Such a cute little diner. The service was very quick. We sat down, and they gave us a buzzer that told us when to come up and order our food. While we waited someone came around to take drink orders. Our food came out very quickly, and was all hot and delicious. The coffee was great and I loved the "homey" feeling that all the mugs were different. I was also very excited to see that the sold some of my favorite childhood cookies that my grandma used to bake.

The food was so good. We had just got done riding ATVs and needed something warm and tasty. Out group of 15 fit perfectly and the food was fast and hot.

My wife and I were driving through Red River NM, and stopped at YESTERDAY'S DINER for lunch - it was a very delightful, charming, and very tasty experience. I ordered the Reuben Sandwich and my wife ordered the Bacon-Lettuce-Tomato Sandwich - both were really fantastic! Hey - I lived in New York City, and this was definitely a good Reuben! My wife also ordered a lemon meringue pie for dessert, which was also delicious. The atmosphere is very nostalgic 1960s, with walls studded with posters of Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and other retro movie stars, plus a model railroad train and track circling the dining room ceiling along with several vintage military airplane models. The host and server were super friendly, very helpful with food suggestions, and very quick to deliver hot food. It was a very delightful and charming experience, and the prices were very reasonable for such fantastic food. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner every day from 7am to 7pm. Very highly recommended.

While visiting Red River, NM, my husband and I wanted breakfast/ brunch and based on reviews, we decided to go here. It was a nice walk from our hotel. Sadly, the weather wasn't the best,it was raining, but we made it. I have to admit, I didn't quite understand how the process worked. You walk in and if there's a wait, which there was (a good sign), we were instructed to go down the hallway and wait. We waited for awhile and they finally called our name and took us to a table. No instructions given. We sat there for awhile waiting, finally a kind man sitting next to us told us to get up and go to the next room to place our order. We did so. The girl taking our order was polite but English was not her first language and I asked her a couple of questions about the menu and she obviously didn't understand what I was saying. Not a huge thing, but just made the process more time consuming. It took awhile, but we received our food, although my order wasn't correct. Again, I think the language disparity was the problem but we did enjoy the food, and overall the experience was positive. It was just kind of odd.

This is the best meal we've had on our trip so far. We actually came here because they are located in the same building as the snowmobile tour we were going on after lunch. We arrived around 1:00 and there was only one other diner in the restaurant. You choose your own seat, look at the menu, then go up to the counter to order and pay. We got the Reuben sandwich with beer battered fries. The reuben was yummy. The pastrami had a slightly smoky flavor with the edges of the meat a tiny bit charred, which was actually a nice change for the typical reuben. The fries were perfectly crispy. Hubby got the Slopper, which was smothered in green chile sauce and cheese. The Chile had a slight spice to it. He ate the whole thing. Overall, we'll be back next time we're in Red River!

5/2/2023 so we head down for lunch and yelp says they are open. The doors are unlocked you can smell food cooking, but the restaurant itself is dark. The handwritten not on the door says opens May 3 which is tomorrow. We walk in since it is unlocked. Finally see someone and she says rather curtly that they don't open until tomorrow. Sheesh. 5/3/2023 9:30 am we are headed out of town we stop here again since it was that side of the street. They ladies were sweeter and attitude way different than the day before. 3 street taco breakfast tacos with bacon (you get your choice of ham, sausage or bacon) hash browns, eggs and cheese with a side of salsa. She literally is making the tacos as I am ordering! $9.00 they were fresh and almost too hot to eat. All is forgiven and forgotten when I taste these heavenly tacos! Not the diet plate and worth every calorie and artery clogging bite! Thank you ladies and good sir for a great Red River farewell.

Best New Mexican Breakfast in Town!…read more Absolutely incredible experience at Legacy Cafe! We came for breakfast and left completely blown away. I had the red chili pork tamales plate with scrambled eggs - perfection on a plate! My partner got the baked egg plate with green chili and couldn't stop raving about it. Jake is hands down the most welcoming host you'll meet, AND he makes a seriously mean latte. Chef Simon's talent shines through in every bite - you can tell you're eating food made by someone who truly knows their craft. The atmosphere is just as special as the food - love the decor and all the historic photos throughout. So much character! This is the kind of place that makes you want to become a regular. 5 stars all the way - we'll definitely be back! Thank you Jake and Simon for an amazing morning

We loved it. Great place to eat and serving up good food.

I'm going to start this review off by saying this- some of the absolute worst customer service I…read morehave ever experienced had taken place here at Tomorrow and Tomorrow. We were so excited to check this place out as we had heard many great things, and that was the first spot of the day kicking off our anniversary. The person at the counter taking orders was extremely rude and unprofessional when it was our turn. She was condescending on every question we asked since it was our first time in. We were curious what the signature latte was since it doesn't tell you on the menu "It's..rosemary?" and then rings up said latte and huffs and puffs like a child when we said we were gonna do two iced lattes "Ugh okay lemme take the signature latte off the order". We go to order breakfast sandwiches but there's a sign that says "No bagels" no big deal, we asked her what do they come on instead "Sourdough....." with the rudest tone and look on their face. My partner asked if she can get a side of tomato jam for her sandwich to a response of "Ya I don't know probably"..at this point I was ready to leave as I am in the industry myself and have been so for 20 years and I'm not gonna let anyone treat me like that. We stuck around though as it was our anniversary and this place was recommended by many others when we told them we were going to Taos for our celebration. Coffee took 20 minutes to make two iced lattes, food took another 30ish and they weren't that busy either. We waited so long that someone who worked there eventually came up and asked if we needed help with anything- we stated we were waiting on our order and they said it was gonna be another 10 minutes. All that waiting around for burnt sourdough, half melted cheese, and bland sausage. Kitchen seemed frazzled although it wasn't busy, felt like they threw our food together to start cleaning the kitchen to close, although we weren't there near closing time. The tab was also somehow $52 for two iced coffees and two mediocre breakfast sandwiches..talk about a ripoff. I haven't even had breakfast that expensive in Aspen or Jackson Hole. One star because the coffee was really good, and the bathroom was cool but that's about it. Everything else about the experience there was lackluster, and I will not recommend this place to anyone who visits Taos. This experience was so awful that I had to send in an email in hopes they respond/take my feedback and improve on things, but I will not go back next time I'm in town personally to see if these issues have changed. Mainly due to the woman at the counter but also the food was very underwhelming especially for the steep price.

I was told their bagel is under cooked so they substitute the bagel w sourdough bread. Don't get me wrong I like sourdough. Their clean cup for water seems to be really dirty. I'm a bit concerned about the hygiene. Ambiance is fine.
