A less than stellar experience at Thirstea. We ordered online and when our friend showed up not only was the order not ready, they said they never got it. My friend had to put in a new order at the store. We got the three drinks, two slushies (Thai tea, lycee) and one brown sugar milk. One popcorn chicken and one banana Nutella rolled core cream. They gave us milk tea instead of milk and the lychee slush was super sweet and didn't have the tartness that lychee usually has. We expected the mini mochi with the ice cream to be firm because of getting cold, but they were bordering on rock hard. Overall a disappointing experience. read more

It was our first time here and it was not a good experience at all. Let's start with the inside. It's super small and nothing special. Just a couple seats and tables. The service was definitely amazing, she was doing what she could do with what she had. I don't know if they keep the store stocked up but apparently this day, they didn't. They didn't have anything chicken there that day so we had to settle for fries. It was the soggiest not good tasting fries I ever eaten. We ordered the mango slush and the pina colada. Both tasted like freaking water and ice! I really want to give 5 stars for the amazing service cause she did replace my drink after I told her but then I got rose tea and that shit was so strong lol. She saw the shake and didn't see just Chocolate on the menu so we asked if that's possible to be ordered. I wanted to try the Milk Tea without boba and ordered the Okinawa. We were lucky that we got there before 6pm to get the BOGO offer from their Grand Opening. When we got our order, they made a mistake on the shake. On the menu, it says Chocolate Banana but we ordered Chocolate. They were able to correct the shake. Thank you! Overall, great atmosphere, great service and delicious drinks. There was Mexican music playing in the background and she said they allow their employees to make music choices, which I find is a great way to keep moral high. So excited they've expanded their choice options on their menu. They have coffee, ice cream and now tea! This is the first time I am trying their boba. I admire the wide variety of options they have. I saw ice cream, milk tea, green tea, slushee, and (an interesting one you don't see often) is a flavored drink with Red Bull. Shoutout to the server, who was very kind and soft spoken, as he helped me choose a classic to try for first timers: the mango green tea lemonade. It is quite tasty and tastes just as it sounds. I added boba, which was given at a generous ratio. I had boba in every sip up until maybe 30% of the drink left when all the boba was gone. The restaurant itself is small and nice. There are tables for you to wait on and little couches as well. This could be a nice place to study. I am not aware if there's any outlets. I would come back simply because I would want to try the other options and because of the convenience of the location as there are not many boba shops in this area. read more

We were excited to try this place after eating Pizza next door and we walked in at 8:20 pm on a Saturday night. The website said the business was open till 9 pm. The employee working, a young girl was clearly having a bad day or just really doesn't like being in customer service. She was not friendly and made it very clear through her actions and the way she talked to my 4 kids that she was irritated that we were there. The menu is small and a little hard to read for my daughter whose has not great eyesight and she chose a topping that was not available for rolled ice cream. We asked to clarify which toppings she could choose from and she responded in a very condescending tone, like we should already know. She then proceeded to tell us that the store closed in 10 minutes so after we got our ice cream she was going to need us to leave. A few minutes later another customer walked in and she did talk to them a little nicer, but she turned away the next customer after that telling them they were closed and it was only 8:30. Hoping it was just an off night but we were disappointed to feel so unwelcome when trying somewhere new. In addition it would be helpful if the website was updated if they really do close at 8:30 instead of 9. They also were out of Boba, which was kinda disappointing . Alright so I came here the month it opened. Didn't have a good experience, the girl did not know anything about rolled ice cream, she didn't give us our toppings, and it took her forever to make ONE rolled ice cream. Came here three more times, and still all other experienceswere bad, their boba weren't great. Just very mid, and taste basic. Came here again in October, and got their boba, the strawberry green tea. And omg it was gross. It wasn't sweet at all, and it did not taste good, nor did it taste like strawberry. I took a second sip to see if it was okay or if my mind was playing with me but nope! It was legit so gross I couldn't take a third sip. Went in, asked if it was supposed to be sweet and the girl just seemed confused and was quiet. So another person made me a new one then told me "sorry it's cause we don't have much strawberries". The girl could've told me that when I was ordering. I saw them put one scoop of strawberry puree on my first drink and when they remade it, they put three. So I know they were skimping me out the first time. Not only that but when I went in, they had a couple in front of me. Not many in line. They took their order, then ignored me to go make the couple's drink. They didn't say "we'll be right with you" or anything. They ignored me, I stood there for 10 minutes before they came to take my order. Jeez your customer service sucks too. Definitely hate this place. Boba sucks and service isn't great.
