Some of the best food I have eaten, soul or otherwise! I don't eat pork because of the taste but one look at those ribs and I had to have them. They were wonderful! Fried chicken and mashed potatoes were great too! And the Tiger Woods/Arnold Palmer was what it was billed as - the best I've ever had! So, I do not think that I can write enough good things about this place, but here it goes! First, Miss Krystale greeted me and my son right at the beginning of the line. She went through how the serviced worked and how we could split up the meats into two different types. I had the famous ribs and the fried catfish and my son had the catfish and fried pork-chop. I'm so happy that she told us so that we could try several things! They had a plethora of sides, everything from macaroni n' cheese, squash, black eyed peas (you have to put their Trappy's pepper sauce on them!) and drum roll...... cornbread dressing (light and fluffy) and sweet potato casserole with old school, baked marshmallows on top! BEST I've ever had and I was born and raised in the South! You get a roll or cornbread muffin and you can choose your dessert, my son got the yummy red velvet cake and I just swam in the sweet potato casserole! We left Dothan, strolled around the Dothan Botanical Gardens and then ate at one of the best soul food places on tbe planet! We thought from the pictures on Yelp that it was a buffet, but in fact it is cafeteria style. We walked in and looked for a sign telling us to be seated or to wait, when we were greeted by Crystal or server. She talked us through the cafeteria, how to order and asked us what she could get us to drink. I chose the home made lemonade because how could I not!? Fried catfish, fried chicken, Lima beans and cabbage were my choices and they were all amazing!
