Such a cute sandwich shop in Eufala! They have a diverse menu of both cold and hot sandwiches as well as several large salads. Everyone is very friendly and service is prompt and efficient. I had the vegetarian sandwich with crisp red peppers, cucumbers, romaine, provolone, and cream cheese on sourdough. All the vegetables were fresh and crunchy . . . Delicious and refreshing on a hot summer day. My husband loved his club sandwich as well. The dining room is clean and comfortable, overlooking the cute downtown street. This place is amazing!!! We stopped by on our way down from Atlanta to Panama City beach. First, the town is super cute which is why we stopped there in the first place. We parked and looked for a place to grab lunch. We saw a couple leaving the sandwich place and started talking with them. People in Eufaula are super friendly!! They recommended that place and so glad we ran into them. I had the best grilled cheese in my life!!! It was a pimento cheese with green fried tomatoes inside: mind blowing!!! I kept telling my friend: this is the bomb!!! She tired it and loved it too. I'm still thinking about it. Sadly I live in Austin TX so I can't go there once in a while but seriously, so worth the drive: I would drive 3 hours just for that sandwich. We were so sad that they were closed on our way back on Monday. I've only had fried green tomatoes once before that: nothing compared to these ones. I so want to go back I almost forgot: the workers there are so nice. I think in general people in Alabama are the sweetest. read more

Passing through Eufaula on the way back from FL, I remembered a sandwich shop we used to patronize there 10 years ago and took a chance. This was not the same shop, but it was an excellent choice. I had a chicken salad sandwich on sourdough which was absolutely delicious. The sandwich was huge and so, so tasty. The chicken salad was creamy but firm-best consistency. It was close to closing time but the proprietors were so friendly and kind. We ate there and then were on our way. Even the restroom was inviting and clean. My wife and I were traveling thru going to the beach and have always made plans to stop at the rest area outside of Eufaula and make sandwiches and eat, relax for a few minutes. This time I yelped sandwich shops and saw this local sub shop in Downtown Eufaula so we did something different this time and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Angry Italian sandwich which is the same as the Italian sandwich except $1 dollar higher in price but just warmed a little. Not worth the dollar.LOL! I have to say that we are pleased with our decision on doing lunch a little different. The food, service, atmosphere were great. Plus we got to walk downtown afterwards to visit the locals. Decided to give this place a try...and glad I did! My classic club was stacked so high it was difficult to take a bite. My wife's pimento cheese sandwich was full as well. I bet we could make another normal sandwich out of what she squeezed out. We both could only finish half of our sandwiches. The service was quick and friendly. Don noticed we forgot to get napkins and brought some to the table. He checked on us again and brought us a to-go box. Nice sandwich shop with TVs and appropriate decor. Give this place a try. We stopped in Eufaula for lunch and were looking for a good sandwich spot. Found this place which I heard is fairly new. It was exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. My wife had a pimento grilled cheese with bacon on sourdough. I had the T-bird, a warm turkey sandwich with bacon, lettuce and ranch dressing in a hoagie. The sandwiches came out quickly and they were both delicious. Great lunch spot!
