This is my favorite find from the Little Italy Farmers Market. We have two sizes of the growlers and a growing list of our favorite flavors. The lemonade does not taste like traditional lemonade. It still has the refreshing taste and is perfect after a late night out or even a long gym session. The lemonade still has the slight salty tang but not in the same way as biting into a lemon. It stays pretty well in the fridge for awhile. I love introducing new people to this because they're always a little hesitant at first but it's love at first sip. No matter where I live in San Diego, I will continue to always have this stocked in the fridge. read more

Our first time trying Vietnamese Lemonade and they were so kind and accommodating! The woman informed us all about the drinks and the process and let us try each flavor like a little flight, haha. Every drink is delicious and 100% worth the visit. You can tell they care about their craft deeply and the environment/merch/vibe is immaculate. 10/10! read more

First time trying out this place, they have a couple different fermented flavors to choose from and different levels of saltyness. I got the ginger, it was very refreshing. The owner was very nice and let me sample some flavors, the service was fast. Paid about $9 for a large lemonade, a little pricey but worth it. I will definitely be coming back here. read more

Direction sent me to the gas station on the other side , I called the store to enquirer their exact location, no one picked up my call. Finally found the location by driving to the shopping center . The store is located in the same vicinity as the CVS pharmacy some doors down . I took some time to make some corrections on the Yelp page for the Yelp team members to pin the exact location while I parked right in front of the store . As I am writing this review a week later I noticed the Yelp team made the correction. I knew of Best Salty Lemonade from IG and had it bookmark on my yelp account to one day stop in when I'm in the area . Since I was in Escondido to visit one of the temple, Deer Park monastery for Tet ( Lunar New Year) I had to drop in before heading home . Upon entering we were warmly greeted by a friendly smiling woman behind the counter. Denise was friendly she continued to enquirer if I had been here before and if I had heard or had salty lemonade.? I definitely had salty lemonade before when my parents made it at home . So I was excited to try Best Salty Lemonade from here . Denise gave me a few samples to try . She continue to informed me the lemon flavor is their original and is always available . The other fruits flavors are seasonal . The limes were fermented for over one year . Has delicious taste with enzymes, probiotics and electrolytes benefits . It's like a kombucha if I had to explain to those who never had salty lemonade. But Taste so much Better . I bought two cups of lemonade flavor and 2 jugs to take home, one to share with my GF . In honor of lunar new year Denise gifted me a li xi ( red envelope ) inside the envelope contained variety of gifts. I was fortunate to received a jar of Vietnamese kimchi to take home. Yaay! Thank you . Do save the used jugs to recycle for refill and they offer free delivery in the US Free shipping within the USA on orders of $50 or more (not including pre-made salty lemonade drinks. I finally stopped by this business. It was really quiet when I went, but just what I needed on a nice hot day. I tried a few different styles of the lemonade and they were all great. I really like the way the ginger balanced the salt and lemonade. The person working was polite and helpful in selecting my drink. I really enjoyed the lemonade and so did my wife. It's a little expensive, but when she explained the process to make it the lemonade the price makes more sense. High quality product though! read more

This place is a hidden treasure!! It is a shame that more people don't know about this place! The lemonade here is SO REFRESHING. The lemonade is just the perfect amount of sweet and it is fermented so it has a lot of probiotics for your gut! Compared to kombucha, I would much rather drink salty lemonade. They change their flavors semi frequently, and this past time I had their jujube flavor and it was amazing. Initial flavor of lemonade and apple and then nice earthy after notes. The owner mentioned they will have a cranberry flavor in stock soon and I can not wait for it! I am excited to try all the flavors as they come out, this is my new go to place!! Highly recommend trying this place, you won't be disappointed! The owner is also a very sweet lady! She is so knowledgeable about her product and was so generous to make sure I tried all the flavors on tap before making my final decision! read more

We've been coming here for a couple of years now. The owner is so friendly and helpful. We started off sampling different flavors and levels of bubbly from what was on draft (if that's the correct term), but now we really just know what we like and usually stick to alternating between our favorites. My current go-to is getting a large jug refill of the Classic, and a small jug refill of the Ginger salty lemonades. At home, we like filling our glass with 2/3 classic and top it off with the ginger. The drinks are so hydrating. Also, if someone in the house has an upset stomach, this seems to really help! Not sure if that's supposed to be a thing, but it works for us! My whole family highly recommends this place. When a small business has great products, why wouldn't you?! :) read more

Cute little shop off of el norte parkway. At first I was taken aback by "salty lemonade" but like a bottle drink made in San Diego that tasted kind of like salty lemonade so then I was curious. I read the reviews and they were all good. So went to try it. And am so grateful I did. It's super delicious and refreshing! I tasted the lavender but ended up getting the original one. Even the original is still a touch too sweet for me (everything is too sweet for me though because i don't eat sweets) I am getting over the flu so this drink was the perfect thing to get myself. It's definitely underrated. I will for sure be back. Check it out, it's delicious!!! read more

Absolutely delicious and refreshing lemonade. I have been buying this stuff since I ran into the owner at the farmer's market in Hillcrest. My two favorites so far are the lavender and the kumquat.
