We tried to play 2 player games but every time one of the games wasn't working so we had to do it separately which isn't as fun. Plus all the games are insanely expensive like $3-7 for maybe a 1-3 min game. We reloaded our wrist bands and it seemed all the games make it so you have to keep putting money on your wristband and can't quite play any game without doing that OR you just leave without using the full amount that you paid because there aren't any games that cost less than what's left on your wristband. This is a fun place to visit and experience the animals up close and personal. We spent time in each area learning about the animals and watching them react (or not) to all the visitors. The reptile area was a smaller room with most all of the reptiles inside cages or behind glass where you were not able to touch them. The fenced area that you can walk inside had llamas, goats, birds, etc. that you can pet or sit with them, feed with furnished acceptable foods, and watch them move around. It is not a huge place, but they use the space well to treat the animals with respect while allowing visitors to get close. The rules are easy to follow and most everyone respected the animals.

Everyone we interacted with was helpful and nice. They take a lot of pride and care, you could tell. We got there for a 1pm reservation and got there about 15 minutes early so we could get everyone shoes figured out and food ordered. Rosa's Pizza is inside the alley. We got 2 large pizzas and everyone must've been big fans because there was not even as much as a leftover piece of pepperoni. It was hot and delicious! The bowling screens were new with easy, user friendly prompts and there were several types of games you can choose from. It wasn't a hassle to change the bumpers on and off either. You also get to choose a theme for your bid display bowling screen. We picked disco and ocean, the kids thought that was pretty cool. We used a ramp since we had a kiddo under 5 with us. It's also appreciated that they had 6 pound balls; sometimes we've been to "family friendly" places and they don't have the lighter weight balls because they jam up the pin gatherer or the gutters. Even with varying weights of balls being used on our lane for different ages, we didn't have any issues with the balls getting stuck, or didn't have to call at all for assistance resetting pins. The big display has a countdown on it for the amount of time you paid for and automatically shuts off the lane when you're done. We got done just a big birthday party was coming in and the staff turned all the lanes over very quickly. Will definitely be back again for more fun in the future. Side note: I forgot we had visited Cheney Lanes before in 2020 but it had all been updated and refreshed I didn't recognize it. They did a really good job in there.
