Normally, I'm a little wary of food truck pricing to food value/quantity. Theo's Kitchen to Go initially seems like they have food truck pricing, but they give you a LOT of food. Probably the most food I've ever gotten from a food truck per each order. Definitely worth it if you are hungry or want lots of leftovers. Out of all the items my partner and I tried, I would highly recommend their Cactus Crunch. It's definitely its own thing compared to a Taco Bell Crunchwrap, but so much better value with how much you're given. It is very stuffed. If you're sensitive to spicy, their jalepeno ranch does have a tiny bit of a kick to it that slowly builds up. Their quesadilla is also MASSIVE. Unfortunately, our order came with a lot of gristle with the steak pieces. The chipotle mayo has a mild-medium kick to it, but it's pretty manageable. I personally wouldn't order this again, but I respect how big of a quesadilla you're given. Their churro is just as advertised and a foot long. It is heavily covered with cinnamon sugar with lots of strong cinnamon flavor especially. The chocolate sauce is really good. I also wouldn't order this again, but mostly due to personal preference (I don't like it when my churros are way too covered in sugar!) They're a little hard to find. They're behind a shopfront next to the dumpster with not too much parking. Although they do offer shaded outdoor seating, it's only two tables. The smell from the dumpster doesn't help either. It's definitely a pick up and go kind of place. You can order in person or make an account with a food ordering app (DoorDash, Grubhub, Ubereats) to order online. Theos Kitchen to Go definitely does its concept well if you're looking for a LOT of heavy food to hit the spot. read more

Theo's Kitchen is truly a hidden gem in Tempe! I've been here a few times and every time I go this place hits! They have some of the best chicken wings I've ever had in Arizona. Their BBQ sauce is unique but so flavorful and delicious. Also get the fried cookies! They are so good, expecially with the chocolate sauce. They also have such good fries with house made thousand island style sauce and grilled onions. Service is friendly and they are pretty quick at making food after you order. They also do tons of take out if you order ahead or through apps. They also have a few tables with umbrellas which is a nice touch if you want to eat there. Everything here packs such great flavor! If you're looking for a spot with generous portions and bold flavors, this is it. The wings and chicken sandwich have the perfect seasoning--lots of taste without the heavy heat. The star of the show for us was the steak crunch wrap; the meat was seasoned perfectly. Fast service and a very kind staff made the meal even better. We'll be repeat customers for sure. There are about three tables in front of the food truck but I would say this is more of a takeout spot. read more

Do yourself a favor and come to this place. This food truck is absolutely on point with the food. The burger was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The fries were crunchy and seasoned. Price was pretty good for the amount of food. It is very filling: they have other items too. Parking can be limited since it is next to a connivence store. The staff were friendly. Still a 5 star dinner in my book. My girlfriend and I decided to visit this place in person after having tried a different time, only for it to have been closed down that night due to a technical malfunction. This time we were just looking for somewhere that was of good quality and that wouldn't be too pricy, and Theo's was ultimately the place we chose. The seating area was nice but minimal, it was us and 3 other guys taking up the only seating room available. We arrived before the other guys did and before us 2 other guys had placed a takeout order. Within a few minutes of placing our order, our food was brought out to us and looked just as delicious in presentation as it tasted! I ordered the Theo's (patty) melt and my girlfriend got her usual, Garlic Parmesan wings. Theo's melt is a very solid budget option for an amazing meal in Tempe. It tasted delicious, and I soaked every bite with their signature Theo's sauce or their jalapeño ranch sauce. Both tasted amazing with the sandwich. My girlfriend's wings also tasted very yummy, and though she didn't finish them, we ordered their Fried Oreo dessert as well and took the rest home. We devoured those Fried Oreos later on that night and left ultimately loving this place even more. It really is worth all the hype, and our love for it deepens with each visit/purchase. I ordered through DoorDash and saw that my food had been tampered with (the driver obvi) so I filed a complaint and just reordered my food thinking nothing of it. But this restaurant staff noticed my repeat order and went out of their way to call me and figure out what happened. I explained it was nothing on their end-- but I have to say that them going the extra mile to call and make sure my experience with them was good speaks volumes. They clearly have good people working there who care about the customers. I'll be stopping by next time! read more

We are visiting from Michigan and we saw this place get reviewed on TikTok. It's right next to a smoke shop but don't let that fool you. The food was amazing!! My husband and I tried this place one night because we were looking for a smash burger. Theo's has the best smash burger! The burgers were seasoned well, moist, and had a very yummy cheese on them! We got fries on the side which were great as well! They have a bunch of sauce options as well! We had the jalapeño ranch, regular ranch, and their special sauce and they were all really tasty and went well with the burger and fries! Would recommend and eat at again! read more

OMG! This place is amazing! Drove from mesa and it was definitely worth it! We got the Americana Burger, norcal carne Asada fries and a norcal burrito. Cant beat the prices for the taste! Hello folks! I should have been left a review but here we are now. I found this place couple months ago via door dash, I was looking threw door dash deals and stumbled across Theo's and my life changed every since. I feel like they are family yet I've never met them, we have our unique way of communicating and it works for us I could go on and on speaking so highly of these beautiful people but let me get to the review. The Burger patties have flavor, I like how they smash the patty but not to much,and cooks the meat to crusted edges which provides more flavor. The cheese melts well between the meat and condiments giving it a fair distribution of flavor and taste.. weather it be the jalapeño or the American double cheese burger, you cant go wrong, plus it comes with fries. And a drink..you can tell the food I fresh every time.. those two burgers get 4.8 out of 5 stars on my scale! The fries have a decent crunch and you can taste it's cooked in fresh oil. Im a fan of the the three burgers I have tried which are the American double, the jalapeño cheese and the Theos melt.. all get 4 out of 5 stars Now the deserts, I love the fried cookies, they are rich and very heavy in calories but they taste soooo good and they are addicting ..today I was blessed to try their fried Cheese cake and all I can say is OMG!! This slice of cheesecake is dipped in what seem to be a pancake like batter, its a rather large slice of cheesecake, its best you dont use utensils for the best experience, just pick that joker up ,take a bite as is first, to get your pallets warmed up, then take the slice, dip it in the chocolate sauce, it is a treat!!! This is also a heavy and rich but , want to get another bite type of dessert. In conclusion, 4.7 out of 5 rating to me, and thats only because I have yet to try the rest of the items they have, I love this place... if any of you read this , go to THEOS and tell them John T, there #1 customer from Tempe sent ya.. they will hook you up for sure!.. oh..real quick, not sure if Theos do this or if its a door dash thing but, every 100$ spent you get 10$ bucks off a meal, thats basically a free meal every 10 -11 meals bought... thats a good way to give back to us the customer how do i know? The food here is INSANE. I tried it for the first time last night with my boyfriend and we got the spicy chicken sandwich combo, a flamin' cactus crunch with steak, and the fried oreos. the sandwich was a little sweet with the bun and slaw, crunchy with the coleslaw and chicken, and hella saucy lmao. the pickles were a great touch too, all in all it was 10/10 for me and the fries were great too; just a little bit on the saltier side but i still enjoyed them. The flamin' crunch tho was something else. it was beautiful, and perfect lol. tasted absolutely astonishing and honestly worth the 20 bucks (the steak and the cheetos add more of a cost to the meal). it's hugeeeee and also had hot cheetos but there's an option that doesn't come with cheetos! The fried oreos were really great as well, tasted perfect and came with 4 of them plus chocolate sauce.
