The female owner is cuckoo! We had a horrible experience. We showed up for our agreed upon time and she refused to let us in. She hung up on us twice then called the police. When they showed up, she hung up on the police too! She proceeded to say we were trespassing and harassing her which is an absolute lie. We were VERY kind and never rude. We just wanted to play the game after driving 2 cars 45 minutes to get there and being told we needed to come back later. The police dismissed the whole thing and agreed we didn't do anything wrong. Don't support them...she is crazy!

I love that if you are sweeping through the puzzles staff has a way to introduce extra puzzles (which is what happened in our case!). A lot of their puzzles were multi-step and intricate. You can tell who ever made the puzzle was really putting some thought into its creation. Each part of the escape room really played off of your senses whether it was smell, touch, temperature, etc. This room was 75 mins long and it felt like it went by so fast because we were having so much fun. I hope they get a bigger facility just so they can do more rooms but even so they really utilized all of the space, everything was working and felt high quality. Honestly blown out of the water with the experience. They had lockable storage available for purses and phones that are FREE. Bathroom was nice and clean as was the rest of the building. Customer Service The owners are absolute joys to get to know. They truly want to know about your experience in Escape Rooms. I moved away for college and they kept in contact. They also sometimes include certain team names in future rooms. They are highly relational, highly intentional, and are always willing to receive constructive criticism to make their location better. Immersion The scariness of their rooms are fantastic. In the rooms I have done I would give it a PG-13 level scary. There are great jump scares, and your heart is racing the entire time. The scene is set the second you enter a room because you get lead in with bags over your head. Makeup and Costuming is incredible and this business should pride themselves in the quality of actors. Rooms The rooms have gone from good to great. In the beginning 2015, the rooms were a little lackluster, but the last room I did was incredible, immersive and visually pleasing. Every 2 to 3 months they are creating a new room which is something not a lot escape rooms do. New Puzzles, new environments, and new creations constantly are bringing people through the doors. As an avid Escape room participant, Unit 55 is a spectacular and must see while in Spokane WA.

They recently moved to a new location so space is even bigger! The owners are super nice and come up with amazing ideas for each event. They are scary and challenging but thats part of the fun!
