My mom has been raving about this place so we decided to give it a try and order takeout. No one answered the phone so we decided we'd go to the store nearby for drinks and stop in after to see if we could order in person. The restaurant looked spacious and clean. The staff promptly greeted us and handed us menus to order from with no emotional expression. No smile nor smidgen of warmth which made my boyfriend and I feel unwelcome. My takeaway is: if they don't answer the phone - they're busy and don't want you to stop in. 15 minutes later our food was ready and we were out of their hair. Despite the awkwardness ordering, the food was amazing. Everything we got was delicious, there is nothing to critique. Everything was well prepared, fresh, and hit the spot on a cold night. Next time I order from here I'll try to come during the day instead of evening and see if the vibe changes.

I had a great time. Parking was easy and getting a table for 4 was easy as well. Food was delicious. I recommend the salt n pepper wings as a appetizer. I would actually order a party tray of wings because it was so good! Overall id come back again and try the boba!

These are the best dumplings north of Convoy Street! The three of us came here last evening and were blown away by.... Well... Everything. Here's and example. We ordered our appetizers, see photo and then... even though we ordered our entrées, we ordered more appetizers. LOL Our server was sweet and friendly. She offered us some vegetarian egg rolls gratis to start. While, her manager came cover several times to check on us. Five stars and we'll be back.

The food here was really good and at a decent price. The slashed cucumbers were very flavorful and had a great taste to them. The pork and scallion dumplings were also really good. We also got the 3 meat noodles, which also was good. The portions were very nice and left us both full with leftovers. The staff were very nice and came to help often. The place is nice with some table and chairs and booths. The booth seats weren't that comfortable due to the bumps on the backseat tho.

Came very hungry with my daughter for lunch. We were able to sit down quickly as the restaurant wasn't too busy. Despite there being a QR code on the table someone was able to take our orders. We selected chicken fried rice, xiao long bao, beef and broccoli for dine in and got s&p wings and pork/scallion dumplings to go. Fried rice came out first and tasted great, seasoned perfectly so we were excited for our other entrees to arrive. My daughter ate up and enjoyed her dumplings. I thought the beef & broccoli was just okay but found myself digging for the broccoli since they were perfectly cooked. Arriving home husband and I enjoyed the s&p wings and found the pork/scallions to be on the saltier side for my liking. Overall a nice experience. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Ample parking in lot.

I was excited when I saw a dumpling place opening in Escondido, even though it was clear on the other side of town, meaning a 20-minute ride from our house, which is difficult to do in Escondido. I can be in RB faster than that. When we arrived at the Dumpling House, they were cleaning the windows with a ladder blocking the front door. It took several minutes before we could enter. Once inside we were seated immediately and they brought us menus, which are quite extensive. We ordered two dishes, Steamed Pork Dumplings with scallions and Stir-fried noodles with Shrimp. What followed is one of my pet peeves: When we order with two or more people, the food should arrive at the same time, not minutes apart, just like when you order soup or appetizers, they should arrive in order. Dumpling House, just like many newer outfits, simply does not get that concept. We go to share a meal, have a conversation, not just consume food and turn their table for them. Next, the very long noodles arrived with a standard fork. No serving utensils, like fork and spoon or tongues. When I asked for a spoon, the server looked at me somewhat perplexed and told me they don't have spoons - he brought out another fork. Now, this maybe cultural, but I doubt that, I have been to plenty of Asian restaurants of various backgrounds, Chinese, Thai, Fusion, and had serving utensils. If someone from Dumpling House actually reads this - "go buy some serving utensils" and teach your servers to bring out the food properly. Let's be clear: The dumplings were great; we were actually able to see someone shaping the dumpling dough, although we also saw them taking the dough out of a can, which looked like what you buy in a supermarket, so the dough is clearly not made from scratch. The noodles were also very good, but of a quality that can be had in any reasonably good sit-down Chinese restaurant. So, here's my bottom line: I you go specifically for dumplings, this is a good place to get them, but for a rounded Chinese experience, there are better places in Escondido, especially given the price point.

Absolutely delicious! Service was amazing. You order on your phone as well as pay but if I needed extra sauce or napkins the waitress was very quick with it. The place was busy, and I wasn't surprised on why after I tried the food. I got salt and pepper chicken wings, juicy, seasoned, and a little tiny bite to them, crispy perfection. Rangoons with scallions, good price, crunchy, flavorful, the noodles with beef delicious, not overcooked at all and seasoned really well, the dumplings were delicious, not skimpy on the filling at all and they held together really well. I ordered two tao bubble lychee jelly teas as well. With all of this food it came out to $65!!! Which is really good for the value of the ingredients, taste, and portion I will 100% be coming back to try their other dishes because everything looked really good on the menu, and the stuff I saw other costumers get was fresh. Bathrooms were clean, and I liked the ambiance of the inside, my only complaint is they have their orders, including online orders hooked up to an ipad or something that dings constantly while you're eating. I'm happy they're doing so well but I'd prefer not to hear this

This place was really good! I usually have a hard time finding a dumpling place because a lot of places only really serve pork dumplings but this place has so much to offer! Food was delicious and came out super fast, it was a nice and cozy spot to have some yummy dumplings, I like how they have the rainbow dumplings because it is a nice sampler of the different flavors they have like lamb, beef, veggies, egg, and more! Definitely worth a try:)

My husband and I are so happy we stumbled across Dumplings N More here in Escondido! We walked in and were greeted and immediately seated. Our server Jack was very friendly and helpful as this was our first time visiting. We ordered lots of food. Too much for two people, but that's exactly how we like to do it and have lots of delicious leftovers. Every item we ordered came out hot, fresh, and delicious! We will definitely be back. Highly recommended this family run special gem!

Located in the Albertson's shopping center. I was happy to hear that a dumpling spot opened up nearby, & not just any dumpling spot, but Dumplings N More! Who has another successful location in Hillcrest. Super friendly service but a bit inattentive. Delicious, authentic Chinese cuisine. They serve a variety of chicken, pork, lamb, fish, beef, shrimp, vegetable noodles, fried rice, soup dishes, dumplings of course and more. They also serve a variety of desserts & teas. My go to place is Din Tai Fung & this restaurant is definitely on par with them in regards to taste & quality.

This place was recommended to me by my friend who is a chef and WOW!!! It was soooo good. We ended up ordering more dumplings because everything was delicious. We got the rainbow dumplings and the bao dumplings and the sweet and sour shrimp. Amazing!

There were many dining options on site, and ultimately we decided on One More Bite after seeing a cook making dumplings behind a glass wall, assuring us they were authentic and the dumplings were not from stores. The restaurant, with its modern Asian décor, was clean and quite spacious, with seating for 70+ guests. The friendly staff guided us to our table and brough water and menu right away. After browsing its extensive menu, we ordered the following dishes: Popcorn Fried Chicken: The chicken pieces were lightly battered, tasty, crispy, and mildly spicy. Pork Xiao Long Bao: This is the quintessential dish of any dumpling house and theirs was spot on. The delicate outer wrap was flawlessly steamed without any tearing, perfectly trapping the juicy broth inside. The filling was well seasoned and with very nice texture. Boiled Shrimp and Pork Dumplings: The outer layers were not soggy or overly boiled, retaining its firm but delicate texture. The filling was savory and a tad sweet. Shrimp and Pork Wonton Soup with Udon: The broth was light but flavorful, with a hint of pleasant white pepper aroma. The thick udon noodles were nicely al dente. The wontons, with savory filling, had slightly thick wraps. Rainbow Vegetable Pan Fried Dumplings: The colorful wraps really accentuated these dumplings. The outer layer had a nice firmness on top and a beautifully crispy bottom. The well minced filling was lightly seasoned and soft. Brown Sugar Rice Cakes: The rice cakes were quickly fried, creating a golden outer layer and pleasantly chewy inside. The drizzled brown sugar provided the sweet kick. Coconut Cream Balls: The fried outer layer was crunchy, and the runny coconut cream inside was not overly sweet. Overall, it was a very enjoyable lunch experience.

The rolls were also really well made, preserving the textures of each ingredient (meaning it was all fresh). Now for my fav... this tonkatsu.
