Yes, I am a fan and it is my perfect location when last minute gifts are needed. However; a sign was on the self that read everything in the store 50% off. Majority of my items the cashier rung up 50% as what the shelf advertised but when she got to the last item I asked her and the "discount on that item"? No answer on that that item. She asked me at first twice was my items going to be paid by cash or by debit or credit card? First time I ever heard a cashier be so concern was my items being paid by cash. That was strange to me. I said credit card. So when I arrive home I look at my receipt of payment and I look on the bottom on the item and on the receipt it was no where's indicating like the other items it was sold to me for 50% off. I kept calling the phone number that is on the receipt on the top and its quite obvious they took the telephone off the hook. The cay after it just keeps ringing. No answer. read more

This place sucks ass. Granted this is a review back from Christmastime, I had to let people know to beware of this place when it's a busy time of year (such as Christmastime, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter, etc.) Place is a complete disaster. Here's what happened, I went there three days before Christmas. Yes I know I'm an asshole but the ONLY REASON I REMOTELY AGREED TO BUY SOMETHING AND HAVE IT ENGRAVED FROM THIS STORE IS BECAUSE THE GUY WHO WORKED THERE AND TOOK MY ORDER PROMISED ME ABOUT TEN TIMES THAT MY ORDER WOULD BE ENGRAVED AND READY FOR ME TO PICK UP IN ONE HOUR. I got there before 10 AM and the store already looked busy but I said okay and I bought a frame there for $30. I just wanted it to say on the frame "we love you mom!" That's it. Four fucking words and an exclamation point. They charged me $14 for the engraving okay whatever I'm not a Scrooge. So I came back at 11:15 to see if it was ready. Store was a complete clusterfuck with a line out the door of people who ordered before me whose orders weren't ready. GRRRREAT. So I finally get to the front and the lady tells me it's not ready but it will be ready definitely in a half hour. I wasn't gonna bitch because it's Christmastime and I can see they're busy. Okay so I came back at 12, 45 mins later just in case they were running behind (HA HA.) The line is even longer now and people in front of me are pissed as hell. The cashiers looked terrified and I know it's not really their fault but their answers to customers' questions were completely stupid "I'm not sure what happened to your order." "I don't know what to tell you sir." REALLY?! So I get to the front and told them I've been waiting almost two hours and the guy said "okay can u come back at 1?" So I was like "seriously I have to wait anther hour ? How can u even guarantee it will be ready by then?" And some lady who worked there comes over to the guy and tells him IN FRONT OF ME WITHOUT LOOKING AT ME, " UR supposed to be telling these people that their order will not be ready today. We might be able to get it to them by tomorrow!" WHAT THE FUCK. So I was floored by this. How can u keep giving people the run around when u knew that these orders were not getting done today?! And u MIGHT? be able to get the order ready tomorrow? That's Christmas Eve.. I told the lady that basically there is no communication between the employees and they are not being honest with their customers. If they were honest from the get-go I wouldn't have minded but I had other shit to do then wait around for my order that they weren't even starting to engrave today! This fucking infuriated me. I would never ever ever ever order something from here again and I suggest you don't either bc this place royally blows. At least they gave me my money back for the engraving... I have never had such a difficult experience ordering a gift. We ordered the certificate holder at the store at willowbrook in Wayne and were promised a next day pick up. That night, sometime after 10, we received a call from the store saying that they were out of stock and we'd have to go to another store. We looked online. The closest store with the certificate holder was at least 45 minutes away in the Newport mall We put the order through online, and again were supposed to pick up next day. The next day we received a call saying that the clerk was not certified to do the engraving, we would have to wait another day. At this point we had to reschedule our plans with the intended recipient. So we went to pick up our item and found that there was a pretty large and noticeable scratch next to the engraving where it appeared the item had moved during the engraving process. It is impossible that the engraver was unaware of this but it was presented to us as though it was not an issue. naturally, we asked to be given an undamaged replacement. when we arrived to pick it up, three days later, the clerk said: It wasn't there it had been picked up it wasn't ordered no one told her and a couple other excuses. She blamed another employee, but said she would do it for us right then. Then she told us that there were no more in stock we agreed to buy the sample, which had a couple nicks She offered no discount We walked around the mall a bit and came back to pick up the certificate holder It again, had a large scratch next to the names that looked like it had shifted during the engraving the clerk told us it was fine, and that the people getting the gift would probably not even notice it. She took the price of the engraving off, which doesn't really make anyone feel better about buying a damaged sample. In short, not only will we NEVER go to another things remembered, we will caution our family and friends against wasting their time and money, as well as flood social media with rants and pictures dedicated to this ridiculous experience. We know we won't take a huge chunk out of your revenue, or close your doors. ...but we will do our best to prevent a couple hundred people from becoming new customers. read more

Things remembeted is a great place to get a last minute gift. I shopped at the willowbrook location. I was not sure what I was looking for the sales person was very helpful and helped me select the perfect gift for my mother's second wedding. I purchased a pair of flutes and had them engraved. I was short on time and she assured me that I could come back in a hour. I arrived back within the hour and they were cometed. I left very satisfied read more

Horrible. Not only are the workers unhelpful, but they lied about having available items that they didn't have. I was told told by an associate that he would call me back after their busy wave died down, which I completely understood. Not only did he never call but when I did again, they told me they were all sold out of the item I needed when the original associate told me he had TWENTY EIGHT left at their location. I had ended up explaining my dilemma to a manager, which included previously placing the same order over a month ago twice and never receiving it. She didn't seem to care and would not help me over the phone. I called the Garden State Plaza location and their awesome manager Rebecca was able to help me right away. read more

If it was possible to give this business zero stars I would. I am not the type of person to write reviews, specially negative ones, but this place sucks big time and I feel the need to share. I walked in this store today because I was looking to buy a friend a present for her newborn baby boy. The lady behind the counter was busy doing something and barely acknowledged a client walked into her store. I found something that caught my eyes and I wanted to ask her how much it was. When I turned around she was gone from the desk. I said "excuse me" hoping she would walk out and help me. From the back room she shouted "I'll be right with you". I thought "ok...she must be busy doing something important". I waited a couple of minutes. When she finally came out from the back room I thought she would be able to finally answer my question. Instead, she started fixing a piece of equipment behind her desk! I just looked at her...she never even turned. Finally, fuming, I started walking toward the exit and said "bye!" She said...unreal..."have a good day", to which I replied "nice business!"...she said something but I was already outside the store and I was pretty aggravated. I personally do not understand how these people are still in business...if this is the way they operate. read more
