The cashier asked us to use the kiosk to order (no one else was there). They charge for every little customization, including asking for "no ice" will cost you. We ordered 2 drinks, one of which was a Peach milk tea with brown sugar boba. We tasted zero peach and only brown sugar. It was really sweet. My 25% sweet lychee black tea with boba was way too sweet as well. The boba pearls themselves were soft and tasted warm/fresh, however, there was way too much of the brown sugar syrup they were sitting in at the bottom of our cups. We both only got through half the drink. The store was clean, and they had a few cute claw machine games and even a free neighborhood Pokémon card exchange box. read more

My family and I were craving some boba tea and found this spot with five stars, so I figured we had to check it out. We came on a Friday night (Sept 5th) around 8pm and even asked if they were closing since Google said so, but the staff told us they don't shut down right away if customers are still around. Super nice! We went all in and ordered a bunch--Hokkaido oolong, avocado slush, Oreo slush, crème brûlée, and mango slush. Every single drink was delicious, and now I see why this place has 5 stars. I ordered the Thai Tea and asked for 50% sugar and less ice but unfortunately the cashier misheard me and gave me 75% ice. After trying the drink, I wish I had gone with 75% sugar and no ice. I'm very happy that there's (FINALLY) a good bona-fide Boba shop in Escondido with more options than Thai tea or very-artificially-sweetened fruity options. My go-to is normally the longan ginger for cold days, or the aloe passionfruit for hot days. The service is normally incredibly fast, with an average order done within five minutes. It's a quaint little shop next to a delicious Mexican bakery (yes you should try it), which isn't normally busy so there's always a place to sit. I also highly recommend trying the ice cream macarons, the green tea flavor is really good. I'm definitely a fan of being able to adjust the sweetness of a drink as well, as I'm not a huge fan of overly-sweet drinks. That being said, I wish there were more herby options. This place also offers a kiosk to order drinks if you prefer self serve service. The times I have gone were majorly off peak hours so I am able to place my order right at the counter. I used to love coming here and when I'm at my Carlsbad house, I've been to the one in San Marcos, where they offer hot boba tea, so I figured I can order hot wintermelon boba tea. They told me they don't offer it, so I asked why not? Then they told me that it has to be a large and it's extra, so I said ok. Then I overheard the girl making my tea talking and she said "when I made hot tea for a customer awhile back, she complained it's too sweet and didn't like it, so whatever". I didn't think it was necessary to complain about a customer wanting something, when the other locations offer hot tea. Aren't teas started off as hot teas anyway? It is well lit inside the building at night but the parking lot is dark. There are wheelchair accessible tables inside with moveable chairs, no tables outside. I like that it's never as busy as the other locations throughout North County. Best Taiwanese bubble tea in Escondido. It's non-prime location makes for short lines and fast drink service. Like most tea bars there are various exotic fruit tea options that you can choose from. Ding also has some interesting coffee drinks "lattes" and I chose the "not on the menu" Monster Latte with brown sugar boba. Surprisingly I loved the brown sugar boba. It's totally a decadent dessert drink but well worth the splurge. Slush drinks are on par with other places but what was disappointing was the lack of a cookies and cream flavor option. Both kung fu and sharetea have that. Their signature Komquat Lemon Iced Tea - Everyone seems to love this drink so I had to try it for msystelf. Umm, it was quite bitter. I was in the area looking for proper Thai tea. I stopped at 2 different places. They both failed. I was able to find this Ding tea. A small detour from my trucking route, but worth it. Ding tea never fails. The only reason I don't go to some is because of prices differences and policies. Service here was great. Young lady was very happy and helpful. Fast too. The place is clean. Finally, a real boba place in the neighborhood! We've been waiting patiently for this location to open and was glad to see that their soft opening was this weekend with a BOGO 1/2 off promotion. Found parking easily, waited in line (6 ft behind someone) and had just enough time to decide what to get off the menu. Staff was friendly and helpful and drinks were made in less than 5 minutes. We tried their Monster Bobo Latte and wintermelon milk tea with golden boba and both were delicious, although next time we will order the wintermelon milk tea a little less sweeter. I was bummed when they said they weren't going to have spicy popcorn chicken on the menu even later on but they do have some good looking coconut waffles. It's so nice to finally have a Boba place here in Escondido! I've seen and heard of this place in San Marcos so I'm glad to see the same company. Before the shelters in place happened, this was one of the local businesses that I was hoping to open. Then yesterday (5/14) while my hubby and I were doing errands, I saw the red banner stating, "Soft Opening". So on the way home, I asked my hubby to swing by. When I got there before 4:00 pm, there was no line. I looked at the menu and figured I should order the usual thing I order in other Boba places. So I ordered a Small Signature Milk Tea w/ Boba. I asked the young lady when they opened but with our masks & a little loud music, we had difficulty understanding each other. So apparently they just opened around Mother's Day weekend. While she was making my drink, I was looking around taking pics and noticed they have a case of the ice cream macarons and other products. So the next time I come, I'll try the tiny Asian flavored ice creams. Went home & drank what I ordered. The boba was very soft & cooked properly. The milk tea was delicious. The employee told me that it should be out shortly, but then all the employees working there went to the back room and talked to each other for 10 minutes without making my drink. I sat there with nobody else in the store waiting for somebody to make my drink. I saw the start of my drink being made, but no one ever finished making it. It wasn't until more guests started walking in 15 minutes later and they realized nobody made my drink. The employee did upgrade my drink for free as an apology but it didn't make for the 15 minutes sitting there with nobody in the store and the employees not caring about making my drink before deciding to go to the back and converse with each other.
