While Jasmine is very good at the waxing, she is INCREDIBLE at sugaring. I swear it barely hurt, the result was perfect, and I had basically no irritation or ingrowns after. In addition, Jasmine is super friendly and great at giving you warnings to breathe on the more sensitive areas. I am giving 4 stars because Jasmine set the bar very high and I feel like other waxers I have seen at the North Charleston location haven't quite lived up to her standard. They are going through some management and company changes right now, so scheduling can be a bit wonky (I got three separate calls to confirm my most recent appointment, in addition to a text, but when I arrived I was placed with a different specialist than I had booked with), but everyone there is very friendly and apparently they are going to be offering more med spa services at this location very soon. All in, I just purchased a Pink Pass (10 Brazillian Sugaring at $54/ea), so I will be going back to see Jasmine for a while!

The waiting areas are spacious with relaxing music, essential oils, magazines, water, and snacks to accommodate whatever vibe you are looking for. They also offer heated neck wraps, which is a personal fave. I always opt for the muscle meltdown, which is their deep tissue massage. I've had Liz several times and am always impressed. Either way, I'd give SoCa another shot, but will make sure I note to not have that therapist again.

I found them through a Google and Yelp search with glowing reviews and competitive prices while searching for self-care places on my wedding preparation journey. Scheduling an appointment online through their website is easy and they have two locations for your convenience. When I walked in, the front staff greeted and checked me in promptly, the front area is inviting, space is clean and tastefully decorated. I came in feeling so nervous, almost on the verge of tears from how anxious I was due to how sensitive my skin is. Grace melted those worries away as I built trust from her expertise and care. Grace is professional, polite, and personable. Her gentle technique and mindfulness for sensitivity made the wax bearable. I appreciated her conversation topics and bubbly persona, it made me feel at ease. Her aftercare suggestions and knowledge make me confident in knowing I found an esthetician and salon that will strive to have the best experience for all clients in a judgement-free space. Aside - I also liked the sturdy waxing table they had..some places it's like a wobbly surfboard chair setup but theirs has a secure footing and thick padding. I liked that they played music. Wax is perfect temperature. Completely satisfied with my experience at Waxed Salon and will return. Highly recommend for those that feel nervous about waxing..Grace will make it less intimidating!

I have been a client of this studio since 2011, and have received most of my sugaring and…read moreesthetician services directly from Christina. I have primarily used sugaring for my hair removal services because I have found it more comfortable to go through when compared to the use of hot wax. I have stayed with Christina for so many years because she is so attentive during the sessions, as well as very thorough. I have seen her grow her studio from a tiny space with few retail offerings to a larger spa-like atmosphere offering a variety of services in addition to just sugaring. The studio is exceptionally clean, and Christina has always been very conscious of this aspect, particularly around the pandemic restrictions we all operated under for several years. Christina and her staff are very present to clients and strive to offer extras - flavored waters, hot teas, cups of snacks, soft lighting and music - that make each visit seem like a small spa escape. They make sure clients are aware of recommendations for post-sugaring care and offer products from their own stock for purchase. All the products carried at the studio are high quality, all natural products that Christina and her staff have used and can confidently recommend. All of these things are "value adds" to the overall experience.
