a box of chocolate covered strawberries - A white box containing six strawberries dipped in dark chocolate with drizzled white chocolate is placed on a speckled granite surface. Each strawberry has green leaves attached. Behind the box, there are two shopping bags, one with a floral watercolor design and the other in solid red, on a dark background.

I've been here a few times now- mostly to get chocolate covered strawberries and sometimes as gifts. They are a small shop, but have plenty to choose from. The strawberries were tasty and fresh. At $19 for half a dozen strawberries, it can get a little pricey. We got the dark chocolate and they even gift wrapped the box for us for Valentine's Day. Parking is easy and they do call ahead orders. 2023 #3

a box of chocolates - A rectangular box holds 15 chocolates arranged in a 3x5 grid, each with distinct, colorful decorative patterns on top. The chocolates are in individual compartments, and the designs include geometric shapes, lines, and abstract motifs in various colors such as blue, pink, yellow, orange, and purple. The box appears to be a gift or specialty assortment from a chocolatier.

Got these bonbons as a gift! They're a milk chocolate and dark chocolate variety, but with the fillings are random. Wish they had a description of the flavors somewhere. Some are fruity and others caramel. They're very pretty to look at too!

Chocolate of the Gods. Beautiful and delicious!

Life is like a box of chocolates, but at Theobrama you know what you're gonna get--excellence. This Chocolatier provides the best chocolate I've ever indulged in. This is saying a lot because I love chocolate as much as a fat kid loves cake (maybe more). I consider myself a specialist in regards to knowing the difference between a Russel Stover and a See's chocolate. Every V-day I ask for nothing but a box of chocolates from here and this year my wish finally came true. I savored each piece and I have to say enjoyed each bite more than I probably should have. Not only were they good but every piece was so artful. (see photo) It's a very small place but what they do, they do exceptionally well. If you're a chocolate snob like me you need to come here and bask in the glory of chocolate genius. It's pricey but in my opinion, it's worth it's weight in gold.

One of their beautiful milk chocolate marshmallows - A marshmallow coated in milk chocolate with a drizzle of darker chocolate on top, mounted on a stick. It is wrapped in clear plastic and secured with a red ribbon. The treat is placed on a plain, light-colored surface, likely for display or packaging.

The chocolate in this tiny little artisanal shop is melt-in-your-mouth outstanding - really high quality and delicious. If you're a chocoholic or chocolate connisseur, you will appreciate what they have to offer. It's pricey but worth it. Makes a much-appreciated gift, too, especially the beautiful little truffles which they offer in more than a dozen different flavors. They also make absolutely perfect chocolate strawberries. They have shelves covering every wall with nearly every size and shape of chocolate, it kind of makes it hard to pick! The first time I went in, I got just one little bar and a single truffle. They were both so fantastic that it's now my go-to place for the best chocolate when I need to satisfy my chocolate craving.

Beautiful truffles of a wide variety, and the chocolate is well made, not overly sweet and nicely textured. The flavours of truffles aren't too strong, tasting more like chocolate than the desired flavor. Samples are offered as soon as you walk in and prices are very reasonable. You can tell it's a family owned business with small production but good care. Definitely a great place to find quick chocolate gifts.

Truffles and soft center chocolates: champagne, Irish cream, strawberry cheesecake, and creme brûlée.

The iconic store, which boasts the tagline "New Mexico's Sweetest Tradition Since 1956," is predominantly red and white both inside and outside. So, this was one of my first pit stops on November 26, 2025. I grabbed butterfly and bear-shaped chocolates ($1.95 each) for all the youngsters in my family plus a box of the pecañero ($16.50 per 8 ounces). The candied pecans are absolutely delicious. There is spice, but not too much for me. My 12-year-old, on other hand, couldn't handle it. Lol. There was a variety of other candies. The nice male employee at the register worked diligently and in a friendly manner. Free ample parking was available. For more info, visit www.buffettscandies.com

This is a very relaxed store, with windows into each kitchen so you can see the employees creating chocolate delicacies. As we were looking at the eggs and bunnies, we saw the praying hands & Last Supper. The white chocolate Last Supper was more impressive than the milk chocolate one as you can see all the details in the white. Al, one of the employees, told us that the Last Supper is one of the more difficult to create. It does come out of a mold, but needs expert hands to cut away the extra chocolate that clings to the small details. Our niece bought the last one! Al also showed us the framed newspaper clippings about the store and its founders. He pointed out how the third generation is now running the store, and that some of their customers are also third generation. We bought some of the eggs, caramels, and white & milk chocolate butterflies. We are bringing them home and enjoying each and every one. We will be back!!
