Two cool and funny guys showed up just before time window was up (I told them to take their time, and I am on far side of town so probably the last one on their list of deliveries) which was perfectly fine. They were smiling, quick and never had a frown, or a whine, nor mentioned the extreme heat they were working in. They acted as if they were doing this all for fun and not for work! They really quickly and gently put my stuff all on the counter & were done before I could even think. Every thing on my online order list was delivered! (except for the big bag of oranges, they're often sold out at the store, NO biggie) The produce & fruits were perfect- clean, fresh, exactly right ripeness. The deli meat was cleanly packaged, very fresh- everything was beautiful! Safeway, are you hearing this? These guys have to do a lot of work to fill just one order, which consists of picking out each item on your list- and they did it with care. I know they did because the proof was in my order. On top of all this, they adamantly, genuinely refused a tip. I tried tricking them into thinking a bill fell out of one of their pockets, they laughed heartily at my feeble attempt at trying to get them to accept it (those who know me personally - would find my trying to give someone money hard to believe ;) these guys, they acted as if they did this job for fun, as a hobby. That's the feeling I got out of it. Such a good experience. Safeway, keep it up and you will WIN the grocery delivery business. I get nothing from safeway from this review, I'm a real customer & hold no shares or interest in them whatsoever. If you sign up for their emails, you get coupons for free deliveries, or money off your entire bill, or both. Way worth it. I don't think I will ever use the "other" delivery thing again, at least Safeway delivery works FOR safeway and not themselves or some weekend gig.

Unfortunately, our order came with a lot of gristle with the steak pieces. The chipotle mayo has a mild-medium kick to it, but it's pretty manageable. I also wouldn't order this again, but mostly due to personal preference (I don't like it when my churros are way too covered in sugar!) They're a little hard to find. They're behind a shopfront next to the dumpster with not too much parking. Although they do offer shaded outdoor seating, it's only two tables. The smell from the dumpster doesn't help either. It's definitely a pick up and go kind of place. You can order in person or make an account with a food ordering app (DoorDash, Grubhub, Ubereats) to order online. My partner and I have been using Nature's purpose for 7 months and I'll tell you why I love it. Natures purpose has been the first service that I have had absolutely no issues with. First, they don't require a subscription, I simply order the meals I want each week and that's what I get. Such a simple concept, yet hardly anyone does it. Second, since they're local the food is always a fresh and has good quality ingredients. Third, the website actually gives you all the nutrition information you need. I tried so many places that would leave that out and only give you calories. Being able to see how much protein is in a dish is so important to me. Also, they have different sizes and tell the nutrition of each size. Fourth, the variety of food is great, I never get bored of the meals because there are so many to choose from and they add new ones all the time. Fifth, is the support. Delivery is always on time, and I've had a broken container every once in a while, and I've gotten refunds each time as well as an offer for a replacement. 6th and final, it's tasty and affordable. The prices are what made me check them out in the first place, but the flavor is what made me stay. All of these things rolled up helped me lose 45 pounds in the last 7 months. I started at medium sizes and worked my way down to small sizes while focusing on high protein meals.
