modern decor and plants!! Plants everywhere. The beer was great and it looked like you can bring your own food. I even loved the cool bathroom. The owner was so nice to chat to also.

What a moody, mysterious brewery! When I arrived, there was no sign signaling that I was at the right location. I walked inside the spacious industrial building and it was dark; the only light came from candles and globe lights. The plants here were incredible - lush ferns and plants with GIANT foliage. The bartender was quite generous and let me try several of their brews. They have some unique beers here - an IPA on nitro, smoky beers - but the hazy IPA was my favorite. I enjoyed the live music on a Friday night - very festive! All in all, one of the most unique breweries I've ever visited. The vibe here definitely sets Cursus Keme apart from the many other Asheville breweries.

COOL place! From the outside, you wouldn't know what to expect... until you open the door. Wow! Beautiful plants all over, tables are amazing... and service is quite delightful - thank you, Dylan! We had the Hefeweizen (light and crispy) and the pale ale (west coast, hoppier). Funky music! We'll be back!

What a cool place and awesome staff! The huge plants and decor are so welcoming. The choice of beers was varied and nice. The bathrooms were so interesting with their black tile and iron works. The staff was knowledgeable and happy to share info about the beers and the place. Will definitely come back! Lots of space outside as well.

We were at Cursus Keme this Saturday night June 3 for music, beer and Fun! We loved it! Also loved the food truck! We would like to come again... how can we find out who and when music is playing and what food truck will be there etc! We want to return!

This is a really cool brewery located in an old warehouse but done very tastefully with lots of wood. Plenty of outdoor seating at picnic tables and a lawn where you can bring your own chairs to sit. We listened to a great band while we were there and I had one of the best brews I've had in a long time: a super rich nitrogenated stout. Parking is a bit tricky - it's either on the road or a small dirt lot but it's worth getting there. Good trucks on location. We purchased from a pizza van.

Loved the beers here. You can taste the love and care for each brew. Beautiful brewery and great talk with the owner Jeff. Old garage turned into great space.

Hidden away by a green gate of vines or foliage the brewery makes you work a little to find its charm. The space is absolutely beautiful inside and outside giving a unique style of its own in the weird wonderful town of Asheville. Staff is exceptionally good at describing their beers. If you want to get away from downtown come enjoy the wares here. Also New Origin Brewery is in walking distance. Parking is available but it was quite muddy after all the rain days before. Saw families with children and dogs outside.

This place was absolutely awesome. The beer was awesome. The setting is idyllic. Lots of interesting things.... Can't say enough...

Outstanding beers, good selection in a beautiful reclaimed truck repair shop. At the top of my list for Asheville breweries. Save this brewery for your last stop, otherwise the others will not stand up to this level.

Should I recommend Cursus Keme? It's so nicely private and quiet... a couple good recommendations could change that.

This place is kinda hidden. There are gates that prevent you from driving in. Tons of plants and greenery and super fun vibe.

The outdoor seating area is spacious and fun with old cars turned into self imposed selfie stations (guilty as charged) and a haven for sticker placements. Bartenders were great once served. However, on NYE you would think that both bars would be open?!? Having a huge line deterred me from getting another beer.

Burial is so unique in that they brew something special every week. Stop by each Wednesday to find out what's new. What I love here is that for their special brew...they serve and charge per ABV...so if it's higher alcohol...you end up paying more. Other brews are by the pint. It's all good though...everyone gets looked after. On to another matter...the food. The food here is friggin delicious. I recommend the smash burger or the wings. The turkey sandwich is also great. A good lunch will cost $25/pp. Stop by the retail store and pick up a few cans of local recent brew to take home. A 4-Pack will cost no less than $24. Remember...every Wednesday they have something new and unique to sell...and it will sell out within 4 days.

I saw there was a show that Saturday and was excited to go with my girls. They have a pool table and a good amount of seating. The bathroom decor is iconic. They have gender neutral single stalls. I'm not sure what the space is normally like, but there was a natural dance floor section in the back for the DJ that evening. My friends ordered some drinks they really enjoyed and the bartenders were really sweet. It feels like a great community spot because people on the dance floor were social and friendly. I wish I was in town for their Wednesday dance therapy. I'm excited to return on another visit.

DSSOLVR had their own rice crispy treat pilsner (Krispie Crusher) as well as a peanut butter and jelly beer (PB&J Turbo Fluff) but as a sour instead of a brown ale. Both versions were superior to the Funky Buddha versions, which is all I needed to taste to know that this place makes great beer. Out of all the breweries we visited in Asheville, DSSOLVR is the only one we took beers back home with us on the drive to Atlanta. Definitely make sure DSSOLVR is one of your planned stops if you're doing your own brewery tour of Asheville.
