My son received Speech and OT here from age 2 to 4. He really excelled and I have been happy with his progress. After going through a few different Speech Therapists at the beginning, we finally found one we loved and she felt like family to us. We also met and worked with multiple wonderful Occupational Therapists during that time and their OT director is extremely knowledgable. While I did notice in those 2 years that there is high turnover, it IS possible to find good and steady therapists. And sure, we experienced a few hiccups here and there in that time, overall we were treated really well here. The only reason why we left was because our insurance changed and it was no longer accepted by Therapy Tree, otherwise we would still be there :D read more

I've been taking my four-year-old daughter to Therapy Tree for speech therapy for a little over a year. There are some truly excellent therapists there. The problem is, they don't stay long. The organization and corporate structure are poorly run, and it shows. In my experience, the focus is not on helping the child as much as it is on maximizing revenue. When the good therapists realize this, they tend to leave. As a result, there is a constant turnover. At first, I thought the place was great. But over time, it became clear that consistency is not a priority. You don't get to work with the same therapist regularly. Scheduling is based on filling time slots, not what's best for your child. If you try to request consistency, it's met with resistance. The environment is one large open room with multiple therapists working at different stations. That setup, combined with the high turnover, makes it difficult for a child to build comfort and trust. Several therapists have come and gone within just a few months. The same goes for front desk staff. I've seen around 20 different receptionists at this single location in the past year. Sessions are supposed to be 30 minutes, but in reality they run closer to 20 minutes due to buffer time between appointments. Scheduling has been one of the biggest frustrations. Calling the office usually leads to voicemail, so most scheduling has to be done in person. They attempted online scheduling, but it often required waiting days for a callback. Even when you do have an appointment, corporate may call the day before and cancel it, asking you to reschedule. There's little regard for your time or your child's routine. To make matters worse, their cancellation policy is extremely one-sided. They can cancel on short notice, but you're held to strict rules if you need to do the same. Again, there are some great therapists at Therapy Tree. Unfortunately, they don't tend to stay once they see how the organization operates. read more

Literally the worst ran organization of this sort that I've ever encountered. Back and forth for a week just to see if they can accept my insurance - says that there's open appointments next week. Call me to let me know a week before my appointment that there's actually a waiting list. On the waiting list for 3 months. Call me the day before my appointment to let me know the location isn't accepting new clients anymore and is closing. What a joke. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE. You can NEVER get anyone to answer the phone - it only goes to voice mail. But if you leave message after message, it doesn't matter - you can NEVER get anyone to respond to a voice mail. And if you email them over and over again, it also doesn't matter, they will NEVER respond. Our child has been a patient here for a few months and our billing is a disaster, we cannot get them to bill us properly, and we cannot get the receipts we require for HSA reimbursement, so we cannot get reimbursed. And try as hard as we can, we can NEVER get anyone to provide us with ANY basic billing service of ANY KIND. We are looking for a new provider because Therapy Tree REFUSES to provide ANY support at all. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

I'm super frustrated. As an office manager of a therapy office myself, the way this clinic is ran is a joke. The therapist my son sees on Thursday "Mr. Colton" is constantly calling out of work or going on PTO. I understand using your PTO but telling your patients the day of their appointments that he's not there is very unprofessional. This is the 4th week my son has missed his 2nd session of the week due to him being absent. The front desk staff should be calling patients well before their appointment to let them know the provider isn't there. Calling me at 2:30PM the day of his appointment asking me to be there at 3Pm because the provider isn't there doesn't make sense, call in the morning with that. If you know your provider is on PTO call prior to that. My son is currently on a waiting list to go back to Banner Therapy and I will be glad when I don't have to deal with this OR the 15 minutes sessions they offer. I wouldn't recommend this clinic to anyone and can't wait to go back to where we came from!!! read more

So incredibly upset. I have been waiting to get my son in for months. I made his appointment in January and it was finally TODAY. They called me ONE HOUR before his appointment to let me know that his appointment was canceled because they just noticed my son is bilingual which no one asked me when the appointment was made. Whoever scheduled me "forgot" to ask and they noticed on the new patient forms that he is bilingual an hour before, and canceled us just like that. Let us know their next opening wasn't until OCTOBER. I have been waiting since my son was 15 months old and he will be two soon. No one apologized or tried to help me schedule something sooner since this was their mistake not ours. I have to wait 7 months for a 30min evaluation, when I had waited almost 3 months just to be canceled an hour before. So ridiculous. read more

I have been to 3 different therapy companies in the past 2 years and Therapy tree is 100 X better than anything that I have experienced with the other 2. The Therapist not only got my son to feel extremely calm they also gave my Husband and I a very detailed list of how to handle things at home. The results have been amazing read more

The employees answering their phones are so rude. I was referred here a couple months ago from my pediatricians office. I didn't end up following through with the referral since I was receiving services through AZEIP. Since I was not getting the results I wanted from the services at AZEIP I decided to reach out to therapy tree to ask them the process of getting seen there. She told me I would need a new referral since it's been a long length of time, which is understandable. She also told me with my insurance plan I would need a hearing test for my son. She did not ask for any information from me and had a very rude tone. I reached out to my pediatrician to have them resend the referral and reached out to my insurance company to get confirmation on the hearing test. It turns out there is no hearing test required through my insurance in order to receive the services we needed. I called the number on the Apple Maps for therapy tree and no one answered the two times I called. I decided to create a chat online to make an appointment in their website. Julie, was very respective and responsive there. They gave me a call within minutes of communication with them online, but I did not answer. They left a voicemail with a number to call back at, which I called. The woman that answered, Leslie, had a rude tone with me. She said they needed two business days to process their referrals, again they didn't ask for any information from me like date of birth, name or anything Again, everything they have said to me is extremely understandable, but it's the tone of voice they use with their future patients that does not sit right with me. The parents/guardians are probably already going through enough having their kid go through any type of therapy. The least they can do is be nicer to to them. read more

My daughter had an evaluation for an IEE. We never got the report. I had to request it and they did send it to me. They did not include the recommendations we discussed at the evaluation, and later when I asked for them to be included they refused. They said they aren't allowed to provide recommendations to the school when that is rediculous. The whole purpose of the eval was to provide recommendations to the school. She had other IEE evaluations done by other providers and they had no problem providing recommendations that were appropriate, and also clarifying on some I had questions about. They also sent home some questions for my daughter to complete and send back. I let them know at the eval we just had a death in the family, and we would not be sending it back right away. They closed the report and did not include the questions without even reaching out to say they needed it by a certain time or they would have to close the report without adding it. I would definately not recommend them. read more

Stay away from this place! I always paid at the time of service and received various bills over the course of a year. The most recent one in the amount of $335! I called and left messages for months with no response. Finally I spoke with Beta today who informed me that the office "misquoted" the amount due even when I specifically asked if I would receive a bill at the time of service. She's sending my account to collections because I refuse to pay. I would have never had my son re-evaluated had I known they would charge that much! read more

They have been great with my soon for physical therapy. My son has been going here (first Glendale location) since 3 weeks old. They are gentle with him and I have noticed a difference with the stretches and exercises that they provide. read more
