My husband ordered a combo of grilled grouper and fried shrimp. He had the same issue with his shrimp being hard/& overcooked. His grilled grouper was underdone. Our cousin's food was the same way. Underdone fish and overcooked shrimp. On a positive note the onion rings were great. The little salad bar was clean and tasty according to the two who got a salad. The part of the restaurant we sat in was well cooled and had nice decor. It looked like a newer refurbished area. The area by the entrance was HOT and there was seating there as well but I couldn't have sat there and dined bc it was too warm. The salad bar is also in that area. The service was great. They were busy! I wanted to say something about our food not being good but was discouraged by my companions, I wasn't going to be mean but just to let them know they need a new cook! This is a small restaurant in a tiny lake town. It's locals and people (like myself) who have a second home here. I appreciated the cleanliness & good service. The food needs improvement though; especially whomever is frying the shrimp & grilling the fish. The salad bar needs to be away from the front door as well. :(
