I visited on a bright, sunny Thursday afternoon, so the vibes were already good and it got even…read morebetter after my first sip of the Spanish latte. I was debating between that and the Mexican sidecar but the barista kindly informed me that the latter was on the sweeter side, so she preferred the Spanish since it was less sweet. I opted for that drink for the same reason and she was right. I also tried the Biscoff latte and I don't know if the syrup is house-made, but it was also good with the right amount of sweetness. It's very cool that they roast their beans in-house, and although I'm no coffee connoisseur, I thought the quality of the espresso was great. The only thing is that all the syrup sat at the bottom, so be sure to mix it in well. There's no indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating on the turf to sit and relax.

It's been a while since I last stopped in, and everything was just as I remembered, tiny, minimal,…read moreand cozy. Their hojicha is made fresh and so yummy. It's not overly sweet, so you can actually taste the flavor, which I love. The matcha is also really good. I actually prefer it over their neighbor who "specializes" in it. Service was friendly, though I did notice it seemed like a new crew. The manager used to always be there, and the previous staff was a bit more chatty, which made the wait feel quicker. This time the energy was a little more low key, but still perfectly fine service overall.

Best cafe ever! The…read moreemployees were very welcoming, gracious, and kind. I ordered a brown sugar cookie (I think) latte and it was amazing. I weirdly also had gyozas and they melted away in my mouth. The cafe itself had good parking in the back and lots of seating. There's a spot to casually chill out and places to work. There seems to be a Pokémon theme which was really fun- just adds so much color. Lots of the matcha drinks were anime named and very fun.

I stopped in quickly to try one of their matchas--they look so fun and different online. Walking…read moreinto the store, I was instantly impressed with the attention to detail, the décor, the organization, and the overall appearance. Someone has spent a lot of time creating such a detailed space. I'm not into anime, Pokémon, or fighting card games, but I still enjoyed seeing everything. I ordered the blueberry matcha. As the worker was making it, I noticed they used a matcha whisk. It was fresh, not from a squeeze bottle or premade, which made me happy. I feel that when matcha is made fresh it tastes better and more care goes into the drink and the craft. I will say the cold foams were in a squeeze bottle and premade. The worker said they're made fresh daily, which does add some comfort, but I still prefer them made to order. Anyway, I received my drink and gave it a taste. The matcha itself was very good--nicely blended and refreshing. I could taste the blueberry nicely. I believe the oat milk enhances the flavor and gives it more depth. Next time I'll try some of their food. This review is solely for the blueberry matcha.

Wow how exciting to see 7 Leaves expand outside of OC. Congrats to the business for another…read moresuccessful expansion. This location in Covina has plenty of their own private parking and a drive thru. When we entered, I was mind blown about the large interior. The space was set up with plenty of outlets along the walls for those who come to study and work. I appreciate the 7 Leaves chain for having a simple menu but executing it well consistently with quality ingredients. On this visit I had the Iced Mung Bean Milk Tea because it was later in the afternoon and I didn't want to ruin my sleep with caffeine. My all time favorite drink here is their Iced House Coffee, with 3 shots of espresso. When I want something refreshing I get their Iced Sea Cream Jasmine Tea. And my family's favorite is their Iced Taro Milk Tea. Love their product. Love that this location has a drive thru. Love the study-work ambiance they set up their seating area to be. I was already telling my boyfriend how I want to take my niece back here the next time we have a café session.

I'm really surprised this place doesn't have a better rating. The cafe is a really nice study spot,…read moreone of the few available in this area (as far as I'm aware). It's spacious with lots of seating and free WiFi, and almost all of the tables have access to outlets. Every time I've come here, I've had no trouble finding seats. They also have their own parking lot, so parking has never been an issue for me. I think their drinks are solid. They may not be as amazing as some other places (like Da Vien) but they're still good and more affordable. My family loves the mung bean drink here. Today I ordered the jasmine sea salt cream--solid drink. If they had one of the special lids that allow you to taste the cream while sipping the tea, it would probably be a lot better but oh well. Instead they have the typical boba film covers.
