Love this place... it's so damm good!! Not sugary at all... I promise... The service is great.. Elisa is so friendly and the rest of the staff as well... Boom spot is so clean and warm welcome. Somewhere you can come and get a drink or some waffles and just chat it up with your friends. Elisa always welcomes everyone with such a smile. She's someone I can open up and talk to her about life when it's not busy. Thank you for having a spot open like this especially for people starting and continuing their fitness journey.

Salted Caramel something. I can't remember the name haha

Finally came to see what all the hype was. My trainer at the gym kept posting about this place and their high protein drinks. I was greeted by the employees. Elisa was very personable. Told me what ingredients were in the shake I ordered. I was concerned because of how sweet everything looked. Turns out they use sugar free ingredients. The portion was too big for me because of a surgery I had, and I'm not supposed to drink out of a straw. But, man. I really enjoyed what I was able to fit haha Next time I'll try actual food items. After I ordered, I saw Herbalife products behind the counter. Some people shy away from it because they've heard you gain weight after or they experienced the weight gain themselves. Um, losing weight and staying fit requires a lifestyle change...for life. It's not "yay, I lost 15 lbs so I'm going to King Taco to eat a burrito and a sope, and pick off my husband's asada nachos" lol I say that though because that was me! To summarize, a good first time experience with customer service, good shake, will return for more and try their protein waffles.

I got here at 7:20am and the place was closed. I seriously rushed and went out of my way before work. They need to update there hours to reflect actual hours

I went on a Saturday morning and was attended very quickly ,drinks and food were out fast! Fruity pebbles smoothie was bomb and the protein waffles so good I also got the horchata fat burner but didn't get a photo it . I liked it ! They use herbalife products and the girl who helped us out was quick to answer any questions I had about their supplements I will definitely come back!

If you want yummy shakes but half the calories, you need to check this place out. I ordered the a banana cheesecake shake and it was perfect to my liking. It wasn't too sweet and yet it didn't have that protein after taste. Definitely recommend if you're looking for healthier alternative.

It's simple but full of character, featuring cholo-style artwork inspired by Blood In, Blood Out, along with actor signatures that give the place a cool, authentic vibe. I ordered the chorizo omelette, and it did not disappoint -- generous chunks of perfectly cooked chorizo throughout. You can truly taste that everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients. The country fried steak is incredible as well -- definitely worth trying. There's plenty of parking, including street parking since the restaurant sits on a corner. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and immediately sets the tone. The food was excellent. I had the pancake combo and my son ordered the cheeseburger--both were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Even the ranch was standout. George then offered samples, which honestly sealed the deal. I don't like seafood at all, but the clam chowder was unbelievably good. And the biscuits and gravy? No exaggeration--the best gravy in the area. Nothing else comes close. The décor is another highlight. The Blood In Blood Out theme throughout the café is very cool, especially seeing the murals on the walls signed by actual cast members who have visited. It gives the place a unique character and makes it feel like more than just a café--it's an experience. Amazing food, amazing service, and a welcoming atmosphere. This is officially my new go-to spot for breakfast and lunch. Next visit, I'm trying the country fried steak and the chicken fettuccini. Highly recommend.

I took my mom here for a Mother's Day brunch and my birthday celebration because it falls around…read morethe same time every year. I am so glad we chose Hide Out Cafe in Rowland Heights to have our celebration. The food is delicious, the staff is so friendly, and the cafe is so cozy and welcoming. My brother was sponsoring our meal since he couldn't make it, so of course we had to go all out and order two drinks and two main dishes. (Thank you, big brother)! I got the Boba Bear Set $8.50, which comes with a drink and two house-made cookies, and my mom got their Tiramisu Latte $7.00, which is heavy on the coffee liquor, to be honest, but we had fun with it. The drinks are crafted beautifully, and with the open cafe concept, you can see they pay attention to the small details of their crafted drink menu. The house-made cookies that were a part of my Boba Bear Set are not to be forgotten. The cookies are buttery, decadent, and delicious; they are the perfect tea cookies to pair with! I can't wait to go back and try more of their fun drinks and maybe bring a study book the next time. For our main dishes, we shared the Chimi Wagyu & Frites $35.00, and the Fresh Avocado Toast $19.00. We both love eggs so of course we had to get something with eggs in our dish. My mom loved her avocado toast, and they were very generous with the avocado as well on there. The salad is a definite hit with us and included a great dressing on the side. The eggs were cooked perfectly on top of our toast and steak. The frites with my steak were crispy and seasoned well. I also loved the chimi sauce with my steak as well. The portion was huge so we were able to take some back home to enjoy another day. Overall, my mom and I had a great experience and would absolutely come back for another sip of their lattes and try another fun drink on their menu. We left with happy smiles and full stomachs, and can't wait to come back soon.

It's a brown sugar milk tea with caramel foam with a floating frozen milk tea bear. ADORABLE!! The set even includes two house-made cookies. WOW! TASTY!! (Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring card or contactless payment.) I arrived at Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) on Wednesday (around 10:21AM). Parking is very easy. The lot is big. However, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) is very hidden. It has no visibility from the street! Staff is very professional and welcoming. Staff politely and cheerfully answered all my questions. Staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. For example, the location does not have a paper menu; all the menus are accessed via QR Code. Fortunately, Staff let me borrow their iPad which allowed me to see the menu on a larger screen. When I'd arrived, Staff asked if I was dine-in or to-go. I was immediately seated. When I'd inquired about the boba. Staff honestly told me that they needed 15 additional minutes to prepare the boba. I brightly waited. All in all, after the 15 minute wait, the drink took an additional 10 minutes before being ready. As mentioned, I ordered the Boba Bear Set ($8.50). CUTE!!! It's a very aesthetic and memorable presentation. The boba pearls came perfect; they're bouncy, perky, and playful. The brown sugar milk tea mixed with the caramel foam tasted honey-like. It's very TASTY! My biggest nitpick is that the amount felt tiny. Still, it's a wonderful memory that I'm so happy to experience! On ambiance, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) is comfortable and clean. There's about 13 interior tables, and there's six patio tables. The music is slow-tempo, and the tall ceiling made it feel spacious. In addition, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) has utility. There's customer internet with password; details are available on the QR code menu. There's also about four electrical outlets. I also appreciated the self-service water station. There's also a gender neutral restroom in the back. Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) felt very hidden yet well-maintained. It's a lovely spot. Overall, I had a magical, memorable experience. I discovered AMAZING milk tea and many precious memories. If searching for someplace special, I happily recommend. 4.9 out of 5

Turns out he hadn't; he'd just read the Yelp reviews! That information caused me to be a little apprehensive, especially when we arrived and there were no customers inside. For reference it was 9am on a Monday morning, so while not exactly expecting a crowd, I did expect a patron or to. However we decided to take our chances and proceeded inside. Most of my apprehension disappeared once inside. Although you can order at the counter, the menu is extensive, so we sat down for a few minutes to peruse it. There were many unique choices so it took me a minute to, but I finally settled on a spam and kimchee omelet. My friend got the florentine Benedict. Both dishes came with a salad and breakfast potatoes; both were good sized plates. We both ordered the house coffee as well. Service was swift and efficient. The food arrived piping hot, as did the coffee. I dug right into my omelet-it was delicious. The potatoes were good too, my only suggestion would be a tad more salt, or maybe even seasoned salt. The salad was tasty as well. My only regret is that there is not an option to get a pancake or French toast with the omelette . Both sounded pretty tasty and I would have loved to try. I guess that just means I have to come back. Neither of us was able to finish our sizeable meals. Hubby willingly took care of mine when I returned home. He had no complaints. You all need to make sure you head over to the Popping Yolk because I want to eventually try everything on the menu so I need you to patronize them asap. You will NOT be disappointed.

I was leaning towards the spam loco moco cause I didn't really want something fried but it was the same price so I figured the katsu was a better deal cause it's more skill. Spam musubi was good but I wish it was fully wrapped cause my rice broke off towards the end. Unfortunately, my experience with the food didn't quite match that first impression. I ordered the steak and eggs (medium rare, over-easy eggs, and fruit instead of potatoes). When my plate arrived, the food was cold, and the fruit was placed right next to the steak. Because the steak was medium rare, the juices--along with some of the blood--ended up soaking into the fruit, which made it very unappetizing. I sent the plate back to be warmed up, but when it returned, the eggs were fully cooked instead of over easy, and the steak was closer to medium-well. The steak itself also lacked seasoning, and there wasn't any salt available on the table to adjust it. I understand that off days can happen, and maybe this was just one of them, but I was definitely disappointed since I had been looking forward to the experience. I would suggest separating fruit from hot proteins--especially when serving steaks that are rare or medium rare, where the juices and blood can easily soak into the fruit. Hoping this was just an isolated experience, as the place itself has a lot of potential.
