Coffee is pretty strong, which I approve of. Greeted when we entered, and drinks were made really quickly (we went around noon). Whole place is clean and tidy, with some claw machines for prizes.
Amazing quality drinks AND chicken! The girl at the counter was so informative about the different drink options, and recommended the edamame rolls which were sooo yummy I wish I asked her name but she was working on 9/5/26 at 5:00 pm she deserves a raise!
We LOVE Teaspoon! We used to have to make a long drive just to find good boba since there weren't any good spots in Escondido but now we know we can count on Teaspoon for delicious drinks! The customer service is the best! And the location is always clean. The parking as others have mentioned is good as well. I usually get the Matcha with bannana foam which is my favorite drink there!
Cute boba tea place with claw machines and game boards! Located in the Escondido Promenade Shopping Center between HuckleBerry's and Subway so there's plenty of parking. I ordered the Black Sugar Assam, Nashville Hot Tater Tots, and Chicken Karaage. My friend ordered the Honey BBQ French Fries. Pro-tip: when ordering on the touch screen kiosk, order the drink first and then add one of the hot food item on as a combo to save $2! The black sugar boba is already included in black sugar assam drink, so no need for extra toppings unless u want more. Service for drinks were quicker then the hot food which took about 15 mins. We dine in so it was a good time to catch up or play games. Great experience overall! The Honey BBQ French Fries are a must-order. The chicken karaage batter was a little heavier than I usually like, but the flavors were still good.
We've been to Teaspoon in Dana Point so I'm glad there's one in Escondido. You can either order from a kiosk or a barista. From the moment you order to receiving your drink, it's pretty quick ~5-10min max. We ordered the guava tea and mango silk, and both were great. I like that they had options for non-caffeinated drinks. Since being pregnant, there's not many options for non-caffeinated drinks at most boba places so this was really nice especially when you're trying to lower your caffeine intake. The store is actually pretty big with a decent amount of indoor seating. It's also very clean and decor is simple. Would definitely come back again when we're back in the area.

If you download the app, you get $3 off your first order, pretty amazing! We got greeted and asked if we were ready to order once we stepped in. My boyfriend and I got the Thai Tea and their House Milk Tea, both with Boba! The drinks were pretty decent, and it wasn't overly sweet. I really enjoyed it. My drink at first tasted a bit watered down, but the worker there was very kind to add some more syrup in my drink and remade it! The place itself was great, lots of chatter and a whole section of card games! My boyfriend and I were there for atleast an hour just laughing, and playing cards! I really enjoyed my experience here, and will definitely be coming back!
I didn't have much time for lunch today so I decided to place an order through their app for pick up. They have the perfect snack combo for $10. You can upgrade to the chicken Karaage for additional $5. 1st time trying Lychee on Lychee. It's a tasty black tea. Good size pieces of chicken Karaage. Came out crispy and the meat was still juicy. Located in a pretty busy shopping plaza. They provide game boards if you want to stick around and have a little fun while sipping on your teas.

It's a spacious location with desserts, snacks, games to play. I got the "hot" strawberry serenade with pudding topping. It was lukewarm, but still pretty tasty to me. The strawberry taste with matcha was scrumptious. My friend didn't really like it. He got a classic Thai tea. Which was pretty good. I am definitely coming back again!
I am so happy there is a good boba place in Escondido! The aesthetic and atmosphere is super clean and hip. The service was very friendly. Stopped by yesterday late afternoon and it was empty. Oh my gosh!! I'm so stoked that this place finally opened closer to where I live. The first time I tried this, it was in La Costa closer to Carlsbad which was always my go-to place whenever I would go to the 24-Hour Fitness there. This location seems a little bigger than the original location. Very clean and spacious with modern interior touches. There's a huge TV that shows their menu and an iPad where you can do a self-kiosk order. They always have extremely nice workers at any of their locations. Super accommodating, friendly and they always offer samples! Me and my husband got to try 2 of their fruity teas and they offer salted chips. My go-to here is alwaaays the Dirty Ube coffee with boba or the Matcha Royale w/ strawberries & boba. My husband likes the Taro Lover or Silky Mango with mango jelly or strawberry jelly. I love this boba place!! Especially their cute glass bottles, which I bought the first time I went here.
Very happy to have another boba spot in Escondido- love the presentation, the flavor options, and of course, an alternative milk option. Royal matcha with strawberry was delish, sweet with real strawberry pieces. Lots of other good options to try next time we come in. The location is clean, well-lit, plenty of parking and the staff was so kind and informative.

Stopped by this place on our way home. Cute inside with games you can play and toy vending machines. They also have a POS where you can order yourself. I got the matcha with oat milk and crème brûlée cold foam. It was really good but I paid extra for the foam and felt like I hardly got any. That matcha itself was great but I didn't get any crème brûlée flavor so I feel like it was a waste. My boyfriend got the coconut coffee half sweet. I am a sweet coffee drinker, but I tried it and liked it a lot. I feel like the drinks were a good size for the price. read more

My favorite is Taro Lover (Taro milk w/ slow cooked taro chunks). - Ordering is easy with so many curated drinks to choose from. - Not all drinks can be made with less sugar. read more

Always quality when I go to a teaspoon! Came during soft opening and glad they had everything available on the menu! It is quite spacious inside with plenty of seating. The biggest teaspoon I've been to so far. Love the floral murals painted on the wall. It is a great spot for a boba date or if you want to just chill with friends as they have a selection of board games to play. Owners were very friendly as well as the staff and though it was a busy opening, they had a smile on their faces and worked hard to pump all the drinks out! Black sugar assam -honey boba was perfectly chewy -it wasn't as sweet as I would have expected and it had a good balance of tea and milk Silky strawberry -one of my favorite non tea drinks! Stopped by after seeing this shop on my way home one day and had to stop by to give it a try since this is so close to my home! I'm so glad I did, my usual boba shop may have competition because Teaspoon was so good! The aesthetics of the shop was so cute, and the lady who was behind the counter was absolutely the sweetest person ever! She was very knowledgeable of all their drinks and offerings, and answered all of my questions! There were some drink and pastry samples when I stopped in and the guava sunset was available to try. Oh my gosh it was so good and ended up ordering it for myself. The price to size of the drink is reasonable. The flavors are all well balanced. There drink options also have a lot of different varieties you don't see at other shops, but also still carry a lot of boba shop staples. I can't wait to come back and try more flavors off their menu! read more
We ordered the Double Matcha with whole milk and 50% sweetness. The consistency was smooth and slightly thick. It was still too sweet at 50% and if we were to come back, we would get it at 25%. We also had the opportunity to sample the Grasshopper. It was very refreshing but heavier on the cucumber flavor as opposed to the lychee green tea flavor. Overall, the drinks were good, but nothing too crazy. I can only see myself coming back if it's convenient. read more

Dropped by this Teaspoon in Escondido after a trip to the Safari Park. Both drinks I got were a hit - 5/5! 'Mango Sticky Rice Matcha' aka Silky Mango with Coconut Milk and Matcha Foam. This is a drink unique to this Teaspoon location. A neat take on mango sticky rice flavor profile that works well with the matcha! 'Lychee Breeze' is a seasonal Jasmine tea with watermelon and real lychee bits. It's a bright refreshing flavor was perfect after a hot day at the park! The store itself is clean, well-kept, and inviting. I love the restroom sink - excellent faucet head length and water flow (forgot to take a picture ). The staff are friendly and work well together. They were banging out drinks fast and the other customers appeared satisfied with their orders. Gold star for Natalie who took our orders. She was very kind and happily answered any questions. She willingly made an adjustment to my drink: I asked for less boba to be scooped out as she was making my drink, and also asked for a tad bit more mango syrup. I bought a Golden Brew coffee and it was delicious! I got it with the normal sweeten amount and it wasnt too sweet! It has a chocolate taste to it which was great. The only change I made to it was sub Oat milk. Perfect! My wife ordered a Guava Sunset with less sweetener, and she loved it, but said it was still a little too sweet. We definitely recommend less sweetener on the Guava Sunset. The music playing inside is very chill and not loud, which is a HUGE plus! The employees were also so kind! We will be back. :) read more

The place was cute and super clean with an inviting atmosphere. The employees were super friendly and welcoming, making sure every customer had a great experience. Even though it was their soft opening, the service was smooth, and the drinks were delicious--perfectly crafted with great flavors and the right level of sweetness. I'm so glad this boba shop is close to home! It's great to have a go-to spot nearby with excellent drinks, a clean environment, and such kind staff. Wonderfully pleasant staff! Warm greeting upon entering and exiting. The selection is consistently produced similar to all other locations. Nicely played out interior. Seating area is inviting and encouraging one to sit down and enjoy for a bit. Music is nice and contemporary (not too soft and not too loud). Got taro lover which had good flavor and actual taro in it yum. Ube viet coffee was very strong. The ube flavor could be more prominent. Silky strawberry was very good. Favorite of the 3. I will be back to try more drinks. 4.4/5 for drinks overall. 1/5 for the marshmallow bar because they claim it's Housemade when it's a bar that is sold at other places and is definitely not homemade. It is good though. Clean new spot where we were greeted coming in, offered samples, and greeted as we left. Love that! read more

Stopped by Teaspoon in Escondido to cool off and try a couple drinks--and overall, it was a solid experience! Drinks: 7/10 -I tried the Double Matcha and honestly, it could've been better. Definitely not that rich, deep ceremonial matcha flavor I was hoping for. I asked for 50% sweetness and it was still a little too sweet for my taste, so I'd recommend going even lower if you're sensitive to that. On the other hand, the Guava Juice was delicious--super refreshing and light, perfect for a hot day. I'd come back just for that. Shop Vibes: 10/10 -The vibe inside is what you'd expect from a good boba spot: clean, bright, with a cozy, chill atmosphere. Great for hanging out or grabbing a drink on the go. Service: 10/10 -Bonus points to the staff--they were super friendly and even offered me free samples of other drinks and some of their treats. Cute boba shop tucked away in the busy auto parkway shopping plaza! Located near Dave's hot chicken and subway with many parking spots surrounding the store. Friendly and quick service, we were greeted upon entering and offered samples of a couple of their drinks and dessert options. The store itself is spacious and clean with plenty of seating and outlets. Their honey boba was freshly made with a nice soft bouncy texture. I love this place, been here several times, never fails to satisfy my cravings, whether I want to go on a caffeine binge or get a refreshing drink especially on a hot day. Not only are the drinks so good and customizable in most cases but also the vibe and environment is perfect. They also provide outlets if you want to get some work done while enjoying a few drinks. Overall not only do the baristas greet you when you come in but they're super helpful in answering any questions you have about the drinks and provide friendly great service. I highly recommend. Some of my favorites for refreshers: Guava Sunset Grasshopper Creamy Jasmine Mango Funtime Oh and their Matcha Royale is so smooth, some of the best Matcha my friend and I have ever had in San Diego. And then for caffeinated drinks, my favorites with an adjustment on less sweetness: Vietnamese Coffee Vietnamese Frappe Creamy Jasmine Matcha Royale 5/5, check it out if you haven't already! read more

Stopped by during their grand opening and they were having BOGO drink. This is my first time trying Teaspoon and I was impressed! I got the Silky Strawberry and Taro Lover, both were super tasty and not too sweet which I really like in my drinks. Service was fast despite how busy it was when I came in and the workers were super nice. The place itself also had lots of seating for casual hangouts or if you wanted to study. They also had board games by the entrance to borrow if you wanted to hang a little longer. read more
